What screen protector you recommend?

I've been using InvisibleShield but didnt like it because it almost ruined my screen + Im afraid from the spray.
I also had MartinFields, but it scratches very easily.
What would you use to protect the screen + Hardware buttons?

I got one of those cheap HK deals less than £15 on ebay for a screen protector, 2nd battery, docking clamp for car and silky smooth silicon cover.

for the touch screen I use Brando Ultra Clear (good quality, washable....) and for the hard button, since I used my diamond (1 year) I had never needed to protect them, and they are no scrach !

I want to buy InvisibleShield and I've heard that it is the best (because it does not alter the function or sensitivity of touch screens), but how did it almost ruined your screen? I haven't seen similar complains on the net.

Get one from bestskinsever.com. Its bascially the same as the more expensive insivible shields.

I use some of their stuff on my MP3 players. Its great.
I'm just using the stock screen protector atm, and orderd a $1.5 silicone skin from dealextreme. I am considering one of those BSEs for the Diamond though.

Cheap and effective
Personally I invested in a good leather flip case instead of looking for "better" screenguards. One year later, my phone still looks brand new without a single scratch on the screen, back cover or buttons. And I've even dropped it on the floor, lol.

Any recommendation for replacing the ORIGINAL (came with the Diamond) WITHOUT the camera hole on the upper right corner? Thanks in advance.

I have tried the invisible shield by zagg and it is extremely hard to put on. the material is very unforgiving in the installation process, a spray must be used, overall the most difficult screen protector i've ever tried to install. also, the material is somewhat rubbery, so your fingers don't exactly glide too well over the surface, because it's rubbery and grippy. the best screen protectors i have used were from capdase. it fully covers the whole face of the diamond and is very smooth and responsive. the best part is that it doesn't even look or feel like there is a screen protector there. much easier to install than others too.

The best screen protectors I've used are from a seller on ebay called louis-pr. He sells a protector that is thin, is completely invisible and I raplace them about every 8 months when I get a scratch on them, and I'm rough on my phone. He sells them for a lot of the HTC phones.

There is no screen protector specifically for ACER S200, at least I wasn't able to find one. Do you have a direct link?

I am very very content with the EXIM screen protectors from Japan distributed in the whole world. One of the special features are decreased light reflection ...in other words: You can see the screen during the sun is shining.

You can wash the stock protector with soap and re-apply it at least. Thanks to Acer it's not a puny glue-based protector, but an ol'-good polarized one...

Clear Protector
I have been using the Clear Protector skin from ebay for a few weeks now, thought I'd give some feedback.
The large skins for the screen and entire removable back of the unit fit perfectly. The other tiny pieces for the chrome edges and beveled portions of the phone are not quite as perfect, but close. The material is very similar in feel and durability as the Zagg Invisible shield on my wife's Ipod. Application is the same as well, though they do not provide you with a spray bottle or squeegee. I left too much fluid and bubbles under one part on the back, and it disappeared as promised after a few days, like 4-5.
Unlike the standard screen protectors, there are no marks on the surface after 2-3 weeks of use, looks good.
Note: If you let your 6yr old handle your phone with hands dripping with grease from fast food fries, the very long thin strips on the side bevels may detach for 1-2mm from their ends. This may be partially due to the fact that I prevously dropped my Neotouch on concrete while running, leaving deep gauges on these corners, so the protector didn't stick down as completely. Certainly can't say its the product's fault.

I have only the screen and the back attached because with the other
tiny pieces the phone can't get in a slide-in case!!
In general it's a very good product that will protect your device 100%

Bought a pack of 3 pieces at ebay from a hong kong seller for 3€. This protectors are really very good stuff. Just search in ebay for: "acer s200 display".
This is no joke real good quality ,very fingerfriendly and resistant.

Anyway, I ordered my Zagg Invisible shield a few days ago. I hop to get by the end of next week.

Received th zagg invisible shield yesterday. And i already managed to rruin the screen protector :-(
This was my own fault though. The product seems very nice. I got the full body protector. The back was the easiest to apply. The screen took me a few tries before it was perfectly fit unfortunatly in the process some dust had settled on the sticky side o/t protector. Now i have some black spots underneath it. The zagg product does increase swype resistance (but also makes the back a bit sticky and thus less easy to slip). I still have the orignal Acer protector but I like the zagg product. I'll probably order another one to replace the speckled one that I have now :-(

someone of you can confirm that Acer Liquid screen protaectors are ok for Neotouch ? Some people in this thread suggest to look for "Liquid" product: I see that there are famous Brando Ultraclear for Liquid, so i would like to try them on my Neotouch, but i cannot understand if the screen size/form is the same....

I'm looking at getting some screen protectors for my Desire Z and wondered where/what people would recommend getting, are some better than others or are they all much the same?

They are all pretty much the same, however if you try to get them too cheap you may end up with a faulty batch that don't stick to your screen.
Look at any well known phone website to buy some, they are not expensive and usually come in packs of 6.

I recommend the Skinomi ones. It doesn't change the feel of the touchscreen like some others and is good with fingerprints and glare. When installed, you can't even tell you have a protector on. About $10 on Amazon.

They are not all the same, IMO. The cheap ones will show fingerprints like crazy, and get scratched easier, so they don't last very long. This was the case with the cheapo screen protector that AT&T included with my trusty old Touch Pro 2/Tilt 2. It looked like crap after a month or two, and had to be replaced. Based on some recommendations by users on XDA, I bought some high quality ones from Boxwave (got the "Crystal" version, some mentioned the "Anti-Glare" was grainy feeling). Much more resistant to fingerprints/smudges. Have had the same one on that phone for 7-8 months and it still looks pretty good.
I liked the Boxwave protectors so much, that I ordered them for my new Desire Z. They are a little pricey at $13 each, or $28 for 3. I'm sure you can find comparable quality for somewhat less. But for me, I'd rather stick with a product I know is quality; rather than experiment with something new on something that may/may not be as good, just to save a few bucks. And the super cheap ones (the ones that cost a few dollars a piece) aren't even worth your time, in my opinion.
Zagg and Bodyguardz also seem very popular, highly praised by users here. But they are also on the expensive end.

I'm using Martin Fields screen protectors for the Desire Z.
I've used them for all my other devices and I have no complaints. It even comes with a little protector for the camera lens too.

I recommend Skinomi too. The package they ship to you is very high quality, comes with a squirt bottle and a squeegee to push away the bubbles. The skin looks like the type that Zagg/BSE ships you, but the feel is so much better. It doesn't have that stickiness that Zagg products tend to have.
It's also very resilient to scratches; I've had it for 2-3 weeks and there are no scratches whatsoever on the screen, unlike the Clarivue antiglare I had for my N1.

Does anyone know how important having screen protection is? I had a screen protector on my MotoMilestone forever, scratches all over it, looked like crap. pulled it off and decided not to use one, and didn't get any scratches after that. Are these screens not like a "gorilla glass" type screen?

Mines been sticking like no other, no bubbles.
Just gotta make sure no bubbles are underneath when you lay it down.

The cheap screen protectors scratch really easily and look like garbage in no time, for sure. But get a good quality ones are very scratch resistant. I have had the same Boxwave protector on my old Tilt2 since May of this year (just upgraded to the Desire Z), and it still looks really good, just some light scratches.
I had the same thought as you with my old Kaiser/Tilt. The cheap screen protector that came with it got all scratched up, and I decided to go bareback. It seemed just fine for a while. But as the months wore on, I noticed faint scratches slowly building up. And one hasty travel day, I accidentally (and stupidly) threw my keys in the same pocket as the phone, and got a big gouge on the screen. Of course, a lot of this will depend on how you treat your phone, use a case, etc. But it just takes a one time mistake to get a bad scratch on the screen.
I don't think the Vision/G2/Desire Z uses Gorilla Glass. In any case, I just read on these forums that Gorilla Glass is very hard to break, but not really all that hard to scratch. There are reports by Samsung Galaxy S owners which have easily scratched the Gorilla Glass on their displays. If you do a search on these forums, you will find conflicting statements about whether the Desire Z display is scratch resistant or not. Couldn't really answer your question about how hard/easy it is to scratch the screen on the Desire Z. But I don't intend to find out the hard way.

Don't get yourself those cheap screen protector..
for those cheap anti glare sp, you'll have rainbow effect which will distort the vividness of your screen.. i tried these sp before and i recommend: Capdase Imag, iDEFENSE, and the well known Steinheil Ultra Fine series.. go and get any of these brands and you won't regret it..

i have the official htc screen protectors, as with any screen protectors they can be a bit fiddly to get on properly first time so i ordered a couple of packs of them. Once i managed to get one on without any air bubbles, it's stayed on perfectly and you barely notice it's there. i've had it on for 4 months and it's showing no signs of wear like some of the cheap ebay ones do )

If you are willing to spend the money, the Martin Fields ones are very, very good. You don't notice they are there, and they are nice and smooth, like the glass on the screen. Just nake sure you put them on the right way, like all of the full front screen protectors for this phone.

Another vote for the official HTC screen protector. Its not the cheapest and its a bit of a pig to fit perfectly but its really good and extremely hard to notice.

I have Brando Ultra Clear and it's great. You won't recognize there is a screen protector.

+1, I bought one the other day from overlayplus.com. It arrived extremely quickly and while it did take some work to make sure no dust got in-between the screen and the protector once it was applied it fitted seamlessly to the point where I can't even tell it's there. So yeah, worth every penny.

I use really cheap ones from ebay and it's fine. I replace the it aboot every 12 weeks but for 18p each, who cares?
I apply with a spray of lightly soaped water and never getting get any air bubbles.

Yeah I would agree the official HTC screen protector is the best.

For first aid, Brando shop screen protector also does the trick. Not as good as official, but I liked it better than Invisible shield.
Easy to put on, washable, ok protection level.

I bought Zagg's invisible shield. You only get one and it is like installing car tint but it is pretty damn good and lifetime replacement. its about 19.99 to 20 or somewhere like that. worth it though.

I use the HTC Screen Protectors too.
But bought them because of the review of some other users.
I cant say they were wrong The shield fits perfect, has no overlapping edges, is nearly invisible especially with a bodykit/protector.
One thing ... that infers ...sunlight!
Under the sky you cant really see anything if you are not in a dark shadow of something.
So ... anyone made experience with matt/faint/milky protectors?
I heard be someone else, that under the sky the view of the screen is much better.

Thx. This one I'm having also, but it has a huge problem. It somehow lights up the blacks on the display. With the display turned off also the black is whither that it should be.
But I must admit it fits perfectly.

That has terrible reviews for durability on Amazon. There is nothing good available it seems! I've resorted to a film protector as a last resort after getting a scratch while I waited for a good glass protector. [emoji2959]

I finally gave up and bought a Zagg InvisibleShield for $30. Hate paying that much, but it feels so much better than the film protectors.

This one is the best by far. It's the only one that's fully adhesive and it comes in a 3 pack. I know it goes against logic, but don't read the reviews. A lot of people counted it as a low ranking item because they couldn't get their sides to fully adhere. Just use a blow dryer. It will eventually stick down and its worth the extra work to have a fully adhesive glass.

You need to get glass screens that use UV light. Its the only way to get glass properly around the curved screen. Basically it's a glue and the UV light cures it. Look up WhiteStone Dome, they specialize in these, super popular on the Samsung's, only thing is they want $50-$70+ for one. It's robbery, cuz u can get the same dang thang for way less, TBH, the key is the glue, it dries crystal clear, unlike anything else. But you can use any tempered glass protector, make sure it's curved and clear, some have a dot matrix thing going on, you don't want that. The V50 screen is identical to the V40, so you can use what I've got. I've bought these twice, each time I ordered the 2 screens deal, it's cheaper and you'll have a backup. If you want to use your own glass, look up "loca glue." It's on the bay & Amazon, that's the same glue they use in the expensive stuff and in the link below. You'll wanna watch some vids before trying it yourself. Oh yeah and a UV light, I already had one, the one included in the kit should work I guess but I never tried it cuz I already one. Mines like a flashlight but with UV LEDs on it. You can check it out on same 2 places with the glue, it's cheap, $5-10, glue is about the same, depending on how much you want.
Love my glass screen though, you don't know even know it's there, at the same time, no need to be extra cautious about my screen anymore, I'll just slap another on if anything happens. There's a thread about this in the V40 forum if you wanna check out. Good luck
