About Project :Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point. Later, taking into consideration feedbacks of the very first slew of testers and carefully studying the needs and demands of our users, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. Time went by and Nougat released, and we decided that it was time, Citrus-CAF had to see the daylight. We rebased everything to the brank spanking Nougat released. Later we realized the true potential of CAF tags, how each of them altered the device performance on different SOCs. After a lot of thinking, we decided to keep different sources for difference SOCs in our git and hours of debugging later, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get a taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind , but in time, a lot of people joined us, as each giving their own contibutions.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users, whereas we've Cardinal, to deliver minimal customizations, but the greatest stability!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! (Just kidding, we got builds over there and a feature-wish bucket too ) Hope you enjoy your stay and taste the Tanginess of our work!
Out of lemon, with love!NOTE: There's nothing like, "we've decided to keep the customizations minimum, so as to provide stock AOSP experience, but with necessary features", cause this isn't Cardinal. This is Citrus

Le X62x? or X52x
My review after using 20 hours.
For me it is OK.
In have faced several issues like signal issue, phone will go to hung state without knowing (again I need to hold the power button to restart the phone).
Signal issue - I am using airtel network only one sim I am using
Attached screenshot.
Battery is OK, sot I got is 2 hr 45 min, I will do trading in mobile so battery will drain fast.
But in RR ROM, carbon, aoisp, aex , dark, legend, DU,ROMs I got more than 4+ hrs sot with trading.
Main issue is phone going to hung state.
For your information I have did clean flash while installing the ROM.
I did not face this issue in another ROMs.

Got it, ok. Thinking about it, only have fc in old apps
The lockscreen need much drag to unlock. ¿There will be an update for the rom?

That happens with all roms based on CAF.
By the way, is it possible to have a version for Peregrine?

Very thanks for the answer.
PD: Aguante Argentina
If I had to choose a nougat rom for this cell phone, it would be this one. It is the only one that stays fluid. Is this rom going to be updated to 7.1.2?

About Project:
Citrus-CAF, unlike the name suggests, was initially based off CyanogenMod, in the early days of Marshmallow, we even had another name at that point.
Out of lemon, with love!
NOTE: There's nothing like, "we've decided to keep the customizations minimum, so as to provide stock AOSP experience, but with necessary features", cause this isn't Cardinal. This is Citrus

I wish any one can take ScreenShot and Upload them to this thread fro revew
thanks you.
Wow 30th September build use velvet kernel,
Did you do anything on velvet kernel to fix the random reboot problems? Its not a rom issue for sure. Happens on various ROMs.
Good job on the ROM~
Does this have round icons?
Niceeee. Finally it appears on xda.:good::good:
Screenshot
Waiting for review ?
I have been using this ROM for a couple of hours. Geekbench score 866 (single core) and 4200 (multixore). Everything is smooth. No random reboot (to be confirmed). Customisations are good and usefull. Camera is average. Sound is loud enough. Charging speed is comparable to miui. ROM is not prerooted so I use SuperSU.

Going to check it.. another rom added to the list of land...thanks devs...
One question is video calling have any bug in this build...?
Finally ??? thanks dev ?
Using Citrus, very buttery smooth AF, camera fully working including WhatsApp video recording, Rom management good but not as Viper, GPS fast, FM radio working, Battery looking strong
Bug : Data working even if data is off
Front camcorder is dark . No problem as it is same for all custom rom.
I must say Viper by Har**** and Citrus are presently two best roms we have.

Best of best
Theres not a single bug till now. Very smooth rom. Its the best rom for land till date. But one problem is that this rom doest have default music player
There is no fingerprint option on my device..
Using this rom from yesterday. It is very smooth.Although it eats 1.1 gb of ram all time, sometimes more than that.Otherwise it is the best stable rom.Love it.Thanks dev!
And a small bug according to me--equalizer is not working(although it is not my problem,as I use Dolby atmos).

Thank you for your work. The ROM looks really great at first sight!
Unfortunately, however, I have already found the first bug. Every time I connect the device to the PC via USB to transfer files, it either ends up in Qualcomm CrashDump Mode or restarts. By the way, it doesn't matter if USB debugging is enabled!

I will fix it with next update. A few others also reported the same. Though I don't face the issue with or without adb.
Any luck on verizon?
can anyone please explain to me why AOSP roms have lower brightness and volume than OOS?
I confirm that this rom works with Verizon. My experience is good so far.
Update:
File on MEGA
mega.nz
Changelog:
Switch kernel to crdroid kernel. This should fix issues related to crashdumps.
Fix sys ui crash when fod overlay is shown

No worries! Just making sure, as I hit one snag since I Installed last night. (Enabling/switching the wifi calling setting) - eventually crashes 'settings'
Nice work on the ROM. Runs smooth

Well, it's very simple why so:
For the Brightness: i'll be honest, i didn't see that much difference from Oxygen OS because, well, my Brightness Is 25% or less for the entire day, but i do think that might be a Rom particular implementation...
For The Volume: this Is a simple answer, this Is because custom roms don't have Dolby Atmos and this causes the volume of the device to be lower and muffled in custom roms (to fix this you can flash the Dolby Atmos R magisk module (It has an official GitHub Page "Ryuki") and you Will have a volume Like the Oxygen OS One (maybe a Little higher, aaaand more than that you Will even have the Razer EQ!). The only problem of that mod Is that It disguises your Phone as a Razer Phone 2 but (apart maybe the Google Assistant 2.0, if you have It...) doesn't break any Google / Pixel features!

Hi, I am yet to try your rom, but look forward to. - By pure curosity, which build enviroment do you use? - Docker, or directly on ubuntu?
