I've a pixel currently running Pie. I was previously on Beta 6 of Android 10 and during my usage the device started freezing causing it to be rebooted. The same happened when i placed the calls. I tried factory resetting my device, flashing the entire system image again and finally reverting back to pie to no avail. Currently the bootloader is unlocked, other than that no tweaks have been made.
What might be the cause of this issue? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Alright, this is a long story.
I own an LGMS500 from MetroPCS (or the LD500 Tmobile version).
A year back I rooted the phone, but a couple of months ago it started to act up Giving me the message "unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." at first a restart would fix it but a few days after it got to the point where I couldn't use it. So I set out to fix it.
I knew I needed to flash it back to stock ROM since a factory reset and a hard factory reset didn't do anything. But for some reason I decided that flashing a custom ROM was a better Idea. I ended up flashing the xperia ROM and it soft bricked it ( It turned on and booted but wouldn't let me past a black screen, yet I could lower the status bar).
Then I tried to flash the stock ROM or the "MS50010e_03.zip" to load with KDZ. from:
http://androidforums.com/threads/metropcs-unbrick-kdz-for-metropcs-updated-11-13-2013.788365/
But every time I tried it it came back with a parameter error, I changed many things with no avail, Then I figured that since the phone had a tmobile version I flashed the tmobile stock ROM onto the phone and it worked, even let me use data. But after a few days it stopped letting me use data, with a "Service Disabled message on the status bar where it should've shown the mobile carrier. When I went to check my phones mobile data status I noticed that My IMEI # was unknown.
After some research I came to the conclusion that something was wrong with my EFS folder since that's where all that information resides.
At the moment the phone restarts after about 3 minutes of usage, I should also mention that I rooted the phone after the tmobile stock ROM install because of what this thread suggested I should do.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021
Basically I need to know if my conclusions are correct and what kind of steps I should take to recover the phone if possible.

FIXED it
I just loaded the MS50012b_00.kdz from:
android creations on the weebly site (sorry I can't post links yet)
This is the only image that worked the first time. After that my phone worked normally, accessed the mobile network correctly and the crashing stopped.
I even installed the xperia ROM that is on that page. Everything is running smoothly now.
Hello everyone sorry for this new thread and but I wanted to make sure I give more information on a fresh thread so I can hopefully fix this issue.
The issue I'm having is: When Hotspot is enabled on my Mate 8 Device, the 4G connection does not work on the device itself. However, anyone connected to the hotspot that I enabled has internet access via my Mate 8. Both cannot work simultaneously, only one or the other. This started 3 days ago.
What I did to perhaps cause the issue:
I rooted the factory ROM and changed something with the "Disable Service" app. I diabled the FusedLocation service. I rebooted then it was stuck on bootloop
I proceeded to wipe the phone on TWRP and installed a B180 ROM(Basic, stock international room - rooted) - Problem with Wifi Hotspot persists.
I thought it was the ROM's issue so I upgraded to B320 OEM ROM via 'dload' method - Problem Persists
Installed TWRP 3.0.2 and flashed another L29 B3xx ROM - Problem persists.
every time I installed a new ROM I wiped everything off the phone before I did so.
I'm absolutely stumped.
Please see the image i attached to my findings on my phone.
As you can see when Hot Spot is on, the 4G is "disconnected" and does not get an IP address.

Any help is greatly appreciated again. Thank you for your time!

Hi, I have the exact same issue, I am using a completely stock phone, with stock recovery and not rooted.
Have you found a fix to this problem?
Thanks.
I have HTC U11+ TW version. Ever since I got the Pie update, my phone is freezing a lot. I need to force restart it 10+ times a day. I tried factory reset, clear cache, etc. Nothing works. I did not have any experience with flashing, but I have been reading a lot. I have my bootloader unlocked with S-ON.
My current build number is 2.15.709.1, since I wanted to downgrade, I tried flashing stock image HTC_U11+_TW_1.24.709.999_Images_OTA using fastboot (no TWRP). My phone went into a bootloop when I did that. I think this is because I can only flash an image with the same build number? Anyway, I flashed a HTC_U11+_TW_2.15.709.1_Images_OTA image and my phone is back to where it was, Android Pie (no bootloop), but still freezing a lot.
I found the HTC_DevInfo_Tool.zip tool on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/u11/how-to/guide-downgrade-htc-u11-oreo-to-nougat-t3754481, but I am not sure if it will work on my phone.
Can someone advise what should I do to downgrade? Also did anyone face a similar problem after the update?
this is a U11 forum, you might ask in the respective forum for your phone

Already created thread in the wrong place https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3952280

Looks like it wont work?
I've had a strange issue with my LG V20 ever since I got in last year and installed LineageOS 18.1 after rooting my H990 on LG firmware 10d (H990ds10d_00_OPEN_AU_DS_OP_1216.kdz) with DirtySanta and installing TWRP. Whenever I left the range of my Wi-Fi network, I would cause the System UI to become unresponsive while doing certain tasks - Unlocking, going to Settings -> Wi-Fi, expanding the Wi-Fi quick toggle in notifications, and probably a few more things.
This doesn't happen on the aforementioned stock firmware, nor on 10g AU 0117 stock firmware either.
For a while, I dealt with it by simply not using Wi-Fi. This sucked because I couldn't access computers over LAN, mobile data was slower, and it also had a data cap that I had to be wary of.
However, I decided I wanted to fix it.
I saw some recommendations involving installing every Lineage version since 14.1 sequentially until the latest. This didn't make sense to me, as clean flashing shouldn't leave any remnants behind, but dirty flashing that many versions went against everything I'd ever heard of regarding custom ROMs.
I also heard that it could be a modem firmware issue. Since I started on the last version of the stock OS for my region vulnerable to DirtySanta I thought surely not.
I later found out about KDZWriter, and used that to install the latest Nougat version of the stock rom available (also mentioned above). After installing that, I tried installing the latest LOS on top, which constantly informed me that com.android.media had stopped, I still had the LG sounds and wallpapers, and I didn't go through the initial setup - A sign of a dirty flash. I was still crashing in the same way too.
I formatted my data partition in TWRP (the "type yes to confirm" way), and tried again. Same crashes.
I've been awake for a little too long trying to fix this, but :
What I believe ended up working was backing up my /efs and /firmware partitions in TWRP while on rooted 10g firmware, dirty flashing LOS on top, formatting data as before, then flashing my /firmware backup in TWRP.
I'm hoping for this thread to document this issue as well as the fixes that worked for people. I saw tidbits of information spread out everywhere, so I'd like a central repository for it.
I hope this caffeine-induced writeup will help someone else with the same or similar issues.
If I have any more experiences with it, I'll do my best to write them down. Please share your experiences too!
