After flashing a rom on my pixel 3 , I've lost all the sensors once I've come back to the official rom ,( IE accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity ...) Can anybody help ?

You might have better luck asking in the right section.

I had the same problem with my new, original Google Pixel 3. It was a irreparable hardware fault. Seems that it is a common error of these devices.
Send it back and get a new one under warranty.

Insane Polaris camera

hey XDA guys ...
Can someone help me with my insane camera. De backcam (not the front) of my polaris displays strange collors while taking pictures. I've added a picture taken today to show you my problem.
I've checked:
- camera software, even installed the original camera cab
- checked cam settings, briteness, effects, etc
- checked front cam, doen not have the problem
Still nothing works. Seems a software issue, can some help me ?
thanks,
Dennis
It can be radio rom problem
What radio version you use?
I do not know, where can I find that ?
My Rom version is PDAVIET build 20226.1.3.0
Somehow i think its a combo of this rom and the manila 2d version. Before I installed the M2d the cam worked fine.
First, if you installed some camera app from m2d try to uninstall it maybe it will help, if not:
PDAVIET its cooked rom right? not the original?
If its not original rom so i guess u have hard-spl and if you do have hard-spl so just upgrade to new radio rom - i use 1.64.08.21 and it's working great.
If you don't know how to upgrade rom or something about hard-spl use search theres alot info about it in forum.
Maybe you can try flashing another ROM and see. Because I dont think the camera is defective. Well it may also be as it couldn't pick up some colours.
Flashing another ROM probably a shipped one should confirm it.
Regards,
Carty..
i have the same problem. after flashing new rom with radio all is good.

Wich radio rom did you use ?
It's a hardware problem. It deals with CPU contacts on main board. I had the same camera bug - ROM update, Hard resets, Radio updates - all this did not solve the problem!!! It was fixed in service center. Camera works fine now!

Hi
I've had this problem and others like no Wifi, no Bluetooth and no FM Radio
I try to fix it with Hard Reset and change the rom (radio alone and entire rom with radio) but it does not fix my problem so I bring my Cruise to the repair center they changed the motheboard and now everything is ok, and it was under garantee.
Hope it helps

I have a 32gb TF700T

Is this most likely a hardware failure or could i have messed up something in the software? - is there something like the webos doctor to restore everthing on the software to stock?
I would appreciate any help you can give a noob
by the way -
i have flashed back to ASUS standard ROMs and this has not fixed the issue --

Mi 4i Front camera Problem

hi!
recently my Mi 4i front camera has started behaving abnormally. the front camera display becomes very very hazy with a lot of red/pink grains on the screen making the front camera totally unusable. but the rear camera works just fine. i tried visiting MIUI official forum on the Xiaomi site, where other users too had reported the same problem. but no solution was available either from Xiaomi or the user community.
can someone here pls guide & help me in resolving this issue.
thanks in anticipation
Try flash stock via fastboot.

thanks @Hackerpunk1; i downgraded th MIUI from v 7.1.1 to v 7.0.3, but with no effect. i further flashed it with the original stock ROM for Mi 4i (MIUI v 6.6.10.0 (LXIMICF)) downloaded from Xiaomi website, but still no luck.
i have observed that in bright light / daytime, the haziness is gradual and slow, but in low light conditions, it almost immediately covers the entire screen.
i am suspecting now it to be a hardware issue. am i correct?
It seems to be the hardware.
I have same problem...still no method to solve...may be cured using custom kernel?

[Completed] Accelerometer passes test, fails to actually work!

Hi everyone, I am having a very peculiar issue.
I thought my accelerometer was broken but it seems to pass the test normally (SensorBox).
However, as soon as I boot NOTHING rotates. Well the only thing that rotates (along with the in-app buttons) is my camera and a few racing games which use the accelerometer anyway to steer. But anything else does not, not even videos or photos.
I have tried switching ROMS, I've went from Stock Debloated to -> Complete Stock with no effect.
I spoke with a Motorola Service representative who helped me run some tests but they said they wouldn't touch the device because the Bootloader is unlocked.
Could anyone shed some light? Any ideas?
Details:
Model: Motorola Moto X Play
Kernel: Currently Squid r18 (but also tried Stock)
ROM: iniro_mxp_6.0.1_v1.2
Thank you in advance! :good:
PS: I have researched the previous posts AND google but no one seems to have this issue. I have edited all my settings to no avail.

Greetings and welcome to assist. If you retrurn to complete stock does the issue go away ? I know on samsung devices removing facebook from the rom breaks auto rotate on the phone due to the removal of a lib. I suspect it is something similar here
Good Luck

Thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem. Even with a clean flash the problem persists.

So stock kernel and stock rom it still persists ? I don't know much about your device but it could be the bootloader being unlocked I guess

So I tried a couple of roms. The issue seems to be isolated only in stock based roms, as rotation works fine in AospExtended ROM V1.2. Any guess as to why this might be happening?

All I can think of is its a bug in the stock firmware if this is only when it happens
