Hey guys what's going on? I was curious if anyone here know why no unrestricted 3g type app exists for android? I would imagine something like this would be doable with root but I havent yet found anyone whose made this. I would find it extremely useful to play certain games over 4G and things to that extent. I'm willing to look into developing this myself if there's no strong reasoning I've overlooked as to why it can't be done.

I'd be willing to consider developing it but to be honest I dot know where to start. Root apps seem confusing to make. I've coded enough where it should be double but Id rather not spend so much time. Anyone on here wanna start. Project with me?

Hey guys, I'm gonna be getting the Sensation in about 2 weeks and I would really like to help out development for the Sidekick 4G in some way. Since I don't have much knowledge in programming, I am willing to help out with giving a Sidekick to the devs here. I just got a replacement for my warranty so the phone is pretty much like new and I won't be using it at all. I don't know how much this phone goes on ebay, and I'm not sure if this is already been taking care of, but I'd be willing to help out.

But, if any other devs think they can get CM7 or CM9 on SK4G better then I can, I yield to them.
Or if you are more interested in getting money for the phone, it's probably better you get money.

I was developing an application over the summer, using the Nexus 4, as part of a workshop designed for school kids. The university is looking at purchasing a bunch of phones to run the workshop on and suggested the Nexus 5 to me as a replacement for the Nexus 4, which I've been told they can't get anymore.
I'd really appreciate it if I could send my APK to somebody and they could let me know a "yep, works!" or a "nope, broken". I think it should work as the Snapdragon 800 claims to support the Snapdragon SDK Facial Processing... but I would obviously like to confirm this before giving the ok to spend a whole bunch of money. It should literally take a few seconds after the APK has been installed.
No worries if not. I wouldn't be all to comfortable installing APKs from an untrusted source either, but I figured it to be worth a shot as I don't presently know anybody with the device to ask!

I had an idea for a game last night, but i have no experience making game applications, or any type of application for phones. I'm really looking for someone that knows how to code to maybe bring my idea to light, i feel somewhat confident that my idea is somewhat original in the sense that i don't think I've seen a game of it's type on the play store. I don't want to give any specifics about the game on here to keep my idea my own for purposes of future advances, if i can find someone capable, and willing to be a partner in this goal i have. please send me a PM on here if you feel capable of maybe dabbling in such a project, and we can possibly discuss further the goals i have for this game.

Its hard to find a person that'll take up such a request. Its possible but I reckon, the best way you can make your idea into reality is by doing it yourself.
I have had many ideas, and I barely knew any coding languages. So I sat at my desk and researched and asked for help with coding. And guess what? I made my ideas into something that can be used. Like the launcher I wished to create.
Give it a go, you'll benefit from it.

I think if i can find someone willing to take on such a request, i might be interested in getting a kick starter going, i'm still working on the layout of what the game is going to be, i have a lot of ideas for the game, it's just selecting and weeding out what i want and don't need.
Sounds like something interesting. I am not that great with game development so I can't help you out here.
Hopefully someone takes up the step to help you out. Sounds interesting.

Thank you man, i think i'm going to give your launcher a try it looks nice, and i like google now/search, but if i get my project going, ill let you test out what i got if you would like.
Not an app.......this is for an actual accessory. I don't know if the path is best to give to Android/Google......or carrier specific. Anyone ever done this before? And if so, did you hear anything back?
I know everyone that makes threads like these has THE BEST idea. Honestly, I think what I have is brilliant and would sell quite well.
