OP7 weird stat - OnePlus 7 Questions & Answers

Hi guys. I stumbled upon the battery usage just after I got the device. The device came out of the box with around 65% battery. As you can see from the battery graph linked, preceding the 65% mark in the battery graph, it is as if the device seems to have been idling for some time at 50% and was charged to 65% and put in the box. Why is it like that?

PS: My device is GM1903, bought from Amazon the official retailer in my region.

Where did you buy it, which version? Some more Information would be great.

My picture didn't show 95%. My device had 49% charge when unboxed and then I took that screen shot above, so I don't really understand what your point is. Respectfully.

[Q] Battery went from 93% to 21% in just over an hour

I was getting for work this morning and my battery started at like 93%, and when I got to work, I noticed it was at 21%. What could have happened? I'm using my OEM battery and charger. I didn't do anything differently with it today than normal.

Seems like one of the app is trying to use wifi with GPS or possible it failed to switch to 4g. I would manually disable wifi and GPS, then recharge the phone and see if the issue went away. If it is then the next step is to identify the root cause.
I noticed that your battery levels off. Does it actually die within say 4 hours, or can you go the whole day? I had an issue where mine would level off round 20% and I could go on for a few hours longer.... ended up reflashing my ROM, clearing caches to fix it.

It had Wifi on always, and GPS some of the time.
Doesn't matter much now though; I got a new phone. That was the only time it happened though. Very odd.

I tried a lot of ROM, but none have a battery life equivalent to 12.1 CM CAF (perhaps due to the kernel caf)

gap between frame and body of my galaxy s6 at the lower right corner

Then go ask for refund or new device. It's not normal to have gap.
There should be no gaps between the frame and screen.. You should return it to place of purchase or warranty claim it they Samsung.

The gap is subtle, It's only visible under light ... I took it to warranty and they didn't accept to swap it, I still think that it's normal ...

Maybe you should remove your phone case and look again?
Seems to me the gap you speak of is between the phone case and the screen, not between the frame and the screen...

The option does seem to be missing from the Wallpaper menu. I just set one that I downloaded from the Play Store though and it works fine. Just have to open the app after you download it and set it from there.

Do u have any kind of Bluetooth problems after u reboot the phone. ?
Installed Nougat 7.0 with Odin after download through SAMFIRM. No problem whatsoever encountered yet, everything works flawlessly. Phone seems little faster. After 4 hours of use also battery use seems little better compared to MM.

No, everything's working fine. I didn't fresh install. But I did have some battery issues. Device idle and cell stand by are the main battery drainer.

Maybe you already know, but I wanted to mention in case you didn't. After months of looking into cell standby battery drain, the ONLY way I can minimize it down to basically nothing is to be in airplane mode and using wifi/wifi calling. Sad to see that cell standby drain is still an issue with 7.0 though.
Thanks for the info, I've tried mostly everything but I still couldn't fix the issue.... As of right now I'm on 25% with device idle by being 8% drained about 225 mAh and cell standby being 5% drained 149 mAh.
It might be that I didn't do a fresh install... Since I haven't heard anyone having issues with battery. So I might factory reset in a bit.

Yes, but I removed that when I got mine. The sticker is a white sticker that comes off easily enough. The sticker is not meant to be left on the device.
