I switch from the Wildfire S to the HOX Yesterday.
I use the Nova launcher with CM 10 Nightly.
Any Ideas as to how I could get a soft Menu button?

Answer to your specific question:
Settings >> System >> Hardware keys >> Enable custom actions

Thanks, Was ripping my hair out.
You need to have root permission!
those features was included in the s4 but samsung turned them off!go to system/etc/floating_feature.xml
change these values from FALSE to TRUE
Features are colored with RED
ALLSHARE :

to enable ToolBox do this :
you need to download sql editor from play store then go to settings storage > settings.db > system > search for toolbox > edit toolbox_onoff > change the value to 1 > save and reboot

Guys for toolbox working sure not enabled on setting after u change from false to true & u need to enabled on toggle by sqlite for use it okay u can see my guide on N3 forum how u can use it

For ASUS Screenshot+, kindly download Shortcutter app and QuickShortcutMaker from Google Play Store.

If Play Store says "Item not available/not available in your country", kindly download APK from other sources.
After that, open Shortcutter app, grant root access and create a new tile by tapping 3 bar menu> Pull-Down > Custom Tiles > Custom Tile #1 > Shortcut > Activities > Screenshot+ > .LaunchActivity > Create. Now you can do long screenshots by tapping on the tile in quick settings
OR
You can install Tiles app (paid) from Google Play Store
After that, grant root access and create a new tile by entering Activities > Activity #1 > Activity > Screenshot+ > com.asus.stitchimage.LaunchActivity > 3 dot menu button > Save. Now you can do long screenshots by tapping on the tile in quick settings
OR
You can use Tasker app. Just create task "Run Shell" and put command "am start com.asus.stitchimage/com.asus.stitchimage.LaunchActivity" (also mark "Use Root" box). Now you can create any profile triggering the task or add it to Quick Settings Task in Preferences > Action tab. Thanks to @Lord Sithek for this alternative method :good:

Same problem. I'm on NOS, too. It's incompatible, I guess.

Do you any kind of battery saver mode enabled?
Are you using any kind of RAM management apps or task killer apps?
Do you have some kind of "performance optimizing" settings enabled?
If so, these kinds of things would/could disable that feature.

I only use Lspeed for increasing performance every now and then
And also I fixed it by downloading app ops root permission manager and gave permission
i recently found a solution for this , you just need to systemize the app you want to give the permission of draw over other app

Overlay apps are no longer supported in Q and up is my understanding.
They run fine on Pie.
