Mix2s's ROM really makes me a headache。
Most developers of other models are willing to provide official ROM
Why is mix2s instead of this?
Although I know that unofficial can be more free.
But why did so many mobile phones, Mix2s chose this path.
What makes developers choose such a form to develop, adapt, compile?
（mix2s havoc, looking at the unofficial I want to flash the gsi ROM.）
Mix2S's Official ROM may not exceed 8.
What does it matter? All the roms we have are stable and updated regularly. I see no benefit to having official roms, it just makes it harder for the maintainers
We used to have OFFICIAL PixelExperience. Guess what happened later? Plenty of unofficial ROMs for polaris have faster bug fixes and more frequent updates. What exactly makes you so frustrated about unofficial ROMs?
Only differences in OTA. Trust the developers of Polaris~
Official is the same as unofficial.
This way we also have more freedom, we can build whenever we want.
If you are willing to choose an official GSI instead of a unofficial proper rom then good luck to you.
No wonder why devs become frustrated and leave development because of people like you.

Posts like OPs are exhausting and the exact reason that most developers avoid XDA. As mentioned before, official and unofficial are exactly the same. Please stop complaining about things you know nothing about.

rash97's CM10 works perfectly from my end. You're probably downloading all the experimental ones.

Nightly builds are daily compiled builds from source. This version therefore has the latest bleeding edge features & tweaks, but it is also the mostly likely to have bugs and issues. This version is not for general use. Nightly builds are available here.

If you really want a bugfree rom, just stick with the stable release. I don't see a difference between the stable and the nightlies other than the stable release is stable and the nightlies aren't.
That was for your points 1-4. And for 5, let's be reasonable. The P500 is pretty old and shouldn't even be running ICS or JB.

you don't have a right to blame anyone, people are helping you by providing you CM and other ROMs, they are not working for you here. And official ICS won't be there because we couldn't have ICS(cm9) with .35 kernel officially

How do you even dare to write such a words?
Optimus One was never meant to be any kind of flagship, so is quite natural, that
it's based on deprecated hardware platform. Even though, devs made quite an spectacular amount of work and brought us some truly amazing work. Due to hardware limitations, there won't be any newer stable ROM than CM7. Also, the number of people willing to develop for Optimus One is inevitably shrinking as they move to more modern platforms.
Last, but not least, have you ever donated a single penny to CM team or any freelance O1 dev? They are doing it for free in their spare time!

Why dont u just add him to ur ignore list?
The CM code base is stable, no software is ever bug free, this is one of the main reasons that this community exists. To fix bugs and provide newer and mostly better releases. This devices was never designed to run anything higher than GB to begin with, whining because hobbyist developers cannot produce fast enough is rather pathetic. If you don't like it, feel free to pull the source and do it yourself.
The people developing for P500 are among the most talented on xda, this is the reason why a lowly device has such a huge following here. If you look at other, newer/better devices, you will notice that very few have their own forum and their roms are usually only available in the Android Development and hacking section.
The work that our devs have been doing is truly outstanding, we have ports for every conceivable rom out there (cept for thin rom which i personally would love to see) and in a very good working order too. I use CM9 by hephappy as my daily driver and I have to admit, I cannot use the stock rom or any GB based rom simply because of the features provided by ICS.
So please, rather give thanks and provide bug reports, the devs want to build these roms for us, don't make them pull out just because you have no tact
If u want stable cm y don't u develop it for yourself. Stop complaining . If u don't like cm and if its not stable den don't use it as simple as that. Use the stock rom. U r not paying the developers so just keep quite. Don't spam the developers thread. People like u are not meant to be on xda.

CM has already released a stable rom that is really ready for daily use and a lot better then stock LG rom: it's CM 7.2 with Gingerbread.
Other Android releases are declared not compatible with poor hardware of the lg p500, so others cm roms you see are not officials, derivated from public cm sources and modified.
It's not possible an official cm > 7 (cm9 - cm10) for Lg Optimus One.
If you want a CM9-CM10 rom stable in your smartphone it's not a cm fault, but a LG P500 fault, it's really old, even if is a good phone.
I use Oxygen 3.0.0 with ICS for daily use, i have some reboots but very rare, even if they happen (every 90-100 hours...).
It this is good for you, try Oxygen by Popdog, in case not, change your smartphone, you can not pretend to have latest technologies without spending money!

Hi Everyone!
I must have stated this many times before in different threads but let me repeat. Whilst the ZF3U is a very capable and really useful device, the developer community has abandoned any work on this device. Root is available, kernel unlock is available but no attention from developers. I really cannot understand this. Even the Sony Xperia Z Ultra with its lack of features such as a basic flash and dual sim got more roms and customizations than our ZF3Us. ZF3U definitely deserves more attention, in fact it deserves more attention than the Note Series due to its size and base features. I have been wishing for a proper Paranoid Android style rom for a long time but there is not even one credible rom for this device. Very disappointed on this aspect of the device.
CAUTION! In my opinion, and as many have learned the hard way, I would strongly advise that you do not unlock the bootloader and/or root unless you really are prepared for risks. Until decent support becomes available use the device in its original factory state. I am currently on my 2nd ZF3U and have no trouble at all. I even,suspect that the current root method and TWRP may even be corrupt that some users are having these issues. My 1st one died after so many software issues and then root related issues so be cautious is my advice.

There are just no dedicated 'developers' for most of the phones in the market on custom ROMs. All the them are users and volunteers like us. You can always step up as a developer.

I agree but think that Samsung phones seem to be getting the most attention than ASUS and Huawei. As someone who has been following the developments on Custom Roms, I think since the move by most OEMs to bring their UX on their devices closer to stock Android, most developers do not think it is worth any attention apart from Root and may be Xposed mods etc… .
IbwishvI could step up as a developer but, lets say the preessures of life make me stay for the time being as an enthusiastic user but you never know.
One thing about the Oneplus One is that it has a ton of roms, great for the user. Not so great for those who want to port more roms, like me.
So I started this thread for users to voice their requests on what rom they want to see on this device, so developers can know what to build.

No begging, or asking for ETAs
Be respectful
Don't suggest roms that alredy have been ported
Reasonable requests only, refrain from suggesting things like TouchWiz, etc., or other somewhat ridiculous requests.

Hey I have a Blu Life One X2. I am a developer and have made some really good findings. I also built some tools (autoroot, toolkit, etc..).

I made my own rom, and so have a few others. We based it off the stock roms, as we cant get any other rom booting (except CM13; lots of bugs)
If possible, can you assist us? Like:
1. Did you port lineage or compile it? What guides did you follow (links please)?
2. Have you compiled the kernel? Our kernel will not boot no matter what (compiled with a ton of different toolchains too);
3. What device do you use for porting?
4. Do you have a /system RW crash (crash when mounting system as RW)?

I understand your disappointment.
However, it's not that simple as you may think. As a student I have to focus on school subjects and it really takes pretty much my whole free time. Also, this school year I have to defend my diploma thesis and this is my main task to focus on as for now.
You've mentioned my work on other devices too - yeah, I have couple of them to play with. But it doesn't mean I forgot about Pure XL. Other devices are just easier to deal with than this freaking Chinese clone. All of them have been maintained at the same time. Source code is always available on my GitHub profile, wanna try yourself?
If I have been paid (don't mind, just an example) $1000, I would have made a working custom ROM in a week! But I'm not and this is only my intention to do so. As for a freelancer dev it's not that important thing. I promised the custom ROM, you'll see it, in the future, not now.
Anyway, what the hell you've been expecting with MTK-based Chinese clone from the company that doesn't care about their customers and has made one, maybe two OTAs...?
You´re completely right. We thank you for your time and effort put to make this phone be more awesome. BLU is the big liar here. I don´t even use my phone as a Blu Pure XL, instead I use the X2Xtreme rom fully.
Take your time @bemolx and don´t mind what non-developers say in the forums, they´re always asking for ETAs and to make things better just for their daily use and dont know the effort put behind every custom thing made.

Can't wait to test this rom on my Allview X2 Soul Xtreme and of course give you feedback.
I don't know if it's because of the stock rom or not, but the phone just freezes from time to time(making me force restart the phone), especially when it get hot. Maybe... hopefully this rom will help with that.
Besides, being unable to update from 5.1.1 makes it that some apps are incompatible which sucks.

I'm looking for A12 ROM for ZF6, as close to stock Android as possible. But I've found only OmniROM, here. I still cannot believe that this is all what there is for ZF6. I feel like I'm missing something or just really suck at searching. So that's why I'm asking here. I'd be grateful for any links for downloads, „manuals“ of how to isntall, if there is something special besides of having bootloader unlocked and just flashing it (no matter what is currently installed on both slots).

Only two A12 roms exist for ZF6:
Omnirom, the most maintaned ROM
Aospextended, not maintained anymore.
I'll suggest you to install Omnirom, since it will be constantly updated in the future. Installation instructions and download link are in its thread here on XDA
Blissrom 15 is also available for this phone.
