I have an Umidigi one pro and I have been trying for months to get pixel experience or arrow os or something like that on it but all of the tutorials I follow always have something missing so I was hoping I could be shown how to get the rom installed by the experts.
Thanks

Hello, i bought new phone about month ago and i was searching for some custom rom. However, as i found, on the internet is only stock rom. As i searching, i found Android 8 oreo (i also found Android 7 nougat) for Nubia N1 lite, but the point is, the download page is the "scammer" page like you will put there your mobile number and every month, you will get -12€ from your mobile credit.
So, i found this video (under this post) and the guy has in the video title "Lineage os 15". I know, lineage os doesn't official support my phone, but if this guy works, it can works good to me too. So, should i try to install Lineage os 15 without straight support? Is it really dump idea?
Thanks

Is it possible to create an AOSP version of Android Q from the beta version for the HTC U11?
Is it possible to create a driver package for the HTC U11, so that with coming versions that package can be included in building a ROM? Or, was that thought too easy? ?

very much looking forward to
Pixel 2 Series basically have the same hardware as the U11. So it's very possible as long as there is a dev who's interested in making one for U11.
That's why I bought a HTC U11 instead of the Pixel 2 ?
Is there a developer interested in creating one? ?
It's time

With this image, can a ROM being build?
I would love how to learn how to port ROM's & new android versions, I can't find any up-to-date documentation or walkthrough's for Pie or Q , I'm curious how people do it. Can any of the U11 dev's direct me to any information or where to even start?
The thought of running my trusty U11 on Q is enticing, I'm willing to learn and help any dev's out there to get a Q ROM up and running.
I know it must be possible, the HTC M8 has got pie ROM's on the go!:fingers-crossed:
Although the u11 hardware is similar to pixel 2,
But the software has huge differences between Vendor and Vendor.
HTC usually has special drivers, which greatly increases the difficulty of creating a new version of Android.
I saw yesterday a friend with his phone with android 10 installed. I'm really jealous , how is this possible? The only useful information i can find is Lineage OS 17, which is not available for public release.

Not that different as you might think since HTC manufactering the Pixel 2 for Google
Good evening,
First of all please excuse me I am French and poor at English so I hope you would manage to understand me all the same.
There you go, I bought a Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro some time ago.
Rooting is not a problem, however the smali patcher patch is not compatible with all ROMs. I had had the same problem with my Galaxy S7 before I found the right one.
I tried with LineageOS but like on the S7 as soon as I put the patch through Magisk the phone gets stuck in bootload mode.
I just tried with Avoc OS, and same problem.
There are several ROMs that I failed to install on my phone, it is giving me errors. And even bypassing error 7 the ROM simply does not install.
I was told that on the X3 NFC the Deferst ROM is compatible with Smali Patcher.
Do you know a compatible ROM for the Poco X3 Pro please? I'm in 256 GB, I don't know it has an influence.
Thank you in advance
I recently bought a Pad5 Pro. Price was cheap 186€. But i thought it was a black friday sale. When i recieved and c many apps crashing i test devide performance with somo apps. My first afraid was when i detect screensize 10 instead of 11. Then i saw android 10 and i tryed to force to 12 but wasnt able.
Uding some scan apps i could detect firmware was fake to send bad info to device , not snapdragon, real android version is 8.
I will buy another device, but i wann give this one to my 6yo child. Can i update rom and firmware to install android 12 and have the real soecification of device? Hiw its now many apps fail due bad cheking firmware and android.
Excuse my low english level i al not native english.
Regards!!
Try to use GSI

i think you cannot get to android 12 as the scammers never made the image for it.
p.s. it is prob not part of project treble, so gsi wouldn’t work (probably)
Hope this is a good place to ask. I had to get the old Oneplus 7 pro back and Renovate ICE is pretty much dead. I'm not sure if I want to go all the way to Android 12, since I think Oneplus only had it up to 11. On the downloads for Lineage OS though, they only go back to version(s) 19.x which is Android 12.
Help a brother out anybody?
Thanks.

Lineage OS 20, based on Android 13, was only released last month. Give it some time.
Thanks for the reply, but I am asking for an older version that the link(s) for which no longer exist, that I can find.

An older version of what?
I'm looking for version 18.x of Lineage OS which is based upon Andriod 11. It is a custom ROM for the Oneplus 7 pro.

Yes, it looks like they now only support 19.1 and 20 on that device. All 18.1 links are dead.

Part of the reason people install custom ROMs is to extend the support for their device.

True, but without an actual working stock ROM with the actual Android version you want to build for the device, you can no longer extract the /vendor files which leads to some things not working properly. So it's, "Hey look, I've got a version of Android on this phone you won't" with the qualifier "And everything works." Meaning it is a port. I've been using customer ROMS on all my Android phones for about 12 years or so now started with the Droid A855. Hell I used to flash different firmware on the old flip phones before.
And the whole reason for this thread is what you said. There appears to be no links for version earlier than 19.x, so I asked hopping that maybe someone had one laying around they could share or knew of a mirror or other link. I used to save and host lots and lots of ROMs on my personal server and used to link those repositories in my sig here and many other places.
So thank you for your replies.
