Hi all
I'm having this issue where randomly the touch screen stops registering my touch, and the only way to get it to work is to turn the screen on and off.
Hardware buttons work fine, and I have tries different ROMS.
Anyone know anything about this issue? Thanks

As you said randomly, try use clean stock ROM for days to see if it is jammed by applications or not, I have that problem as well sometimes, due to some apps fully occupied CPU and make everything else non responsive...

the UI might be lagging as well if youre using the noop i/o scheduler.

I'd try the thread for that rom. The dailer may have issues wait for an update or try to reflash? Remember to check md5 sums. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525627
I did no one answered :/ and I read through it and no one seemed to gave this problem

Came here to report that I have the exact same problem.
The only way to "fix" it was a phone reboot. So far, this has happened to me twice within 2 days.
I'm on Stock 4.4.2 and rooted via cfautoroot.
I faced this issue twice in three weeks. I am on stock and have not rooted the device ever so far. I get a call (rings) however I am not presented with the black screen from which I can attend the call. I won't even know who the caller is until the ring stops and check in missed call. Only rebooting fixes the issue.

Hi all,
I am facing a severe problem of call sound not coming from both side...
I am not able to hear ring sound and callers sound while calling someone.
Its coming only on outgoing calls.
I had replacement 2 times from Flipkart for this issue. But still its persist in all device. Have to restart my phone each time to resolve this.
I am fed up by restarting my device 8-10 times a day..
Any resolution any one found.?
I had a big discussion on Motorola official forum. But useless...

Yup, same here, a reboot required.
But fed-up from this while any Urgent call to be made.
But very few people have this issue

Moto officials are only collecting data :cyclops: and doing nothing
Same problem for me too... Every time I restart my phone to get it fix

Hi so I have a issue with my phone, when I call someone and put the phone to my ear, when the screen goes black ( when it realises it has been put against your ear) the touch pad still works and my cheek keeps pressing buttons during calls :/ I've tries it on my partners moto g non rooted and it doesn't do it on hers.. The touch function stops as you would expect until you pull it away from your face to either hang up or press a dial key. Could it be app keep the touch function active during calls or something else??
