It's amazing man and very good job, thank you

Thanks guys. I didn't tested if it's working well being encrypted and with/without password. Can someone test if it's working well? Thanks!

Where is your source? I see only a link to a TWRP thread? ?

Looks cool! Does this support vendor partitions / the treblize script?
If not that is certainly an addition you should add to make it a truly all in one recovery because then it can be used for treble roms as well.

No source, only the patch is available for compiling. Reffering to source I was telling that it's based on official TWRP for OnePlus 3/3T.
I updated now first topic. I am only the maintainer for this recovery.

Maybe soon, as now I don't have the time for this too much as I am working at two jobs...

Repacking the recovery after any change "security, theme, etc" causes boot loop of the recovery and unable to obtain logs for that.

For me is working fine. Even an user tested for me and it's working being encrypted. Try reflash the recovery and try again.

I can try to make it, but unofficial. I don't have the device and main devs don't allow me to compile if I don't have the phone to test the recovery.

Hi,
If I try your TWRP can I return back another TWRP as usual?
Thanks

Don't ask for ETA. It will be released when it is ready (and that will be "soon").
The password does not seem to do anything when set. I can go right into recovery without it asking for a password.

In terms of what is visible to the user, for one, it officially supports both Treble and non-Treble. As for the rest, you will get a changelog with the next release.
Would you say there is backward compatibility with TWRP ? Redwolf seems to have created some problem that keeps me from restoring my TWRP backups - even with TWRP without error 70 and 255. Also was having a big problem with Redwolf rebooting the phone in the middle of a restore. It has done this reboot during restore even on several different backups. It can't seem to complete a restore without rebooting. Using those same backups I was able to complete a restore with TWRP and get booted up although I now have no Wifi, FM radio or fingerprint settings.
Would OrangeFox be compatible with Redwolf more than it is with TWRP or ?

One more question if this makes sense : is the fstab in OrangeFox more like TWRP or Redwolf?

We are aiming to achieve as much compatibility with TWRP as is possible (hopefully, full compatibility). This is work-in-progress, but we are well on the way. Watch this space!

The kernel code includes code for ebbg, which means that it should be okay. However, we have not personally tested it on ebbg displays, so we cannot give you a definite answer.

Flashlight is based on Kernel so will fix it by tonight or tomorrow.
For encryption, it already have password protection which works good. So now you can set different password for recovery. Isn't it good.
BTW Thanks for reporting.

Your flashing process, what all you flash, Custom ROM or OOS or based ROMs.

Problem is in your process not in any recovery. Why not flash ROM+Kernel+Gapps+Magisk at the same time. What harm it does. Also magisk has been doing good with v16.4. please update.

Never hepended here, but I know what your talking about.
I flashed stock rom with this twrp,beta 29 I think(latest for op3t),busybox.zip,custom kernel,magisk sistemles-boot was fine,all good.
Also i tried Nos rom,Omni rom, with busybox.zip, magisk sistemles,"open gapps nano" or with "mindthegapps", lots of magisk modules( like V4A,selinux,and many more).
Maybe, just maybe, your MAGISK version is old.
Or your data is encrypted, some roms don't like encryption(like DOTos) and wont show internal storage and have problems with neverendig booting.
Sent from my OnePlus3T using XDA Labs
After the recovery flash (for the first time) coming from the official TWRP tried to format data from ext4 to f2fs unsuccesfully (no encryption). Seems the same error that happens on official TWRP of 2/01. Am i missing some step or it is a bug?
Attached screenshot of the error
EDIT: found another problem(this one is more aesthetic) there is a delay of some second when you select the option "reboot system" after flashing something

Is there addon.d support? I've flashed a few ROMs and never had Gapps or Magisk's addon.d kick in.

I tried to restore a backup I created a few days with this recovery. After restoring, clearing cache and rebooting I return to the recovery. Rom won't boot. When I then restore the backup I created yesterday before trying to go back to the rom I was on before, it all goes well. What could be wrong?

Thank You Too tbh for Trying!:good: also.. you too stay safe!!:victory:
Nice recovery! I want to ask is it possible to add a kcal feature into display settings of recovery? Many Xiaomi devices suffer the screen retention, it would be great to be the first recovery with such a feature

You do realize that this recovery is basically a TWRP with a new UI Overlay? lol
So, functionality is mostly the same. And seems like you didn't get my point regarding not staring at the recovery 24/7.
Any new news?
