My msm tool won't open. No matter how may times I click to open it just won't open. If I click a lot it says running even though its not open. Anyone know what I can do to get this running?

I am trying to use flash tool and I keep getting errors at the end and my phone will not boot up after.
The most recent one said 'processing of modern.sin finished with errors'
Anyone know a way to fix this? I have tried downloading different regions but I haven't managed to get one to flash correctly. I tried running software repair after each try and it fails as well.
Thanks

Yeah I'm gonna side with him. When all else fails, give the msm tool a shot. We're fortunate to have our hands on this inside tool.

Does THE msm tool fix almost everything? Does it make it impossible to brick the device beyond save?

It should fix any issue with this phone. Make sure you get the right tool for your version of the phone. And ONLY CLICK START. There's a few other buttons on the tool, don't click those! I heard someone on this forum say that the other buttons may wipe your efs partition (you don't want that, trust me). So just click start to get it running.
Hi there!
I have experience with unlocking bootloaders and rooting, but I am really really stuck here. I tried following these instructions with this MSM tool to convert it to an Unlocked version. My OP7P is stuck in an endless boot cycle and says "Upgrade download failed! Please check your download flow is right!" I don't like to leave it on the charger for very long because it just reboots endlessly and I don't think that's good for the phone, but otherwise it won't charge. My Windows computer doesn't recognize the device when checking for adb or fastboot in CMD. I can get it to be recognized in the MSM tool by holding the volume buttons and then plugging it in, and the process starts correctly, but fails after 10-15 seconds.
I have uninstalled and deleted and reinstalled drivers countless times. I've tried to follow these directions and these as well with the same results.
This is replacing a broken LG G6 with a non-functioning speaker mode, abysmal battery life, terrible camera quality, and slow performance. My purchase of the OP7P was supposed to solve all of that with a premium smartphone and right now it's just an expensive paperweight sitting on my desk.
What can I do? Thanks so much in advance!
Tool all in one, fastboot mode, flash Factory Images, download stock rom, check wipe all data and reboot after flash
Ya do what he said do. But if using the msm tool open up device manager and plug in it phone and adb reboot edl whatever that command is. Then go to ports on the device manager and check and see if I have the qcom driver installed. I forget exactly what it supposed to say but it has 9008 in it. I am just gonna tell you I have 2 oneplus 7 pro both tmo brand. I converted them. But idk what it is tho. Each time I change phones to flash rom or whatever I do sometimes the way I do it changes. I am firm believer idc what so and so says it may work one way or another. These phones are crazy weird. The processes change like when I flash using the tool he is talking bout sometimes I lose my network sometimes I don't. Some ppl say when u flash twrp using magisk u gotta flash the the twrp zip once in twrp. Sometimes I don't have to. But when I do it says I lose root but I don't. Just check ur drivers and make sure ur using the right msm tool either global or the T-Mobile
I'll try those, thanks! I can't seem to find the T-Mobile stock ROM though.

I'm getting that if I'm trying to use wrong MSM tool on my TMO phone. It has to be one for TMO specifically, not any other universal MSM tool. So make sure you got TMO one.

Did you find a solution for this issue?
Hi xda, I was try to so much msmtool version of oneplus7 but when Im trying to find devices list, I cant see anything. Now my last chance is H2OS msmtool but I don't know what to do if I have a problem with that too. Since I was experiencing the brick state, there was a text QUALCOMM crashdump on the screen, which I couldn't understand why it came out. Now I try this tool event, but although I click on the enum text, no device comes up. I've watched a lot of methods and videos, where am I making the mistake? When I wanted to reinstall the drivers for qualcomm from the devices manager, the message was already installed with the latest version, I deleted it and reinstalled, the situation did not change.

Thanks for interest dude but I solved this problem with daitalos. :good: :fingers-crossed:
I was trying to root my OP7 pro at Android 11 at OS 11.0.3.1 and I accidentally bricked my phone. I tried to download from and unzip it and then clicked flash all but it didn't work. Then, I tried the MSM tool but I think it was for Android 10 and again it got stuck at error: download vendor.img
Also, I have encountered this error Qualcomm crash dump mode dm-verity device corrupted force dump kernel restart. Now my phone is showing this message -
<Error!>
Upgrade download failed!
This is caused by download interruption.
Recommend you use download try again.
You need to confirm if there is failure message on download tool or not when you see this error.
Also please check if you disconnect usb or click stop button when the download is not finished yet.
You can press any key exit this message.
This is the message I am currently seeing on my device. Trying every solution available online and sometimes I am able to see my device on PC but when I open GM1911 I don't see Internal Storage.
hey! I'm not an expert but I also bricked my phone lol
are you able to get into fastboot? Maybe if we work together we can find someone who can help lol
