Is there an easy way to get the sound files off my Honor 8? I got a new phone and kind of want to keep using the stupid notification sound and maybe a ringtone or two. Are they accessible via the file manager without root? Or can they be pulled out of a firmware download?
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
Mny of these ROMs are awesome, however, one common issue I have is that the phone sound is a littele low. To fix this, on some ROMs like RRE, I can replace the flashed AudioPara3.csv version with a "hacked" version of the AudioPara3.csv.
Apparently though for the At0M ROM, Energy ROM, I cannot change the file attributed that allow this AudioPara3.csv file to be replaced, using TC file manager, I can edit the arhs values, but NOT the IN ROM setting.
So, am I doing somehting wrong with this AudioPara3.csv file or is it possible the ROM cooks to make the AudioPara3.csv NOT in ROM so I can edit the attributes that will allow it's replacement.
Thanks,
Mike
i've used both of these roms and im still using the latter, i've had absolutely no problems copying a newer hacked file and overwriting the one inside the rom.
try my cab and see if it works for you, it includes the audioPara3 that i find comfortable using, i believe it's the original stock one.
I still think the sound in my ROM is not loud enough, anybody got a csv file that's REAAAALLLY loud ? I want it to blow my ear off....

here you go, my collection(I did not create the files )
3 folders named by volume level.
I always use the loudest+distortion and turn down the volume.
notice it's a RAR, just remove the ".cab" ending
help
ok so i got the htc touch pro and the preset callvolume is way too low unless i turn on speakephone....I have downloaded the audiopara3 file and unzipped it...how do i get it to my phone? do I just drag it to my mobile device
copy it into the Windows folder on your phone and it will overwrite the existing one. You can always copy the existing one into another folder in case you wanna go back
You can catch mine i think it's the best one

when i replace audiopara3 there is no effect can someone please help me
I cannot copy the new audiopara3 file to my Fuze because the old file on the Fuze is read only and will not allow the new file to overwrite it. Any suggestions?
How do I install an RAR file?

You don't take .cab off the end so it will be volume.rar unzip it now you have the files you need and follow directions above to overwrite.

I know I'm necro-posting here; but I can live with that
Your AudioPara3 was the only one that really worked on my Fuze. Thanks very much.
Does anyone know the file structure of a SportsTap installation? I am trying to find the notification sound file so I can replace it but so far have been unsuccessful. Thanks!
Bump. Still trying to find this.
Anyone? Beuller....
Hi, I’m looking for a way to update a file (override it if need be) on the SD Card from an email attachment with one click, sort of like a Batch file in windows.
We have 50 tablets at work and every now and then we need to update a price list file. Most of the users are not Too bright and cant copy from the attachment and then navigate to the correct folder and then paste the file in. I would like to know if there is any way to automate this like a batch file in windows, is it even possible.
All tablets are using 4.2.1 and are Asus TF300T and NOT Rooted. I usually email the updated file then have to spend 15 min with EACH person holding their hand to update it. Any help or direction to a thread with something similar would be very appreciative
Nobody ever had the need to do this ??
Ok if this is not the correct spot to post this question, then where should i ?
i am using ls996 sprint model 5.1
i was trying the sound and camera mod but now there is no sound i had backed up my own sound and camera file when i tried the new mod when it didn't work i put my own files back but now there is still no sound.
Please somebody help me.

i am saying this because
at the start the mixer paths file used to appear at the right edge but now some other file appearing there and the mixer paths file has moved a one space left.
can somebody send me a snapshot of there system/etc/ folder files so that i can know which file is missing and request some to upload them.
can somebody upload there cameraconfig, mixerpaths and media profiile file plzzzzzzzz for ls996 from system/etc.

Served!
If not work, I could give you the zip of my folder. ( It has some modifications) But only if it is really necessary because the folder has a lot of files . (More than 5500 files and +70MB)
And you should be more careful because if it dies, it is almost impossible to recover , only the service of LG can revive him , and if you live outside the United States ( like me), you're screwed .
It may not work ,atleast if it is similar to my case ( i tried replacing lg g4 camera to flex 2)
1)Flash your backed up system/rootedsys img
2)Format from the recovery.
And you are back again . Replacing original files or any kind of changing the files , permissions didnt worked for me!!
update :: sound works in my beloved coc and other games don't know y but it works after replacing the files with the ones maucvs uploaded but no sound for alarm and incoming call. Why is this phone so technical.
Bringing phone to stock is the easiest in samsung this is the only thing i'll praise them for.

Hello, is anyone able to extract stock ringtones and notification sounds from s22?

That needs either someone with a rooted S22U or available download update packages to extract them from.
Both are probably pretty scarce at the moment, but time will change that I hope
I downloaded firmware from sammobile, is there any tutorial how to extract them?

Don't know if there is a comprehensive tutorial that covers it all
Assuming the packages are the same as for the S21U:
The downloaded packages (I assume .tar.gz) can be easily unpacked, finally giving .img files. These you need to extract using first an SIMG2IMG-Tool and then finally a tool to decode/extract the images.
On my S21U the audios are at /system/media/audio
I found this video in YouTube
There is a link in description box to download both stock ringtones and wallpaper stock
I use a "root explorer" app to navigate to the system audio folder in read only / no root mode. Then i can copy to user storage for use elsewhere.
How i can have sync vibrations patterns from s22ultra to my s9??
It s posibile?????
I do not think so, but you should ask in the S9 forum.
