Would you help me doing this. I'm trying to convert Nova Launcher into an app system to know If like this android gestures works with this launcher.
I've already tried Titanium and Link2SD converting Nova into app system, however both failed.

In Android 10 system is no longer -rw it is now only -ro. So root apps can no longer write to system.

Hi everyone,
I recently decided to convert some system apps to user apps so that I can greenify them with the free version of greenify.
Most of them were successful except for the following apps:
1. Hangouts
2. Music
3. Internet
4. Play Movies
I used the titanium backup feature to convert them. I did it for a bunch of others and they were all successful.
For the apps above that failed, I no longer see a directory for these apps in both /system/priv-app or data/app. They seem to have vanished?
I still have the shortcuts for these apps in my app drawer / home screen but they are the green android icon and when I click on them I receive the following error: Application is not installed on your phone
Would anyone be able to help me with this issue? phone is SM-G920W8 with android 5.02 rooted with cf auto root and TWRP custom recovery using stock rom.

EDIT: managed to install hangouts and play movies through the playstore as user apps and all is fine. Can anyone provide the stock music and internet apps for 5.0.2? thanks.
I have tried converting an app to system app using:
System app converter
Link2SD
/system/app/mover
None of them works.
The app disappears (already checked play store that it's not installed, and it is also gone from the app drawer) after reboot

Hi I use an app called Offtime to block my phone on a schedule so that I can do other things. To ensure that I follow the schedule I had made it a system app so that I couldn't delete it. But when I tried to do this on android 10 my device would just brick. I learned that the system partition was made ro or something like that.
How can I make this an undeletable app on android 10? I run an Mi A3 if you want to know. Some suggested to update my magisk to the latest version but that didn't work. Could you please help me?

I have system launcher 8 installed as default and I wanted to upgrade to this launcher to versiion 11 by sideapp found on internet however, when I try to install it it gives me an error App not installed. Actually I managed to update almost all system apps except launcher. Any help comments appreciated. Thanks
It seems like on most roms for redmi note 10 ok google doesnt work from sleep. I tired all the methods and even installing google as system app which failed (says no enough space in the partition like priv-app folder and system/app folder ).
I am using elixir rom on android 12. I have tried downloading languages and other methods via the app itself. I was hoping if someone could help me on this I would really appreciate it.
since back in the day on my oneplus one I could just flash gapps via twrp but on android 12 I cant find a Gapps that has ok google enabled. I have been out of the loop for a while so I apologize for any mistakes. Thank you
don't install app as a system app.if you do that you phone will be slow.so don't do that.
you can force stop google assistance app and google app then try again
give all permissions to those two apps
check ok google works or not .if not try uninstall those two apps and reinstall those

I have done all of those methods and can you tell my why will it be slow? I had no issues on my note 10 with it as system app.
