EDIT:
IT DOES NOT WORK FOR US CURRENTLY!
It looks like it will take at least another version to work on Samsung ROMs:

It makes bootlop on stock samsung Lollipop roms
I hope it works on our device.

If wanam, the guy that works on unofficial Xposed for Samsung 5.1.1 devices says that it has to be deodexed to work, then that's the case. So there's no way you're successfully running Xposed on an odexed ROM, nice try.

It flashes just like any other viper4android zip but for m8 (in my case works) it renames a file:
#!/sbin/sh
mv /system/etc/htc_audio_effects.conf /system/etc/htc_audio_effects.bak
Work on S.ROM(MM)
Thx very much!

Above you it says "works on s rom" that rom is a sense 7 Android 6 MM rom. So my guess is yes.
But on the other hand it's not that hard to try out yourself. Creating a nandroid backup and flash the zip, checking the outcome takes less time than the 13 hours between your posts.
Why is it always someone else who has to confirm if it works or not, you can be that person too !
Cheers

Yea sorry didn't try it out myself and check. I will. But you know, S ROM is based on the GPE , that's why kernels like elementalx GPE versions work. So technically it should work on S ROM. Anyway will try it on sense and report back.

And you think posting if it works on another device is useful?! It's the m8 forums bud. Head over to a9 forums if you want to test and report stuff. And his kind of posts are useful for ppl like you wandering around on XDA.
I already saw some kind of stuff work on another device and that's why i asked this question..

The Sound Mod Thread by ZuBi182

This is my Sound Mod Thread for S7
This is for Flat and Edge versions.
If your model is not compatible with the mod, upload your stock mixer_gain.xml and mixer_paths.xml located on SYSTEM/ETC and i do a specific mod for your model.

We don't have a custom recovery chief. This thing is locked down tight.
Why is this is the Verizon thread? We don't have root or recovery and probably never will.
Lol
We need this mod now that we have root. Still waiting on our version.
Does this work now that we have root?
The guy that made the mod needs to make a version for us. I sent him the required files.
I'll be checking on this thread, I can't get Viper working on the s7.

I really wish someone OTHER than the op can figure out how to make both speakers work. This is the only mod I wanted to root my phone for and the wait is killing me.

@tygib I used flashfire. You can find it in the play store.
That's a huge shame. I'm surprised no one has been able to figure this out yet. I'd expect the s7 mods to be flying through now that we have root, but it is pretty quiet here.
Yeah I know, no one's even got a rom out yet.

I read this comments and I think that if I will create a mod for your model or if I prefer to wait to other person to create the mod.
I have created a theath on every s7 model forum and I read a lot of comments like this. I have to say SORRY for open a treath and now you have root and want a mod.
I Think this is not the way and people like " ironbesterer" are the guilty
This is my first BETA for VERIZON S7 AND S7 EDGE
Please, download the two files because i don't have this model and i can't test the mod. Is easy that this beta can bootloop the phone.
If you have problems, flash REVERT TO STOCK and say me the problem please.
Test the beta and say me if dual speaker works and if there is more volume on main speaker.
If i can make a mod for Verizon, in a few days i will upload the mod for all models.
FOR MAKE THE UPDATES EASILY, THE MAIN THEATH IS HERE:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/themes/req-dual-speaker-t3339809
I only see these treath, please, don't comment or request in this treath.
Thanks

The first way with your audio mod worked just fine, thank you my friend. I'm running a nice N7 port and everything works. Riverrom RR5 with everything working perfect, I even have xposed. It uses note 5 camera but n7 video as so you still have gif making. Choose anyone you want, they all work now.
Is anyone else having the problem of when you don't touch the phone for a period of time, it freezes. I would have to Force it into download mode then reboot in order to use the device again. I tried three other roms and still the same issue. I'm thinking, could it be kernel? I'm not sure.
It's really necessary flash Arya soundmod? I think with kernel and audio fix it's all :/ can anyone confirm?
