HI Guys
I received a mail from a friend to look at a website www.I'm_A_Scam.com(I don't like scams)
They offer PDA's, Phones, PC's, Laptops, etc at amazingly low prices (an Apple powerpro for 250 euro!). It seems to be a Chinese website and maybe our Chinese friends from this forum can check this and if this site is scam, then we should spread the word or try to remove the website.

I found a couple:

www.elephantcellular.com/
if in the UK
http://www.cex.co.uk/index.php
also http://www.3coffer.com/ looks like a scam site!
http://www.3coffer.com/
has SCAM written all over it, one of the classic signs of a scam is that they will use a free email account - they use yahoo in this case.

Now that is a legal store but I've always found that to be way way overpriced for second-hand gear.
all depends really,
i found ebay sell items £20/30 cheaper however CEX give a 12 month warranty with their items! and if you get grade A / B they are usually mint!
i got an unlocked XDA Trion grade A for £175 which i thought was a blinding deal!
XDA's on there are the highest price range - SPV's lowest so check out all the names for items and you may find a better deal
Hello Everyone,
I would like you to ask your opinion. Please could you help with these questions:
Where do you looking for new and used phone prices? Where do you buy a phone?
Thank you in advance

You can browse the Marketplace section of this forum. There are many devices for sale.
Also you can check eBay, and if you want to do business locally then Craigslist is an option.

Swappa.com is a good website to purchase used phones. It is safer to buy on there than ebay, because the swappa staff actively works to prevent scams. As for prices, I use the price on Amazon as the market price. I think it's more official than ebay.
As for looking in the xda marketplace, you gotta have at least 50 posts and be a member for a year to access it.
AVForums is quite good. Normally, it's cheaper than eBay and it's similar to the marketplace here but new members can access it.
Thank you and
But what do you think that there is a one source which gives you the all price information across the web?
I think there are a few but it is often better to search websites individually. The search engines normally miss sales and you will find a cheaper price by searching the main sites listed above. Apart from the ones above, you could use Gumtree.com...

Most of the sellers are in the UK but many are willing to post overseas if you pay for the posting costs.

Hi guys,
I've bought tons of stuff on dealextreme (dx.com) and thought I'd check out what a screen protector for my OPO cost. In my search I found that you can actually buy the OPO 16Gb on the website for $408 and the 64Gb for $465. I find this rather odd, since I thought that the phone was only available through invitations.
Is this for real? If it is, I find the invitation system quite pointless...
J.
In China you don't need an invite to be able to buy this phone. They can be bought in stores everywhere.
DX.com is one of the ePRO E-commerce's sites, which is a Chinese company. That explains it.
I bought my oneplus one off them, just make sure it will work with your network
Hit Thanks if I Helped

Only the Chinese version is available on those sites, not the international version. The intentional version is only available directly from OnePlus and via invitation.

Hi,
I'm thinking about selling my smartphone online and wasn't sure which
website would give the best value and is also authentic.
Please note that I'm more interested in companies that directly buy your phones
and not individual bidders like ebay or olx.
Some such websites I've come across are:
http://www.atterobay.com
https://budli.in
http://www.karmarecycling.in
http://www.reglobe.in/
Can you tell me if you've had any experience with these websites
or if there's some other good site to sell your phones in India?
Thanks
eBay.in is good to sell smart phone
Thanks but like I said, I'm looking for non-ebay type websites
or companies that buy your phone directly.

Adding some more links from the past couple days. Looks like there is a new Amazon and Ebay listing.
Ebay!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HTC-U1...hash=item4b2eda47ec:m:mUfeT7wBiBwaQAI4jEHUOnw
Amazon!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077PJXZFK
Furthermore, to see if the device is compatible with your carrier, @santad040 has this nice link to a table showing carriers and bands. :victory::highfive:
@johninsf also wrote this nice little post.

Ebay is the obvious one, but can be sketchy.
Hopefully Wonda Mobile gets it. They have a lot of positive reviews.

I've bought a of phones from eBay, but haven't been able to find any there. Have you bought from mobile Wanda before?

I haven't yet but I frequent the Huawei Mate 10 board where quite a few people have used them. I'll probably be ordering a Mate 10 from them soon. They have fast shipping and pay import fees.

I noticed it was up. I'm seriously torn between the Mate 10 and U11 Plus. I need to do a serious band comparison to see which might work better on AT&T in the states.

Yeah I agree,
Would you mind making a little review here on xda? In this thread or another? I'd like to know your experience as someone in the U.S.
Like, I'd be interested if the DAC is still better than something in another phone like Samsung or OnePlus.. battery life, performance, etc. ?

The price on Wanda Mobile says 619 GBP inclusive of tax (VAT). But if we are getting it shipped outside of UK, should the tax (20%) be deducted from the sale price? Thanks
You can buy it in china, hongkong or taiwan. the chinese model is 4999RMB(about 750USD),the hongkong model is 5688HKD.I bought chinese version week ago.
UK version is available now with 10% rebate!
Just import that one.
Just buy it from Anazon:

Well its definitely not European version that's for sure. That's not available yet according to your previous comment...
The dubious version sold on amazon by some dubious 3rd party reseller must therefore be the china, hongkong or taiwan version. It totally makes sense doesn't it.
I feel like talking to a piece of wood. Knock knock. Does it resonate yet

European version means the same as Taiwanese or Hong Kong ones, and not the same as the mainland Chinese version ...
