Dual flash led problem - Huawei P30 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone
I bought a new Huawei P30 but when taking a picture I only see that it turns on an LED.
Do you have one or two?
Does this happen to someone?
The same happens when I turn on the flashlight
Thanks

I have that problem too! Only one flash lit when taking pictures i dont know if that is an issue or not

I think right one is One Flash
And the left,I think it is ambient light sensor for the sensor lets the camera correct white balance and enhance color presentation and sets appropriate exposure times to avoid flicker artefacts and eliminate banding in pictures and videos, especially in scenes lit with LED sources.

Looks like the ALS (Ambient Light Sensor)
This is from the P30 Pro

LX2 shooting effect is the most close to the naked eye can see.
The next is nexus5 HDR + photo sample
Can be found that dark yellow picture, it is the sun is shining but of old photos made into a near dusk.Continuous shooting many times still has serious white balance is not accurate, not alone.
Here to do a contrast can see understand, above, open HDR +, below to close the HDR +, can be found is turned off, the white balance though drift, but obviously improved a lot.
To open after the HDR + white balance serious drift problem, only through the late PS remedy, below is adjusted during before and after contrast.
Conclusion: the new firmware update this problem before, recommend best when big scenes in the daytime close HDR +
What good method can solve this problem? How to Google response problem?Google engineers will see?

^^ Xperia M LED
Hi there.
Yes, it does have breathing LED light underneath the display like Xperia J,L...
It also has real notification LED above the screen, near the proximity sensor.
this notification led (the one below the display) is the most useless function i seen in a phone. it's ugly as hell too

That is not the notification led. It's just a light when you switch movies, music and photos on the xperia apps. But it's useless yes, they could have done something more with it.
The notification led is like most other phones, a tiny point near the speaker.
A mood light as they call it. Marketing burb. Should be modded as a real notification light.

Back light dose not turn off at all!

Hello,
I've been using an OPO for about a week now, and I really love that phone, everything is great besides the one "slight" problem.
I have a problem with my capacitive lights not turning off ever. (Not even when the phone is off!) I'll post a picture (a bad one) but I hope you can see what I mean:

I don't know why is so hard to take a picture to show that the buttons are glowing .
The best way to describe it would be, that it looks like, like some of the shoelaces that are glowing in the dark (or something that looks like it's radioactive and glows )
But yea, they are glowing much more than you can see on that picture and no matter if the phone is on or off. I just cant get it black!
I am using onscreen buttons but I've tried to use capacitive buttons and turn brightness and illumination off. (It doesn't work).
But I can however turn it up. It's not a major problem, but It gets really annoying especially at night.
If someone has any suggestions what to do, I'll be gladly to try it.
Thanks.

I had an friend with an HTC One M7, had the same problem..just that it was a purple glaze, I did a little research, and it seems that it was an heating problem, the heat was not dispensed correctly, and it affected the camera.
At first, I tried to change the ROM[I Didn't know it was an hardware problem], but.. changing the ROM did some good, the phone wasn't heating up so bad, so the camera wasn't so affected, still..he had a little glaze, but before the camera was unusable..so..
Yes, it's an hardware problem, and you cannot do pretty much about that..you'd better take it back, but..be careful, to relock the bootloader, unroot the phone, and put an non-modified firmware

Ink Spots/Black Dots Common Display Problem. Plz check your S7 Device

Hey folks
Anyone else having some black dots/ink spots on their brand new Galaxy S7? I recognize this issue while watching movies on my phone at night...
This problem already exist on older AMOLED Display like the S3(old XDA thread-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/galaxy-s3-black-ink-spots-help-t1715936/page4)
, but was solved after this generation. Sadly they seem to be back now!
Can you plz test your device and giving some feedback, if i just got bad luck or is it a common issue again.
Use following setup to test it:
- use the uploaded "grey" pic or any super dark/grey picture
- be in a dark room. you cant check it at daylight
- set display brightness to manual and get set it to minimum brightness
I'll also will upload a picture to show you how it looks on my phone. But be aware that this dot is arranged with paint, since none of my cams can capture this issue. Anyway position and size are correct.
