At the moment, the tablet SHIELD stitched Android 7.1.2 LineageOS 14.1
After the firmware, I installed Nvidia games 5.6 version and logged into my Nvidia account, then updated to 5.14 (then gradually updated to 5.21), but GeForce Now does not appear in any way ... But the gamestream works.

Issues after installing OTA 65

Hi anyone else having issues with PC game streaming after installing OTA 65 and the new geforce experience?
streaming steam games worked really well for me before the update, now since the update 80% of the time when i try to launch steam in my shield, it either says cannot find steam or cannot launch steam.
pretty frustrated with this as I was really enjoying streaming games to my shield and being able to play on the couch or in bed.
Same problem here after updating today. SO ANNOYED. Help!
I'm also having the same issue...
Updated to GFE 1.8 and streaming stopped working. There's also no tab for Streaming in the options/settings.
I've removed/installed several times GFE 1.7 and 1.8, removed driver, reinstalled, rebooted PC/Shield, factory reset Shield, etc... Nothing helped.
There's a lot of people with the same issue:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/...after-update-65-and-geforce-experience-1-8/2/
When trying to install the 1.8 update, it failed. I had to manually kill/remove the process/service of NvStream. IMHO, this last version sucks big time.
My specs:
- Windows 8.1 Pro X64
- Core i7 [email protected],66Ghz
- GTX 650 Ti
- 16GB DDR3
- Asus RT-N16 (Tomato Firmware v1.28.7503 MIPSR2Toastman-RT K26 USB VPN)
Thanks,
António.

[Q] Nvidia Gamestream - Older GPU

Hi, I was wondering if it is currently possible to use nvidia game stream using my Nvidia GeForce GT 650m. I am aware that it has been done in the past - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394478

No "SHIELD" Tab in GeForce Experience Preferences

I am having some trouble getting Moonlight to work on my PC. I have had it working before, but now when I go into my GeForce Experience - there isn't the "SHIELD" tab for all of the network streaming options. Did Nvidia remove this tab in the preference Window? Is it still possible for me to stream to my android device?
Some information about my PC:
Windows 10 Home
Intel Core i7-4770k @ 4.1 GHz
16 GB Kingston HyperX RAM
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 100ME
Nvidia GeForce Experience: v 2.10.2.40
Driver Version: 364.51
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling GeForce Experience (including rolling back to a previous version) and I can't get it to work. Thanks for any help in advance!
same issue for me

Running Doom BFG, Borderlands 2, on Portable

Hey Guys -
Does anyone know of a way to mod the OS, installer APK, or whatever else so that games like Doom BFG or Borderlands 2 may be played on the Shield Portable? I've searched for about 30 minutes now but it's difficult as all references I've found have been people playing one of the games via GRID / Nvidia's online streaming and a couple of non-proven claims.
I read one post my Nvidia's staff where BFG wasn't released supposedly because it only got 30fps and understand that the hardware isn't what the tablet has, but would think it would still be possible. I've read many posts before for how to install other apps on devices that don't officially support them so would think it would be possible.
My portable is on the latest image, is rooted, and I own many games as I have a Shield Tablet too, but would love to be able to play them on my portable.
Thanks!
As far as I know, the portable has no OpenGL 3.x - it's only 2.x.
BFG Edition and other games need OpenGL 3.
That's the same reason, most current games published in the PlayStore won't work/install on the Portable anymore.

New to LineageOS. New Nvidia Shield Tablet

Hey guys, I recently bought an Nvidia Sheild K1 tablet from e-bay. It had LineageOS preinstalled on it and so far it's been great. I've had no issues so far, Borderlands and Halflife 2 runs well and I can stream my steam library to the device. But I can't find the native Nvidia keymapper program to map touch controls to my gamepad. The tablet I got didn't come with the controller so I guess my question is dose LineageOS have this feature and if it does do I need the Nvidia Controller to use it?
Far as I am aware, you need the stock NVIDIA ROM (or at least a stock based custom ROM) to use the NVIDIA controller. I think there are a couple threads about folks using alternate controllers, if you search around this device forum section (I personally have not).
I would install the 1controller magisk module that adds .kl files for different controllers https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-1controller-1-module-to-support-t3865889
