I use Photos as my primary pictures app and I noticed when I rotate a photo in the cameras section and then save the new orientation, it won't show the new orientation just the original one. I went to QuickPic and it shows both photos.
Is there any way to set the photo viewer (when pressed in the camera app) showing photos that are taken from the camera only?
The photo viewer shows all photos accessed by the phone in chronological order. It is annoying that I capture phone screen frequently and the camera apps shows the screenshot also within the camera.
Can expect disaster will happen if I download some porn photos and forget to delete
How do you stop pictures from other apps showing up in gallery and camera?
Basically, if wifey sends a unique picture, why does it show in my camera view below when I'm trying to take a picture?
Put a file named ".nomedia" in the folder where the pictures are stored.

In settings>cloud and accounts>accounts>google>turn off the sync for photos.
Recently I bought a Google Pixel 2 and before that, I don't know the fact that when I shoot #Blur photo like Bokeh Mode; it clicked two photos contains in one single folder, first one is blur photo that other is an original clicked photo. Is there any solution that photos can remain in one folder only instead of many blur photo saved in different-2 folders.
Try GCam Tool in play store.
It also automatically moves portrait photos taken with Google Camera, to the correct gallery location.
Seems like this exactly what are you looking for

Hey guys, I have a weird problem with some photos that come out of the stock camera app. When I look at them on the stock gallery app it shows as a normal 16 MP photo. However, when I look at it on a google photos app it shows only as a 0,7 MP photo. These photos also upload to the Google photos cloud as 0,7 MP which is unusable. Have you experienced any similar stuff?
Isn't that normal if you want unlimited free photo storage on Google photos?

Hm, no. Google Photos offers free unlimited storage up to 16MP normally. So it shouldn't do that..
Also that's only for content uploaded to the Google Photos cloud. He should still be able to see the full resolution in the app if he kept the original photo.
Just a quick disclaimer, I am able to see full resolution photos in stock gallery app, not the Google photos app. And it does not happen to the pics I take with GCam, they are being backed up correctly.
thats not the case for me
if i make a photo on stock cam and its displayed as 3-5MB in Google Photos
If i take the photo with 64mp camera it uploads as 0.7 but if i just use the "photo" option on camera app it uploads it as 16.1mp
