Hello! I have a Mi Mix 2s that use PWM to regulate brightness under a certain level!
There is a way i can disable it? Via custom kernel or via another way? Thanks!

While charging with an AC source this device gets heated up very fastly, even when the RAM usage is 60% its thermal response acts like that all its 8 cores are overloaded.

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Xiaomi Mi 6 can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Xiaomi Mi series has always been known for the amazing fast charge capabilities. Coming from Mi 5 and upgrading to Mi 6, I can surely say that Mi 6 is charging slower (even after considering the additional 350 mAh in the Mi 6).
I use Accubattery, I get the below readings:
Mi 5 Screen On (~1,600 mA)
Mi 5 Screen Off (~2,450 mA)
Mi 6 Screen On (~1,484 mA)
Mi 6 Screen Off (~1,556 mA)
Such a disappointment
rom china beta fast charge
use 3c app
Mi 6 Screen Off (~30xx mA)
Mi 6 Screen On (~2xxx mA)

I don't know bout you, but even on custom rom, the fast charge is good.
I'm on global stable rom 9.2, will unlock soon and try a custom room. nice to see these blazing speeds

i think that software detection of charge is not yet as robust as the hardware one.
I always use USB tester like this
Hello guys, my minimum brightness in manual mode is way higher than min with automatic brightness. I faced this problem in all roms, also on stock Miui. I read that with with Marshmallow Miui devs reached a higher brightness on both low and high side... Is this the source of the problem?

I have a problem with lkt, i install LKT with magisk on my Xiaomi mi mix 3, but i have a problem with CPU % usage. After flash LKT (battery) little core are always on 1766MHz in idle with 25/30% cpu usage while big core are OK. I have this problem with governor schedutil and ondemand while with governor conservative il all ok. Before LKT 6h 30m SO while now it is difficult to reach 5 hours SO. What is the problem?
Has anyone tried to do this, if the screen supports this like the Mi 9T Pro ?
Don't think so. There is not yet any custom dev for this phone, so, I don't believe this is happening soon
Found a CC9 Pro overclock dtbo posted in this thread by @HelloRickyLee - check the telegram link in the OP:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/themes/mod-overclock-screen-to-66hz-69hz-miuiq-t3958419
I'm running Q and I think those CC9 Pro mods are for P; the 66Hz and 69Hz at least flash fine on Q but bork the battery stats and charging speed. The 72Hz and 90Hz were really laggy and dropped the frame rate way down; 75Hz and 84Hz were completely unusable after boot. Maybe better luck on a P build though. Using the 69Hz dtbo it shows the refresh rate at 69Hz in AIDA64 and the device does feel a bit smoother to me, but might be placebo since running a ufo test shows the refresh rate at 62Hz.
Maybe someone who knows more about this can look into it, but it seems overclock to some extent is possible for this device.

This mod for Mi9 series may also works on Mi Note 10. I myself can't try not having this phone.
BTW it seems android 10 doesn't allow higher than 66Hz. I see Mi9 series still have no solution on Android10.

Doen't work for me running MIUI.EU stable 11.0.5 pie.
Also tried to flash 66 - 75hz mod specially made for this device. Touch stops working. Settings says is is in 75hz but I can clearly see it runs 60hz.

How about this? Another app for xiaomi framerate control. This one allows setting by 1Hz step.
Any update on this? Thanks.
