When I'm using a Bluetooth headphone the pause button works only on the very first time I sync with the Nexus player. After disconnect the headphone and reconnect without reboot the device the pause function doesn't work.
To fix it I need to reboot the Nexus Player.
There something can I do to fix it permanently?

I'm looking for an app for my Evo. I use the phone as a music player and when I make a phone call with bluetooth, I get the music full volume in my ear and I can't hear the phone's prompts. I'm looking for an app that will mute the music when I press the voice dial on the bluetooth. And then restore the volume when I disconnect the call.
Anything like that out there?

Bluetooth Volume
I created an app that might help. Its called Bluetooth Volume.
It adjusts the volume when you connect and disconnect a Bluetooth device.
It sounds like you want something that that changes the volume when a call happens instead of a Bluetooth device connects. I'll consider adding that feature.
There are some hardware for music player (5 buttons: Play / pause, next, previous, volume + / -) Connect via BT or Jack?
Not important: with the microphone to answer calls.
I think You should rather connect via bluetooth, phone supports A2DP, but jach connection won't be fully functional. Maybe just some things, like volume...
jack only supports play/pause as far as i know
Headset Control
Jack supports also "next".
I tried it with the stock headset.
For "next you have to doubleclick the play/pause button.
Ye but it's the same command given, the software translates it differend cuz it's a double tab

When I push the headset button once, it starts and stops the song. When I double tap it, it calls my last call... Is there anyway to get it to go to the next song, like on the iPhone...? Thanks.
I use JAYS Headset Control. It gets a little wonky on occasion but turning it off, then back on to easy mode fixes things.
My HOX always seems to drop the media volume to 0 whenever I connect it to my headphones (or when it disconnects)
Anyone figure a way to tel it to leave the volume the hell alone? I like it to pause when I disconnect?
It does this with my Bluetooth headphones as well. I just added "media volume 100" to my NFC task tag is use when I get home and take off my headphones.
Hello,
I'm using single button headphones from Samsung. When I'm listening to music on Play music when I press the button it should pause/play music, but when I press it turns up sound volume. Is there are any ways to make it work properly?
Update: I tried same headphones on other device and button does what it should do. It's some kind of phone related issue.
It's happen sometimes, You need to clean the hole when you put in your headphone.
