Shortcut to override force dark mode - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Is there any way to make a shortcut to this particular developer option??? When using certain apps I have to toggle this off to use the app and then toggle it back on. Just looking for a quick fix if there is one.

Try tiles

Tried it. It makes a shortcut just to settings. Not that particular dev option. Thanks for the info.

Toggle 2G/3G

Is there a 2G/3G toggle widget/app so one doesn't have to navigate through the settings to toggle? I can't seem to find any good ones that work.

Get on CM7 and toggle away!
It doesn't appear to be something you can toggle with a widget on stock roms.
I use Widgetsoid2, which will let you make a widget that brings you straight to the appropriate menu screen. I'm sure other widget apps will let you do that as well. You could also use AnyCut or BetterCut(?) to make your own shortcut/widget to take you there.

cm7 lockscreen bluetooth gesture

How can I create a lockscreen gesture to toggle bluetooth on/off? I ca create a gesture to take me to the bluetooth settings but I just want to be able to toggle it on/off from the lockscreen.
Am I blind or is the option not obvious.

I just did some playing around and couldn't seem to find a way to do this either. However, now you've piqued my interest as this would be an awesome thing to be able to do lol
*bump* for anyone that knows how to do this for cm7...
There are a few ways that this could be possible..if I could figure out if there is a way to do them in cm7:
1. Like op suggested, gesture to toggle bluetooth
2. Give access to notification bar on lockscreen so you can toggle on the power control widgets
3. Be able to install a toggle widget on the lockscreen
I know that 2 and 3 are doable with widgetlocker but i'd like to find some intrinsic/native way of cm7 to do it...
If anyone knows any of these methods...please let us know...
It's been a while, have you found any way to do it?
I can think of a silly way.
1. Create 2 apps for enabling and disabling BT.
2. Run each app from home screen with different gistures
What i could find is this.
Gesture to go directly to bluetooth settings. Enable or disable there.
Lockscreen gesture lets you choose a shortcut as the target of the gesture. I have created an app called "Toggle Settings" which exposes toggling Bluetooth and WiFi as system shortcuts. So you install this app and then when setting up the gesture choose shortcut and then choose "Toggle Settings" and choose WiFi or Bluetooth. Potentially other toggleable settings could be added too. you can download it from here: goo.gl/0b6sj

[Q] CyanogenMod 11 on Motorola Xoom

I have flashed CM 11 on my Xoom Everest. Unfortunately, lockscreen always in Landscape mode, couldn't be set to Potrait. I've tried search in Setting but there's none. Anyone please tell me how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

Whether I check or not the Auto-rotate in Accessibility under Setting, it doesn't impact on lockscreen mode, always Landscape. Anything else I can do?

Uh.. you don't even need Xposed/custom ROM for data in quick settings? It's already a tile isn't it?

Carrier tile IS data tile. ._.
Long press it if you're on 100% stock, or use GravityBox to change it so that it switches around long and short press actions. Custom ROMs usually have it switched around already.

Long pressing carrier toggle takes you to mobile data usage tab where you can enable/disable data
Why not use power toggles?

He doesn't seem to know what he's doing, what ROM he has, what long-press and tap is and what his own GravityBox settings are lol

Stock = Tap to enter the relevant Settings window, Long press to quick-toggle
Custom ROM = Tap to quick-toggle, Long press to enter relevant Settings window
Stock + GravityBox = you can choose which of the above, there's a setting for it

So you don't need to go to settings and toggle, right? In that case, most of the custom rom's has that feature by default. For example, PA has it by default.

I have gravity box and I tried it. Surprisingly tapping it goes into the setting but long press didn't do anything.

Unfortunately long press doesn't work on that tile with stock functionality. Would be nice though, not like it'd be confused with switching off the voice network since that isn't actually possible without going into airplane mode anyways.

Missing edit option in quick settings

I'm already assuming that it's totally my fault for not finding where to enable this, but I'm at a loss as to how to make the edit option show up in the bottom right corner of the expanded quick settings pane, to add and reorder the tiles therein.
I already enabled System UI tuner by long pressing the settings icon... now what?
On a Pixel running Android 7.1
I'd post a screenshot, but my newbieness doesn't allow external links :\
Cheers!

Click on the pencil once the quick settings are expanded.

I knew I'd feel stupid afterwards, was just so used to the bottom right edit ... thanks!
I've got no "pencil" either! Now what?

Yay! I've cracked it since I posted to you (thx to How-to Geek). But thx for the same tip - simple when you know how (otherwise complete blank, as for so many stuff). issue closed.
