This rom improves the battery?
I have a Blu Studio Selfie with the stock rom and the battery is horrible, and what is the best rom to save battery for you?
Bug
I have a problem with the rom, when i´m in youtube and i put the video quality to 480p the image freeze but the audio it´s still working.
P.D: sorry my bad English.
I saw that the Studio Selfie uses the MT6580 chipset, which has a kernel version of 3.10. I'm looking to port CM to my Energy X 2 with the same chipset and kernel version, however since the kernel version is 3.10, there is no device tree, however that's required for porting CM. How did you get around this? Also, where did you get the vendor tree? Thanks
I'm having some problems with this ROM,The camera doesn't allow to choose another storage than internal memory. After I make a phone call, I press back button and it stills in the dial screen.
Other issues i've found is when i connect to another device by using bluetooth, my own one asks me for register as a trustable device and asks me for the pattern to do this, i draw the pattern and i'm asked for it again, again, again,... adn so on

I have a BLU Studio Selfie 2 with Android 6.0 preinstalled. I cannot find ANY method of unlocking the bootloader. I've tried quite literally every method I can find on XDA and the web, and I cannot get it to root. Even though I select the "allow unlocking bootloader" option in Developer Options, when I power on into the boot menu it won't let me use Volume Up to select bootloader mode ... so I can't flash a custom ROM, and I can't backup the stock ROM. I also read on the web that Android 6.0 has more strict methods for preventing root access, so maybe I should downgrade to an earlier Android version first?
Regardless, there is very little I've found through weeks of searching that applies directly to this model phone, and nothing has been successful [yet] in rooting it. Can you point me to a method that might work?

Use ADB and type adb reboot bootloader
That will get you into the bootloader and then you type fastboot OEM unlock. I ported this ROM to my Blu energy x 2 and I didn't need to unlock the bootloader.

When I type "fast OEM unlock", the device says to press the Volume Up key to confirm... but that's part of the problem, this phone won't let me press the Volume Up button, only Volume Down which exits and reboots normally.
I also asked the question about possibly downgrading to an earlier version of Android first, then trying to root. This is based on a disturbing statement found in the post https://www.xda-developers.com/a-look-at-marshmallow-root-verity-complications/ :
"If you want root today, on Android Marshmallow (6.0), you’re going to need to use a modified boot image. While it remains to be seen if this remains true indefinitely, it looks likely to be the case for some time – SELinux changes make it much harder to get root access without modifying the boot image. And as modifying the boot image requires an unlocked bootloader, this could put an end to root (and Xposed and other root features) on devices which are shipped with bootloaders that can’t be unlocked by end users. "
Thoughts?
@uptwolait ...... first install proper adb drivers on your pc as well as mobistel cynus f4 driver .... then turn on oem unlocking from developer options ..... now reboot to bootloader "adb reboot bootloader" ....remember you should run cmd prompt from the folder where adb files are present ..... then when bootloader opens type "fastboot oem unlock " ... now press both vol up and vol down ...... after like 10-15 sec type "fastboot reboot" now let the device wipe itself and reboot ...... finally flash twrp/cwm using fastboot after then phone starts up and going to bootloader option .... command is "fastboot flash recovery (your recovery name.img) .... then fastboot reboot ..... and finally reboot to twrp and flash super su root zip .... thats it

I've been having the same issues. There's nothing online about the phones nor the problem. My guess is BLU bugs the bootloader to prevent unlocking. Nothing we can do I guess
Man .... we can even unlock bootloader of latest phones like pixel , one plus 3T .... then what the heck are these mediatek phones .. .. they have the lowest security .... the process you tried to do may be wrong thats why bootloader is not unlocked ... ...... i guess i will make a video for step by step tutorial to unlock bootloader for blu devices ...... most of people are asking me for that ... wait for 1-2 days
I just thought of something. With smartphone flash tool, you can flash a custom recovery. From there, just flash SuperSU ZIP file and you should be rooted. It doesn't need an unlocked bootloader to flash the recovery.

But I've seen guide after guide. The phone is just physically incapable of being unlocked at the point when you click volume up.
If you use Smartphone Flash tool to flash the custom recovery, and then use your phone's original boot.img in the ROM, you don't need to unlock your Bootloader. For root just flash the SuperSU ZIP and it will generate a rooted boot image and flash it. All that shouldn't need an unlocked bootloader if I'm correct.

OK, so I just emailed BLU about it, and this is what they said:
"We don't support unlocking of the bootloader or tampering of software. Therefore, we will not be able to provide you with any information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused".
So, it basically sounds like they did do something.
Also, this reminded me of another BLU phone owner who could not even get his device to show up in fastboot devices, even after installing the proper drivers.

Team Win Recovery Project For infinix-
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images.
Team Win Recovery Project or twrp for Infinix, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
twrp Recovery, Root method and Firmware is available for all infinix Model including hot, Note, S and Zero series.

Yes, and nothing happens, just an error saying that i need a code/password something like that, I already forgot what its says exactly.
adb devices - the pc found my device
adb reboot bootloader -i dont know if it boots, i only see the Infinix Logo
fastboot devices - pc still found my device
fastboot oem unlock - and the error shows up :crying:
tried also
adb reboot recovery
and I just saw a "No Command" then reboot instantly in a blink of an eye
Is there a command in ADB to unlock it other than the "fastboot oem unlock" command?

May be, we'll have to wait until someone succeeds in unlocking bootloader.
Can't find a scatter file for this. Can anyone help?
EDIT: So apparently no one uploaded the scatter file separately. Had to download entire stock ROM to get it.
Hi, I tried a different guide and failed miserably and am stuck on bootloop atm. anyone help me out?
I posted a separate thread yesterday

got infinix note 4 x572 running oreo 8.1, flashed your provided image, and now when i press power+vol.down it shows a black screen with "factory mode" written in top in yellow, and nothing else, the buttons are not working! i can't seem to get into twrp recovery mode !
infinix zero 4 bricked
why is my infinix zero 4 (based on android 6.0) bricked after flashing your twrp by adb commands you provided in this page? It is always rebooted when displaying the infinix word.

Please I need twrp for infinix s2
Need TWRP For Smart 2 Pro
Recently I bought Infinix Smart 2 Pro. Need help porting TWRP. Your list has missing my device. Update please. Thanks, It will be a great help.
Can you make one for smart 2 pro , please ?
This link and the twrp is inappropriate for infinix note 4
I have tried your link as i am using infinx note 4 and the i tried both methods fasboot and the sp flash tool too. But neither any one of them worked i have successfully unlocked the boot loader and i am running on android 7.0 as it works smoother than its oreo version. I think the link you have provided is inappropriate for note 4 device and the phone boots only on stock recovery and no signs of custom recovery(twrp) so try to make a video or explain us by giving a working twrp file which will 100℅ work on infinix note 4 . because of the stock i can't get access to root nor for custom rom....:crying:
twrp untuk infinix smart 2 oreo
Tolong gan tambahin/rilis twrp untuk di android infinix smart 2 nya, saya tunggu ya semoga cepet di update nya.
Terima kasih.

Just Brick Flash Stock rom flash it fix
I told them that the phone failed to start after a software update. They repaired it in 2 hrs and gave it back. So the motherboard was not fried as I thought.
What happened was that the TWRP recovery you provided has not worked, my device failed to get in to TWRP recovery after I have re-started the phone, So, I tried to flash with other TWRP versions that some people linked to in their posts on Realme U1 on other websites. None of them worked and after sometime my phone went in to bootloop, I got it in to fastboot screen by holding down the power and vol down button and tried various fastboot commands, none of them fixed the bootoop. I finally gave the command 'fastboot oem reboot -recovery' then it switched off the phone.

Bugs:
- The "fastboot boot twrp.img" doesn't work, if you use the hardware buttons to open the blue fastboot bootloader mode. Only use adb, twrp or the android system to reboot into blue fastboot bootloader mode or flash the twrp.img, boot the device, reboot into bootloader and flash the original boot.img back, before booting into twrp.
You can also "fastboot reboot bootloader" in the blue fastboot mode.
This is a bootloader bug, maybe it gets fixed with the stock Q bootloader.
- Decrypt is not working for now (Is probably because the current stock firmware is still on May security patch - will be fixed with June/July patch)
- Touch not working when installed
- Please report any other bugs
Install guide:
Installing is currently not recommended because touch is not working on the installed version!
1. Install fastboot tools from google's sdk on your PC
2. Enter fastboot mode from adb
3. Unlock your bootloader
4. Run "fastboot boot twrp.img" in command line
6. Enjoy it
Optional (if you want to install it):
1. Boot from it (see the guide above)
2. Go to advanced -> Install recovery ramdisk
3. Choose the twrp img
4. Wait
5. You can now boot it with vol- and power button
If it keeps booting into TWRP and not System try
Code:
adb shell dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc

I am having the worst time trying to get this device (i3223 variant) into recovery or into fastboot mode so I can boot into recovery via adb. The device is pattern locked and wasnt adb enabled before hand. I can get to where the light flashes blue after holding vol up while inserting usb but screen is blank then goes to a charging screen. I want to erase and test on this device. Its been a couple days and drivers are correct emma doesnt work and the sony companion wont recognize the device only that its locked. any help?

It's normal, that the screen is black in fastboot mode. If the LED is Blue then it's alright.
When you're in fastboot mode (Blue LED) check the windows device manager, you might install the driver again for fastboot. If it shows a device called "Android" you have to right click it and install the correct driver.
I just got the phone unlocked so i will boot into TWRP and install it and debug the touch. I have the feeling that it might be just missing file.
I just tested the installed version of TWRP and touch works just fine. The TWRP on itself is little slow. Decryption is broken and we see just bunch of junk folders in internal storage as expected.
But decryption shoudlnt be an issue after i bake TWRP into my AOSP images.
Rebooting into OS is totally broken and even cleaning misc doesnt help. Boots to TWRP all the time. Again most likely just an issue that it was not installed in boot.img right away but had to be added.
So about unlocking - my device/version isn't supported to unlock. Any hints?

You cant unlock bootloader. Thats just it. Did you buy the device from carrier ? If so they have usually not unlockable devices.

Sadly I do not think so. We would love another dev helping on SonyOpenSourceDevices or even custom ROMs but sadly if the phone is not unlockable there is nothing you can do sadly. I heard stories of people having carrier phones sim locked and after unlocking that they were able to unlock BT so you could possibly try that if the phone is locked to 1 carrier. If not then there i s really nothing you can do. I'm sorry.
Hi,
first off a big thank you!
I would like to root my xperia 10 plus I4213. I tried to do my homework before posting here, but since I am not knowledgeable on the subject, can someone confirm that these are the right steps:
1. Enable in phone third party apps, unlock developer settings, enable adb.
2. Boot in fastboot mode. That can be done in terminal, not by using buttons as it used to.
3. unlock bootloader . My understanding if that now, that can be achieved either via terminal or via windows newsflasher program.
4. Flash recovery from this thread
4. Boot into system and install magisk manager .
5. Install via recovery Magisk zip.
6, Boot into system and use magisk manager to enable root and set settings.
Should I install latest magisk 20.1 or an earlier version?
Thank you.

We are mainly focus on making AOSP 10 stable now and TWRP is not on top of the list to fix now. And TWRP doesn't support Android 10 yet so we can't even begin.
Hey Team , I Needed A Help. I Recently Rooted My RMX1821 ( realme 3 ) Using Magisk But I Wanted To Install Custom Rom And That Wasn't Possible Without Custom Recovery ( I Mainly Focus On TWRP ). In Hurry , I Flashed My Custom ROM Zip File By Fastboot Using The Command : fastboot flash system (CUSTOMROMZIPFILE).zip . That ... Was My Biggest Mistake Ever. Now , My Device Is Revived By Service Center And Now , I Don't Want To Take Risks . Please Anybody Help In Getting The Correct CUSTOM RECOVERY And Rooting My RMX1821 ( realme 3 ) . [ NOTE : I HAVE MY BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED ]
