Hi everyone,
I try to change the device name that's showing in my Facebook settings.
I changed already the WiFi, Bluetooth and Host id, but nothing changed.

Yes I did this first of all.
But this takes no effect to the Facebook and Facebook Messenger app.
There are some entries in the build.prop but which one is the right one?
Maybe it isn't stored in the build.prop file?
I can't find any information in the internet.

So I can find the device name on various positions in the build,prop but to change every entry is to dangerous.

I tried to port this to my X10 after stumbling upon here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=693064) ...
I wanted to share it but for some reason it doesnt work
I just get a white screen (at least it didnt gave me a boot loop )
I really dont know why ... can some1 please have a look into it? The resolution should be okay and i even renamed all files to be exactly like my last working boot animation ...

...just need to know how to get it on the phone now.
dude its just a flat image not an animation ... copy it to your phone, and move it with root explorer to /etc/semc/startupshow/default/ (i think, didnt check)
but like i said in the first post .... mine should work but doesnt ... why?

Of course it is, it's one of 30 png images that I've edited.

Because the pngs are the wrong size. 29 of them should be 240x247, and the last one should be 480x854.
Just used rootexplorer to copy and paste the files and can confirm they work, so will attach them now...

Can't seem to find one that will work on our device.
Found one but it's too small.
Tried editing the desc.txt but it didn't show the bootanimation at all.
Hope someone would be kind enough to make the New Google Logo bootanimation.
-Currently on Cataclysm sept.10 release. elementalx kernel. 290 dpi.

Because you didn't ask, and I made that sig myself so it was different to every other member sig
If you wanted a sig similar I wouldn't have minded making one for you, but I don't appreciate people just copy/paste

But on previous android version, before updating my phone, even if I use 4k mod I could make screenshots without any issues of this kind, why now it gives this issue?

By the way I have got around this issue making screenshots with az record, is there any way to set up this application as default screenshot when I press the android buttons to make screenshot?

Same here buds, but I literally have no idea what I did In the first place. my phone told me to restart and when it did now it's got a red error screen. Says OS fingerprint n/a. I've been on this website for 6 hours now trying to troubleshoot this problem because I live in the middle of nowhere with no computer access or knowledge. Please help allfather
