About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brank spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind , but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contibutions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! (Just kidding, we got builds over there and a feature-wish bucket too ) Hope you enjoy your stay and taste the Tanginess of our work!

there is no audio fx and no installed animated wallpaper
and to be honest. Who on this earth is still using AudioFX

Yep me too want to know is goodix FP finally fixed.

What about dark/black and white camera recording, volte and charge rate....
Last time I tried majorly all custom roms... and their issues were similar... none of them worked fully stable.... i had to move back to miui 8....

Using Citrus, very buttery smooth AF, camera fully working including WhatsApp video recording, Rom management good but not as Viper, GPS fast, FM radio working, Battery looking strong
Bug : Data working even if data is off
Front camcorder is dark . No problem as it is same for all custom rom.
I must say Viper by Har**** and Citrus are presently two best roms we have.

Best of best
Theres not a single bug till now. Very smooth rom. Its the best rom for land till date. But one problem is that this rom doest have default music player

There is no fingerprint option on my device..

Using this rom from yesterday.It is very smooth.Although it eats 1.1 gb of ram all time,sometimes more than that.Otherwise it is the best stable rom.Love it.Thanks dev!
And a small bug according to me--equalizer is not working(although it is not my problem,as I use Dolby atmos).

My review after using 20 hours.
For me it is OK.
In have faced several issues like signal issue, phone will go to hung state without knowing (again I need to hold the power button to restart the phone).
Signal issue - I am using airtel network only one sim I am using
Attached screenshot.
Battery is OK, sot I got is 2 hr 45 min, I will do trading in mobile so battery will drain fast.
But in RR ROM, carbon, aoisp, aex , dark, legend, DU,ROMs I got more than 4+ hrs sot with trading.
Main issue is phone going to hung state.
For your information I have did clean flash while installing the ROM.
I did not face this issue in another ROMs.

Finally its here!!!
I am using it for a while g8 rom buttery smooth and g8 battery life as it is initial release but still awesome rom

-rom is buttery smooth, really liked the smoothness of rom
-notch behaviour great after disabling syberia logo even after changing dpi
-no lags no fc so far
-passing ctsprofile in magisk withou any module
-syberia theme is lub
-cam working with no fc
-gcam can record 4k videos
-one hand mode works flawless
-the only problem i find in a short time is on edge gestures swipe from both side to back works from top off the screen whereas it should be from bottom of the screen

Could it be firmware related? Is there a particular firmware that you recommend as I'm also having a bluetooth problem.
All things aside I really love this rom as its so fluid.

this is a great rom, the best i am testing the battery is VERY VERY GOOD and the performe EXCELENT in AntuTu have 116393, but have problem with hotspot after of connect pass some minutes system quick restart and have enter pattern, other bugs is when try change of aplication, recent apps are empty. i sorry for me english i from cuban.

Okay so please suggest me a gapps zip for this because I tried flashing aroma and stock version both but they are showing 'Zip corrupt error' in twrp so I can't access the basic functions of the ROM without this. Also I tried flashing MindTheGapps , it worked but when it boots up "Pixel setup has stopped working" keeps coming on screen and no setup is there so that I can configure Google accounts. Please help

Battery backup is decent and can vary with your usage pattern. Don't compare any ROMs please. Read OP to know more about ROM.

We rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. CAF ROMs are therefore generally considered to be more optimized for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs than AOSP ROMs (in performance, RAM management, battery, etc.,). We strive to keep the Pixel Dust Experience as close as possible to Android, as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included. Thanks to all development teams, e.g. ABC ROM, AICP, AOKP, AOSPA, AOSP Extended, BenzoROM, Bootleggers, CarbonROM, crDroid, DirtyUnicorns, Havoc OS, LOS, MSM-Xtended Project, OmniROM, Potatoes Project and PureNexus, we borrowed a few features and tweaks from. Display size looks very cool getting pixel xl feel.
Fingerprint unlock is faster than havoc.
Rebooting speed is ultimate.
ROM optimization for all apps are good.
-Notification/charging LED doesn't work.
-When I chose Second sim for data it automatically switch back to first sim
- double tap to wake screen on lock screen doesn't work
- no option to edit QS rows and column counts
As far I used this ROM these all are the things that I observed. If anything more I I'll update again.

--add unable to change the recent provider to OnePlus, after restarting it's going back to pixeldust launcher again.
- unable to change fonts

Sonal, Can you release ROM without GAPPS? also Evaluation rom too .. if possible.

Next built pls add force full screen for gaming

Bugs:
unable to change the recent provider,
Unable to install pitch black substratum,
Unable to change fonts,
Antutu score is just 110062,
But still have the smooth experience in apps.
Pixel dust rom is for smooth ui experience and battery life. Not for customisation.

Feature request or i may be i can't find it.
1. native Android privacy guard
2.forced expanded notification.
Lastly it is a ultra smooth rom. I switched from havoc and didn't miss havoc. Caf>aosp.

Needs some improvements.
It's a great rom but needs some improvement..
1. YouTube Vanced is crashing.
2. No option to customize QS rows/columns.
3. No system fonts included (I personally want Ubuntu like in Arrow OS)
I switched from arrow because default apps like phone, contact etc were not Gapps in Arrow. So Good Luck
