Can anyone recommend a good screen protector that only covers the screen, not the keys or anything else? Thanks.
stock one that is included
I agree Tom4s. The stock one is pretty good. For the rest of the phone I have the Zagg Shield. I'm afraid to put Zagg on screen because of bad reviews I've read here. Alot are the same, some are really expensive like 7-9 dollars for one stupid screen protector. Do a search on the forum though this topic has been covered in detail somewhere....

Where can I buy the stock one?
wich one should i buy?
Is there someone that have experience with screen protectors from ebay?
http://shop.benl.ebay.be/items/?_nk...m270.l1313&_odkw=htc+screen+protect&_osacat=0
thanks
I bought 6 from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/protectionfilms24 for about £3. They are ok, but a bit thin so they peel off quite easily. Then again all of the ones Ive tried have peeled off when they catch on the inside of my pocket when I take the phone out.
I'm still looking for the perfect solution, although I haven't tried the 'Shield' ones after previous horror stories on here
my stock one for mda compact 4 is about ready for replacing its quite scratched, where can I buy the exact same one, tmobile don't list it on the uk accessory site which sucks, I don't want cheap thin ones.
I tried some cheap ones from ebay but they peeled off and scratched easily
I then tried a Brando screen protector from ebay - a bit pricier but had good reviews
This is even better than the htc version. It was easy to apply, no scratches and no signs of peeling
Worth spending a bit more for such a high end phone
3m vikuiti is the best so far. I also used the stock one and Invisible shield.
I have a pouch also from bugatti (it is a german company that makes cases for phones, and not only)
I've Brando Ultra Clear and it's very good, although little to small (say 1 mm to in both dimensions).
hi,
i applied the stocked screen protector on my mda compact iv, but a little bit off center.
i've been using it like that for two weeks, but very often the exposed corner sticks and can peel off the whole foil.
has anyone ever tried taking the protector off and back on again?
thx
I did it, but it's hard to maintain 100% dust free surface. I've read somewhere that it's possible to wash protector and then dry it using coffee filter.
I've seen one or two screen protectors that are pictured to fit the N1, but before I go order one, I want to make sure I can't smudge and scratch it up.
I have for my MT3G the PowerSupportUSA.com screen protector for the G1, and it's served me well.
Is there anything similar or better planned soon for the Nexus?

+1. I hate to post just to say +1 but I too am in need of a screen protector. If anyone has any info on any good ones, please post. As soon as a few debut I will try different ones and hopefully remember to post results here. Also, you might want to keep an eye on http://www.seidioonline.com/ as they are getting ready to sell some N1 products. They are usually overpriced but they spawn ideas so people can cheaply copy them.
Does it not come with a protector in the box? Like the G1?
No. I was disappointed it did not come with a screen protector. I ordered a kit from amazon "Skinomi TechSkin - Invisible Cell Phone Protector Shield Full Body Skin for Nexus One - Plus LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS"
Wireless Phone Accessory;
$18.95
Free shipping.
Zagg is taking preorders for the InvisibleShield -- ships approx 1/08:

I've never had experience with the invisibleShield line. Does anyone have any comparisons to the non-smudge/non-glare ones from powersupportusa.com referenced in my op? In order of most to least necessary, I'd like to see these qualities
1. Smudge and fingerprint proof
2. Static cling rather than adhesive backed
3. Can take a bullet to protect the screen (at least be scratch resistant)
4. glare reduction
5. Looks good.
I've not yet been able to sell my MT3G, but when I do I'm very hopeful I can buy both the screen guards, case, and phone on the same day.
Does the phone at least have a protective film that you have to peal off before you make calls or something?

Not that you would be able to leave on.

I've had both the Zagg (and InvisibleShield and ClearProtector and whatnot.. they're almost the same when used on the screen) and PowerSupport anti-glare ones. I'll rate it JUST FOR THE SCREEN:
1. Zagg is somewhat fingerprint proof on the screen (better than a bare screen), but too far off from the anti-glare protectors. No comparison here, anti-glare wins.
2. Zagg is adhesive based (you need to wet it with a solution to apply). Only regular screen protectors (including anti-glare ones) are static cling.
3. Ah ha, here is what the Zagg-type stuff wins. Just view the Zagg videos and you will see they are a lot stronger than a hard plastic film. Scratch-resistant-wise, I find they both do the job well enough.
4. Zagg is somewhat anti-glare, because the surface is not even. But the "bumps" are a lot bigger/coarser than anti-glare screen protectors (like PowerSupport). Zagg-type stuff is still shiny while anti-glare ones are matte. So the anti-glare property is a lot better on (gasp,) the anti-glare screen protectors.
5. Appearance wise, it depends on what you like. The anti-glare screen protectors dim/distort the screen a bit, while the Zagg-type stuff preserves the colors better. However, the Zagg stuff has an "orange-peel" look due to the bumps, while the anti-glare protectors look smooth.
Personally, I use Zagg-type skins for the body, and an anti-glare screen protector on the screen.
And I want to add that my Zagg-type skin is peeling off my Magic (since day 5 or so?!), while my anti-glare screen protector recently has a tiny dent. Both are not bullet-proof.

I found a 15% discount code that worked for my order: hfmembers
I ordered the clear silicone protector, a motorola rapid car charger, and the skinomi protector. I'll report back how everything goes.
I just pre-ordered the Zagg Screen protector only. I had one of the whole body clear skin things from Zagg for my G1... and I did not like how it made the phone look, and how it felt.
I do however, really like their screen protectors. You cannot mar them what-so-ever. The only thing I would stress is taking your time applying it to the screen. Make sure that sonovagun has a lot of the solution Zagg provides, and get all the air bubbles out.
I think a nice silicon case (hoping for a Blody Glove) for the Nexus will be a nice fit for this phone... the G1 as always cumbersome due to the sliding keyboard. Every case for it came in 3 parts.
I just got word from Martin Fields (overlayplus.com) that they have a Nexus One on order and expect to offer screen protectors in a week or so. They usually include a camera protector too.
How is the glass screen on a stock Nexus? Is it easily scratch-able? Is it even glass?
Wish it was Gorilla Glass, would solve a lot of problems

Yes, it is glass. Does it matter how easy it is to scratch? It's possible to scratch it. If you put a protector on it, it's just a few bucks to replace if it gets messed up and it's peace of mind...
I ordered a screen protector from clearfreakmobile on ebay. It's an invisibleshield type (have to use water), but it looks fine. I never liked the full body kind as the little pieces keep coming off in my pockets. Should hopefully get it late next week.
i'll prolly check out martin fields when they start shipping them.
I still swear by naked cases they are awesome. Patiently waiting for a nexus one!
Nothing beats powersupport anti-glare. I custom cut these for my car navigation, digital camera, and all my phones. but nexus got a big ass screen and custom cutting wont work
I'm digging the Clear Protector (which, again, is the same as Zagg and Ghost Armor). It actually gets completely smooth over time and the orange peel effect becomes less noticeable. It also starts off with a little more friction on swipes than I like, but that is fixed over time as well.
Hi guys,
Just got an S6 recently and really don't want to put a case on it, so I thought I'd use screen protectors instead. However, I've yet to come across any that cover the entirety of the front or back glass. Has anyone found any like this that they can recommend? I understand that the glass curves slightly at the edges, which makes it difficult, but I've seen iPhone 6 protectors that specifically say that they curve at the edges, and hoped that someone had done something similar for the S6.
Thanks folks!
I don't use anything but Moshi edge-to-edge tempered glass protectors for my iPhone 6, Note Edge, and now S6. They're a little costly but they're good stuff. In the US, they can be purchased at AT&T corporate stores. As far as the back, I use an inexpensive Skinomi back protector. It gives the slippery phone a lot of grip.

I use Nillikin protectors. They go edge to edge and they are very cheap if you are in the US. I'm currently on my third one because I thought the first one was incorrectly placed and my second I thought it was causing my Incipio OffGrid to not stay closed when I just had a defective case.
I will provide a link later on or you can search on Amazon.
Impressive design on Galaxy S6 Edge+,yet it would be another challenge for manufacturers, for now on amazon and spigen and otterbox, none of them released tempered glass screen protector for the S6 Edge+, just share your finding with experience if possible...

I think if they do, even the glass protector would need to have curve. 2.5D display of Note4/5 or edge display of the Edge variant wouldn't be covered completely otherwise. And even if they come up with something like that, I would assume the price would be too high..
I hope skinomi makes this for the edge +
Give them some time and I'm sure temper glass edge to edge protectors will be available

Looks nice but no brand name to research reviews to see how it well it covers so 25 from a unnamed company that ships directly from China is definitely too much!
Plus paying $25 and you may get the screen protector between now and Halloween.
I got the skinomi screen protector. I guess this is the best selling on amazon for this phone, but i dont recommend it. There are plastic indentations of on the screen, its wet install so no bubble, but its a nightmare to install, cos even if u wet install it, and squeeze out the water with a squeezee, the skin wont stay on the screen.
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi®-TechSkin-Replacement-Definition-Anti-Bubble/dp/B011M7ZTUA
Waiting for spigen or some other known brand to come up with a curved tampered glass screen protector.
I figured $25 to protect my $850 phone until a better cheaper version is available was worth the chance to me. Trust me I wish there were more options but that is not the case right now

I have that same one on my screen right now and the install was simple. No bubbles and it has stayed on with no issue. It's clear and looks good.
Either you got a defective one or you are not experienced installing a wet apply protector.

Its not defective, and i never said there are bubbles, i've been installing screenprotectors since the inception of the first generation of iphones, but lets not judge each other, to each their own. I dont like it.

I'm not judging you, I just offered a couple guesses of what could have been the issue. I also never said that you said there were bubbles. I was sharing my experience.
I understand that you don't like it and you are entitled to your opinion of course. For the $1 that I paid, I'm cool with it.

Take pics and tell us if it fully covers when you get it?
Finally, it will come out with perfect match to the edge+ or something.
The one I ordered shipped today. I also noticed a bunch of new people selling similar tempered glass edge to edge protectors on ebay.
I've also ordered Skinomi and yes,it's wet install and kind of tricky but luckily I was able to have a successful install. It's kind of soft and rubbery feel, but not much that cause worry or distraction. I'm actually loving it.
I've got the same one (skinomi) on my phone. Installation was a breeze. No bubbles or peelings, but I do hate the fact that there are some dust on the edges of the screen protector, none on the screen tho. I also hate the rubbery feeling, but for now it will have to do until I can get my hands on the tempered sp. I almost always go with the Zagg tempered glass, since it features a lifetime warranty.

I would have to Agree i used the Skinomi on my Note 4 edge ,most people couldn't believe I had a screen protector on it it was that hard to see, and the curve on the note4 edge is a lot more of and angle .........just my 2 cent's , just a tip for those that are using any type of wet application I would suggest you get a bowl , like a large salad bowl fill it half way with water and then add a few drop's of dish detergent not too much , it allow's you to get your finger's and the screen protector evenly wet and if you see a hair or a piece of dirt or whatever just pull it off submerge the screen protector to get what ever that was either on the screen or on the protector or the screen and start over again , ever since I saw this tip from somewhere here on XDA it's never failed three different phones and perfection ..........:good:
I just put on the techfilm dry install and it wouldn't show in a picture that's how thin it is. No bubbles full coverage, had to use a flashlight to make sure it was on. Best protector I've ever used on any phone. Oh and no rubber feeling like I've heard about others
I know certain cases like Lifeproof and Otterbox have pack in protectors that are cut specifically for the screen so the cases don't mess them up, and I'm looking for something like that that is sold by itself. I have a dbrand skin, and they don't have any from what I can tell, which is lame.
I did a lot of searching and couldn't find one when I got my S6. I ended up going with this case:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QU4PRP8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
It's not exactly what I wanted, but it offers good protection on all sides and works with skins without any problem.

I bought a chinese glass tempered glass screen protector that does just that. However i can't imagine how you can find the same one, just try Chinese stuff shops.
I use Nilkin cp+ and it is the best thing I have used next to naked screen.
Try Buff screen Protectors, they do what you want, from edge to edge, and it is not glass, it is thicker than normal screen protector
