Is there an OS function to record phonecalls? Root/nonroot.
Let me know.

You can use that Magisk module called oos native call recording enabler
Im using joneplus from the app store. Call recorder works great. No root. Just need to enable it with adb.

Go to your google app store and download joneplus tools. Is self explained
How about a non OOS method for aosp?
Joneplus is great but the oos keeps killing it even if I keep it in the memory. I am using Bold Beast recorder keeping it also in the memory and works flawless.
xxxNoLimits also enables recording

Weird i have never run joneplus to force to run in memory. Just installed it and added the adb command. Call recorder stick even after reboot. I also have force 90hz mode with joneplus. What at like about joneplus implamantation is that it enable the default oneplus call recording icon to call so it fell like a oem call recording all around.

I even contacted the developer about this and he confirmed the situation. It is really strange. The force 90hz mode with joneplus is more consistent but the call recording gets killed very often.

I am using joneplus now keeping it locked in the memory and using a tasker profile to keep it active even after a restart. It works flawlessly.

Is there any stable Sense Rom that has the ability to skip songs using the volume up and down buttons?
I miss this option and have been trying to get it back.
I am not aware of any rom with the feature. But I don't really look for it either. I use Poweramp on my phone and it has the option for that and it works for me.
Cyanogen 9 has it, and I think AOKP too, but those aren't Sense.

I'm using power amp as well and I can't seem to find this option?
Sent from my HTC One S using XDA
Leedroid (very stable) got an option for that, but it seems to at least not work with poweramp. Didn't try with any other player...

Yep, this option doesn't work for "the running music player" but for the system' one. If you enable "skip tracks" under LeeDroid, it will launch your system app, and plays the next track - so if you're running another player like Deezer, you'll got some problems : both players plying their tracks in same time.
As I'm using CM9... No problem at all, this settings works perfectly for me now
Don't know if an alternative solution exists for the Stock (or Stock based) ROMs.
Hey guys how to do this? To stop the notification pop up for update to 4.4?

The way i did this on my nexus devices was to delete the downloaded update zip file and then launch the update from the notification. It tries to update but gives up as there is no file to update from. I never got another notification.
If rooted you can use greenify app to hibernate 'Motorola ota'. This seemed to do the job for me but didn't test too much as a week later I updated anyway anyway.

I think that tick box is asking whether to display notifications from the playstore for app updates.

the "show notifications" in app settings is related to the notifications of that particular app, not play store updates
if you want to disable playstore update notification. follow this
1. open playstore
2. settings
3. untick notifications
You need to root and then disable Motorola ota app .it wont let you without root.

Hi, I stand corrected. You are quite right. Whether all apps actually adhere to that option is another matter I guess, I wonder if an app can still display a notification even if that box is ticked.

Update to EMUI 4.1 and it should work.
I have a P8 on EMUI 4.0.1 and it works because
they aded the com.spotify.music line to the hw_default file.

I'm using "drupe" for calls and quick messaging via Whatsapp, SMS & E-Mail.
It is able to set the callers avatar as a full screen wallpaper while call is incomming and going on.

On multiple fresh clean setups with no root or twrp and my apps or purchased apps don't show in appstore. They restore just fine and will show in app drawer but not store. Help!
I just noticed in play store settings it says uncertified device.
just used msmdownloadtool back to 5.1.6 and I see the same...………………..but appstore now says certified.

That really doesn't fix the issue for me because I was doing it all night long and it wouldn't clear it up. I would actually have to uninstall one or two of the system installed apps and have it update and then it would show all the apps in the application list afterwards.

What really sucks is that it doesn't take immediately and it's kind of hit-or-miss. I hope I don't have to do it too many times.
