Hello.
I made mod to run Samsung Budds app on modified Samsung phones. Official app crashes when trying to connect so I made some modifications.
NOTE: You need to install both Samsung Wearables and Budds app, otherwise it will not install.

You need to uninstall both original apps first. Then extract everything from zip, and install both extracted apks.

works for me, remember that this app is only for samsug devices with custom rom

I'm assuming its not a good idea to update the app from within this cracked APK?

Cracked? Nothing is cracked here. This app is free, and I just made it work on samsung devices with custom rom. If there is update introducing feature you need I can patch latest apk and upload it here

I installed AR 11.1 and noticed the Samsung App Store is not included. I thought I just missed the selector to install it so I reflashed and no option in the Aroma installer. Is there any way to get it?

none of these work for me
I tried both phone apk's and both tablet apks on my tmo s4.
after trying to install each one it just says
X App Not Installed
Anyone know how to fix this? I would like to use my galaxy gear...

I think that ROM isn't Touchwiz based, so it doesn't work.

I have an iPhone with the Gear beta app, but i have the firmware R720XXU2AOJ3, which I have read is old. I need to update the watch to the latest firmware, but i have no compatible Android device to do that.
I have read this , so i think i could update my watch using this method. The problem is that i don't know what is the latest firmware and i don't know where i can download it. Anyone have the last firmware to download??

Finally got my Gear S2 updated and working with iOS app. I had to reverse engineer the android app to force the compatibility with the android device and update the watch.
Maybe i could do a new thread with a tutorial about it

Couldn't you just connect the Gear S2 to your wifi and update over the internet?

I tried it, but it always said I had the latest version. Older versions need the Android app to update.

Can you give out more details please? I am in the same situation. Don't have a android phone to upgrade the software on the watch.

Hey I followed your guide, but I ran into a problem when I try to install the apk.

I have seen it is a security measure included in latest Android versions (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/...rmission-c2d-message#comment43278803_27043933) to prevent that two different apps declare the same custom permission with a different signature. The simplest way to fix this is get the APK for the GearPlugin app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.gearoplugin) and the accessory app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.accessory), decompile both apps, recompile them as you recompiled the manager app, sign and finally install them.
Now you will have all the samsung apps signed with the same signature.
I did have a compatibility device, but the Samsung Gear Manager shows that the S2 is running the newest firmware..:crying:
Does anyone know how to upgrade the S2 with firmware R732XXU2AOJ3 to the newest, R720XXU2DPFB, or where I could download it ? I guess I could flash it with Odin to get S2 back to the newest firmware.

I am on sac s8 rom.
And if i u zip the zip, i can install all the apps, but the widgets are small. Its like i cant use the whole screen.

Don't trust your gut. Flashed it with flashfire and now when I go to the setup screen im stuck at checking connection.

The new night theme cannot be disabled. More features could be broken that we haven’t seen it yet. I love what I'm seeing with this update, love navigation gestures compared to navbar because it give me more screen. Love the new Dialer because everything is now down, very handy for one handed usage. Good one Samsung. :highfive:

I use the Android messing app and it works fine. I haven't tried the Samsung msg app yet.

Is the pop up related to a notification from the Security Log Agent app? Is so the the following command will deactivate that app 'adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.samsung.android.securitylogagent'
Don't know how safe it is to not have that app but that's what I did.

Flash this update last night and I loved, but couple things is annoing( not abig deal but....)
AOD is not working, SPLITSCREEN is working but now settings for it , every time I try to change a theme (official one from Samsung store) phone is reboot and everything is start from begining( notifications sounds and some other setings) any idea why? And in DeX station it's working fine but phone is still lit up.

what version did you get? just curious what ROM are you on?

I don't have a custom Rom. I installed the latest version from oxygen updater.. my bootloader is not locked tho..

Mines not locked either. When I was on the beta ROMs I had issues with it, but on the latest stable ROM I have had none. Having said that though, I could always download and install from another source like APKMirror.

I am going to lock the loader and wipe the phone. Hope this fixes the problem.. I ll post the results

Well, wiped the phone, bootloader still unlocked. Problem solved. I can now install the APK. Thanks for the help guys
