does anyone know how to lower the sound of the vibration... i dont mean sound but like how hard the vibrate is and the loud sound it makes?
help please
You may fix it by replacing it with a other small vibration (from other phone for example)
and how do i do that? you mean use a different phone?
no he mean opening the device and removing warrenty in the process
recall somebody talking about changing the tiny smd resistors connected to the vibrator with a higher or lower value to shorten og lengthen or limit the vibration
i dont sugest people without much exp does that
Hey I wanted to make an init.d script for disabling the backlight dimmer and setting vibration intensity to stock 63% on franco kernel. But I can´t find the vibrator tunable.
For the backlight dimmer it´s "/sys/module/lm3630_bl/parameters/backlight_dimmer"
Would be nice if anyone could tell me
GOT IT! It´s at "/sys/class/timed_output/vibrator/amp"

Is there any way to add a notification sound when the battery becomes low and low battery mode is enabled on the phone, for instance, if the battery drops to 20% the low battery mode is activated but no notification sound notifies the change, can we attach a sound to it?

Click to collapse
I know about a full battery sound in Settings > Accessibility. Play sound when battery is full
However, this app should be able to cater for your needs - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.larryvgs.battery
Let me know how it goes
Wow, Thank you so much stanley08 this is the perfect app i was looking for, however my battery isnt low yet, except that everything else works and i know battery low notification will work too.
Thanks
The vibration is too low, is there any way to increase it?
I agree it is too low. I have not found a way to increase it. Has anyone else?
Anyone else getting the same thing? It's not a problem but it's like lowering the volume for a sec in certain parts of the song. Is it like a feature to avoid destroying the speaker or something? Have 0 clue but curious. Not bothering me or anything as well.
P.S. speakers are so damn well clear and loud, 11/10
Sound like volume limiting is active. Find it in settings. In my Samsung Galaxy phone it's buried deep so look around.
Could also be a 3rd party apk doing it.
Anyone have a LG v30 that can compare the output in high gain vs the rog 5 ?
It does sound like some sort of speaker protection. Did you EQ the speakers with heavy lows/mids? You can also try to enable outdoor mode in sound settings.
Settings -> Sound & vibration -> AudioWizzard may have some options to offset the issue
