Had anyone tried recording with the headset mic?

Hi guys,
has anyone tried recording in hifirecorder or default voice recorder using the headset microphone?
Its choppy this side, just want to confirm if its the case with me only or all the handsfree coming with the phone has same issue?

Hi, yes, i checked it and it works, records through mic in headset.
For me the sound is ok. I can send it you the record if U want.

Does your call recording app work on bluetooth too?

There have been questions about which call recording app works before.
This is a bit different:
To everybody using working call recording: Does it work perfectely on normal (phone at the ear), at speaker and bluetooth?
I had the problem on other phones that CR does work on normal but not on bluetooth.

Microphone problem video recording

hey all, i saw that the not working mic is a common problem. i've managed to fix the incall mic with this fix http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...fix-low-mic-call-t3055661/page19#post66289208
but i cant hear a thing while recording video or just recording with the voice recording app.
i found out that the mics do work but only if the sound is facing directly at them and from close range only.
can anyone confim this/ experienced the same problem?
and if anyone have a solution to share it would be great.

Microphone issues?

Hi. Does anyone else have issues with their mic. My phone call and whatsapp voice audio is poor. It's not a hardware issue as other apps work perfectly. It's there anyway I can tell an app which mic to use if I'm rooted? Even if you can let me know if your mic works fine and what build of oxygen os you're on, that would be a big help. Thanks!

RN7P no stereo audio in video recording

Hello. I've run into a strange problem on my RN7P (running on latest stable miui 12 release). When I record a video through either the stock camera app or 3rd party camera apps, the left and right channels of the audio get summed to mono. I used to be able to get stereo audio before but suddenly this happened.
I tested the native voice recorder app and that still gives me proper stereo audio with no problem, and so the issue is definitely not with the microphones. This mono audio problem happens only when I record videos.
Is there a setting somewhere that I messed up? There are no audio settings on the stock camera app and in the 3rd party app (Open Camera), I have the audio settings set to stereo which still doesn't work.
