Wow! Thanks once again for another Rom to try on our trust Nexus 7 2013. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You havent by any chance seen a Evolution X port for this tablet have you? Ive had a search on google, sourceforge and the like for an unofficial, and even had a quick read up on how to do it myself but it is beyond my tech know how. It made project of the month for August in sourceforge so seems to have a huge following. Lots of Q based features from what I have read, but is pie based.

No there is no evolutionx port for the nexus 7 2013 and that ROM is really difficult to build so I'm afraid i'm going to have skip that one. The only ROMs I figured out how to build are those that mostly are based off lineage. But I am still trying to bring more ROMs to you guys and girls even the aosp ones so there's something for every one to try I only have one computer with Ubuntu so that's why I don't make so many builds all the time but every day I try to make or update a rom. Tomorrow I will get crdroid pie updated to the newest version hopefully and I will be updating all of my other ROMs within the next couple of weeks. To be truthfully honest I get lazy and forget to update my threads with the new builds so hopefully I can stay on top of that now that my mental health is better
I want to move on to AEX from RR it seems not updating anymore...
Im little confused here, whats the main diferences between this AEX and the other one??

Google services keeps on crashing. Apps from google play like google chrome don't install. Says it can't be installed.
First time it didn't even let me sign in, said it doesn't have connection to google servers.
I was connected to working wifi.

This ROM is much smoother than Oreo. Love it! As I understand, no more new builds expected? Will be good if it come with updated security patch. Big thanks anyway!

A Huge shoutout to @Njishi for testing the ROM! Not having the device myself, he is the one who helped me out with everything!
So. The bugs(Present in LOS 14.1) are:-
1). Device force reboots after setting first fingerprint, no matter when.
2). Force reboot after toggling airplane mode (occasionally)(2/3 times)
3). Force reboot after soft reboot!
4). Flashlight works (1/2 times of total attempts).
5). Video recording force closes with stock camera application. You can use 3rd party apps (Open Camera working).
Fixed:-
1). VoLTE working.
2). Hotspot working.
3). Screen recorder working (Du recorder) (Az screen recorder still not working).
4). 4K videos 60Fps playing.

I have just flashed the ROM but i cant find option to disable hardware buttons. You can only enable software buttons.

I have encountered a weird problem ..wheneven we try to unlock the phone via fingerprint scanner if it fails to match the fingerprint then it will not look for further prints ...so we have to match the prints in one go otherwise we cannot unlock the phone via fp scanner...
Is this attached screen shot from AOSP Extended, if yes then how to get the same in our phone.
Becoz i have install the AOSP Extended but i have not found this type of incall ui in our ROM.

remove fingerprints, then clear cache, dalvik cache reboot and reconfinger.

You have to install either stock or some gapps package with Google contacts app, phone dialer and phone call ui. You can use Gapps based on 7.1.1. arm 64 stock version. It will give you a feel of having a pixel.

If you want any bug to be fixed please write here on xda in detail. Give Logcats, mention your device name, mention if any mods and kernels, if used and please be specific about it. By helping us, you are helping yourself too.
1) Camera is buggy and camera related features like Flashlight is buggy. Use OnePlus Camera for better Performance .
2) For Goodix support you need a kernel with Goodix code. So I suppose you should flash a correct kernel and as Goodix isn't supported till now, I can't help much. But it's in my mind to make a patch for it.
3) Use USB tethering from QS tiles.
Use GoogleCamera or OnePlus Camera.

USB tethering not working for me. Sorry no logs. I flashed crdroid right after.
The display stutters badly when light light is on
sometimes proximity sensor doesnt work when in call phone is removed from the ear, display doesnt switch on
ambient display is not working for me
Can you help me with another thing, it might not be ROM related but i cannot restore using titanium backup in this ROM
this ROM has better battery life than many others
it is very stable with no restart, force close etc. and extremely smooth(with no nigh light)

yes, even proximity sensor is working but stops after some time when in call, as if it has dozed off. ones you press power button to light up the screen manually, proximity sensor starts working again for some time

Im on DU now and i dont need to customize the buttons. Just simply lower down the volume and it goes to vibrate, silent then sounds.

The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. Does this rom support music seek through vol. buttons
Is there an integrated solution to change the hardware buttons?
I heard the "do not disturb" don't have the option to deactivate after the hours we insert. Can someone test it please?

Unfortunately not. I'm also missing this feature, hopefully it will come back.
Navbar is no option. Our device has hardware keys, so they should be used. If I wanted on screen buttons I would have bought a Pixel.
So using on screen buttons is an option but not the solution ?

A good and right answer. It just has not been added feature.
When Jio Sim is active in any slot, can't make calls from another SIM, be it Airtel or Vodafone. Was having the same issue with Cardinal's latest build also.
Please talk about rom self...
Will try it to see if the problem China Telecom sim can't use 2G to call anyone is solved. Seem was broken when volte fixed.
If still not, I will get log to report.
I am now on pixel but Find it very annoying that swiping to pick up the phone (answering call) is not working very well. Does this ROM have this also?

It's a problem in every 8.1 build.when you set data to jio sim you can't make call from another sim. But no developer or expert have answer of it why this happen. It's a mess in network setting..When you change anything for sim1..It's automatically change for sim2 also. If we have separate setting for both Sims then we able to set both the sim differently...But in case of 8.1 it not happen.when I manually set network to tata for sim1 then in jio slot network setting it also change to tata and not stay at jio.
When developers look after deeply in network and sim setting then they easily figure out from where the problem occurs....But as of now everybody busy to bring a half backed Roms...But all Roms are useless if basic thing like call from both sim not happen.

It's because I'm such a fan of this ROM, that I'm anxious to see everything working, it's going to be my 8.1. It was one of the best Nougat. From what I've tested, only these three most serious problems affect ROM, otherwise, it's perfect. Congratulations to the developers!

Thank you. Is camera lag bug fixed too?
I did a clean flash and brightness slider is not working, it slides but brightness is always stuck at maximum. Also, navigation bar is disabled by default (I wonder why). Going back to AOSP

I am facing the same issue. Also ui is lagging sometimes.
Is magisk working on this new build?

Volte works after you flash VoEnable in Magisk module
I have found the problem regarding the brightness slider. I am working on improving the trees. I'll provide a new build as soon as I finish doing the device trees stuff. Sorry for the trouble!
