I just wanted to report somewhere on the net that I was successfully able to SSH into my ASUS RT-N66U router and copy TEXFAT.KO into its Library module folder and then with a certain version of stock firmware be able to mount R/W exfat flash drives. I got the KO module from either the tomato or Merlin projects off GitHub and there are instructions on how to copy this into your router Library folder somewhere on the net if you searched real hard. Sorry it's been too long ago since I did this I can't remember the details but wanted to post it was possible.
3.0.0.4.376_3861 firmware with texfat.ko loaded in library module folder

Explain android box image

Hello,
I'm looking at a firmware of a box called: ATN-500
The firmware is all those files:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'm trying to decipher the structure of an android firmware.
Suppose I wanted to write special code or customize something, is there a common knowledge that for example such a file is common for all machines and another file for example is intended to contain custom functionalities.
By the way, is there a way I could extract those .img files and see files or code inside? Again I'm not really interested in the core or the kernel of an android OS but anything that could customize the way it works.
Thank you!

Hi,
Sorry for any inconvenience caused. This is caused by the fact that AirDroid File Manager only has read but not write access to Android system data. We've collected your request to our team and will consider it in future updates.
i've hope that update will come soon

I use Redmi K30 device. After unlocking i moved chinese rom to global rom. Before flashing that my root storage was 3.44GB, after flashing global rom it discrease to 2.69GB. And says 100% full.
By the way, when i try to edit or replace file in root storage it says failed. And also when i add some line in Build.prop, after click save it show "Error To Save".

You can't edit anything in /system, because Google has set it to read-only. To properly edit it, create a Magisk Module that contain changes.

Question Cannot copy files/create data in root directories

I'm currently using nameless aosp ROM on oneplus 9 LE2110 rooted with magisk. I was trying to copy new 450kb tzdata file to my /apex/com.android.tzdata/etc/tz directory due to local time zone changes which made my automatic time to be wrong (my vpn doesn't work if I change the time manually).
I noticed even with R/W mount I cannot paste anything to any one my root directories including system. I can delete files or create 0 kb files but then when I try to write anything in that file, it would not save either. Disabling my magisk madules did not help either.

Have you tried temporarily booting TWRP for A13, and copying from there?
