I search here for tutorial for joneplus but cant find one for op7p.
Does it work on op7p? If yes, there is any tutorial to make it work?

Using it for a month without root. Just run the adb coomand to enable joneplus and you are good to go. Even after reboot call recorded stick. You only have to run adb command again if u factory reset
What app are you talking about? Or are you talking about the inbuilt call recorder?
you can use it, suggested by xda team

Joneplus is a tool that enable hiding stuff from oneolus including different animatiom speed just like development mode,. Force 90hz all the time and enable the hiding stock app call recorder. No need to root. Theres other setting that require root but what i mention doesnt. Now to enable the app u need to enable with adb command. One time only and all setting stick after reboot. When a call comes in or i make a call i have the icon avail to press and it will start recording that call. Save the entire call in memory when is finish
I have attach a image u can see what im talking about. Im running tmobile firmware. Not root.

with cf-root you can root-unroot with supersu app.
just go in settings --> enable superuser
this hide the root, without reboot.
I use it every day

dont tell me!!! hahahaha
problem is that with the latest OTA upgrade the multiwindows settings have been over-ridden to default, so I lost all non-native multiwindow apps, and the only way to have them back is root
Um, you know...If it is enabled, it will limited some operation. So I want to disabled it? But how to do that?
This should help make the process easier. You'll need root. Download the apk from the provided link and you're good to go. :good:

I thought this was the standard way we've been doing it for months, I know I have.
@Jorge_007 ,yeah, I know this. But you know, I think it is a troublesome operation, because every time I restarted my phone I have to open this app and click that button, I think can use a script to solve it, but I don not know. because I can not find the right scrpit to do this. So, can you help me?

Try this script I found on XDA and see if it sets it to Permissive after boot. If it doesn't work all you need to do is delete it. You'll need Init.d support. There's app on the playstore that emulate Init.d. Remember to install busybox first.

@eemgee ,I mean I have to reboot my phone sometimes.

Well that's a bummer! Are you on the stock ROM or Custom ROM? For the custom ROM I know there are kernels here that are permissible by default. I'm not sure about the stock ROM. Have you looked into doing a soft reboot and see if the selinux policy sticks to what you want?
Here's an app that does soft reboot. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=simple.reboot.com&hl=en
Maybe that'll work. Doesn't hurt try right?
@Jorge_007 I used a stock ROM now.But I don not want to change kernel. Do you have other ways?

I'm not sure why you're having issues. I just installed the selinuxmodechanger app I mentioned earlier and it changes it to permissive after boot.... All I did was check the box show notification. What exactly are you doing that needs selinux to be permissive. Anyways, that's the end of the line for me. I don't know of any other ways to do it. Sorry.

No problem. And Viper4Android doesn't work well on lollipop stock ROM. I've already tried it before. When it does work it only worked for Google Play Music and nothing else. You're suppose to disable Nuplayer in the developer settings for V4A to work at all on lollipop. It worked best on Kitkat for stock ROMs.
I find this solution for enable native call recording.
<CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording>RecordingAllowed</CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording>

make sure busy box is updated? **** maybe Oreo is the issue? not sure if this works on oreo?

oh ****... alright so I found cscfeature.xml though this topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/themes/mod-enable-native-call-recording-s8-t3607196
so for me it is FMC or XAC
so I applied this setting.... it didn't work! I lost the "LTE" on the top and now it just says 4G although I think its still LTE
but I tried again with <FeatureSet> tags.... myphone stopped working! couldn't take any calls!
luckily I reset it and was able to get my calls back... I may have mucked with something... does anyone have extra files for backup?
great... not my native FM radio app via nextradio isn't working... Does anyone have the CSCfeature.XML file? if I Flashed home CSC via odin could I get it working back to normal or do I have to flash the entire firmware back to stock? it appears thats the W verison is acting weird trying to get call recording going...
The methods I've read for Pixel 2 require a PC, but I just don't want setup ADB and all that noise i'd like an app or something to just do it for me without the help of a PC.

There's a magisk module that does it if you have magisk installed.

Yup. Unlocking is super simple if you want to do it. Google has all the tools you need and directions here...

Ya, I've unlocked bootloaders a bunch of time was just hoping there was an app that would do it all.
If you want to do something like remap physical buttons (which active edge counts as) you'll need to either give permissions to an app via adb or you'll need root. Either way you'll need a computer.
I used magisk to install a few tweaks so that my oneplus 6 could install the Google phone app. It's set as default, but doesn't give the option to screen the call. Daydream even runs on it, so the phone is basically a pixel. Has anyone found a way around this?

I actually already have this module, it's how I'm using daydream. It doesn't enable call screening. Not sure how i avoided the bootloop but it ended up working without issues... besides the lack of call screening.

If you read in compatibility he mentioned not for OOS i did not read it & get bootloop & in the end reset my device.Phone boot in 1st attempt but if you uninstall module then you get bootloop 100%
Has it worked for you?
I had "Google Dialer / Phone" app installed and I did some changes in xml config file. Even after that, I am not seeing "Call Screen" option.
Any luck?
