I keep seeing articles saying that you can get NFS Shift for free on the "Samsung App Market". What exactly is that? I got a brand new Tab last night and all I see is the standard android market.
It's available in other countries, but not in the US.

As you all know Samsung promised ICS for Samsung Galaxy R, but now thay give a different explanation, like this " Samsung Mobile España...Galaxy R no recibirá ICS ya que no se puede asegurar el perfecto funcionamiento en estos dispositivos. Saludos." in translation " R Galaxy not receive ICS because there is no guarantee the perfect operation in these devices. Greetings. "
My suggestion is to unite together and through social networks show our unhappiness !
I suggest the following:
1. Every day act on different fb page.
2. Put them the same questions until we get concrete answers to us.

Questions that could be asked:
- Why is Samsung not updating Galaxy R to ICS 4.0 as they had promised earlier ? Why are you fooling your consumers ?(Post links to the above mentioned articles as proof but also take screenshots before as they can simply take down that page)
- Why is Samsung back tracking on the updates even though Galaxy R is highly capable of running ICS ? Why are you fooling your customers ?
- If Samsung is updating then what's the schedule and when will Galaxy R get ICS ?
- If Samsung is not updating then give back our money as they are not updating as promised earlier which was basis on which we bought Galaxy R. Ask others users not to buy Samsung mobiles because they cheat & fool users.
Add some idea if you have

I ask : All this is nice, Samsung presents a new model Galaxy S3, etc., but what about the promised ICS update for other models? Samsung has promised ICS for the Galaxy R out, now our comments on what ever Samsung page are deleted and users are baned. Answer: Dear Zeljko, we just launched an update to ICS for S2, we are working on and to come to the other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy R as soon as possible.

just received a phone call from samsung csc regarding to my complaint mail.
the csc guy told me that samsung havent announced ANY OFFICIAL STATEMENT FOR INDIA that they will launch ICS to galaxy R, also they cant provide any estimated time about when will ICS come for our device. and about official ICS announcement for sgr, its on samsung's global and other websites so they cant provide any info on that, they only have details about what is posted on indian page.

as csc guys talked with me, he told me that samsung havent declared that they will launch ICS for sgr in india, its not mentioned on indian sammy website also, so i think indian guys cant claim to refund money but in other countries where sammy have declared that they will provide ICS maybe can claim.
I am looking to sell my iPad and get a android tablet. I have the s4 phone and I love it, I also have a samsung laptop that I love as we'll so I am leaning towards a samsung tablet. What would you guys recommend, I have been looking at the note 8.0 and I have read mixed reviews so what do you guys think?
It's a solid tablet, but it all depends on how useful that S-Pen is going to be for you. Otherwise, if you're looking to get the most bang for your buck specs-wise, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

The $149 Hisense Sero 7 Pro is a great Nexus 7 clone available exclusively at Walmart, and occasionally you can find cheaper refurbs online for about 80-90 bucks. I got mine this June, and it was a great purchase decision! I've just recently rooted it and am running Dolorespark's dopaROM v1.1, which you can read about here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470998 There's also a Kitkat-based ROM called Taktik (get it?) that I haven't tried yet as the camera and mp3 aren't working properly yet, but good news: Hisense just released the kernel source code today, and it looks like ROM development for this tablet is about to really take off! From the first day I got my G2, I was disappointed by the fact that North America LG smart world website was very under developed content wise, compared to the other regions around the world.
one of the most 'BIG' things that I really thought the NA LG store lacked was the number of fonts they had.
I'm Korean living in US, and I check out the Korean LG store time to time.
I noticed that they have more than a thousand(literally) fonts available(either free or paid).
Recently NA LG store got updated and have more fonts now... maybe less than 50, I assume? pssssh.
And these free-fonts on NA LG store, are free in Korean LG store as well. There are no paid fonts on NA LG store.
So what's the difference between free and paid fonts? well, paid fonts tend to look lot better than free ones

Also, they are EXPENSIVE. Korean LG store charges about 2.00~2.50 USD per font, most of the time non-refundable. ridiculous, eh?
I tried to get some Korean LG store fonts, but I couldn't because I needed a phone number given out by Korean phone company.
So I asked my friend in Korea to get me about 10 paid fonts from the LG store.
With these 10 paid fonts, I traded them with other people online through forums and blogs.
I've been doing this for past 3 months, and the number of paid fonts I own has reached 150 ish.
Anyway, I would like to share these fonts.
They are mostly made for Korean(and some of them are in korean), but it works like charm in English as well after you install it :fingers-crossed:
There are so many, I suggest you to apply only small number of fonts at a time, and pick the ones you like, and delete the ones you don't like.

Special thanks to you. I've found my losted favorite font !!
So I recently purchased the ZenFone 2 Deluxe. I have not received it yet. I did do a bunch of research thanks to XDA it was a lot easier. I found out out that there is a lot of apps on the phone that you don't need or have use for. So as soon as I get it I'm rooting that bad boy.
My question or just a general discussion I guess is how does everyone rate the Zenfone 3? From what I read it looks like a killer phone. I wish I researched a little more because I would of waited for that. But only paid $199 for my Zenfone 2 Deluxe.
