Is there an integrated solution to change the hardware buttons?
I heard the "do not disturb" don't have the option to deactivate after the hours we insert. Can someone test it please?

Unfortunately not. I'm also missing this feature, hopefully it will come back.
Navbar is no option. Our device has hardware keys, so they should be used. If I wanted on screen buttons I would have bought a Pixel.
So using on screen buttons is an option but not the solution ?

A good and right answer. It just has not been added feature.
When Jio Sim is active in any slot, can't make calls from another SIM, be it Airtel or Vodafone. Was having the same issue with Cardinal's latest build also.
Please talk about rom self...
Will try it to see if the problem China Telecom sim can't use 2G to call anyone is solved. Seem was broken when volte fixed.

It's a problem in every 8.1 build.when you set data to jio sim you can't make call from another sim. But no developer or expert have answer of it why this happen. It's a mess in network setting..When you change anything for sim1..It's automatically change for sim2 also. If we have separate setting for both Sims then we able to set both the sim differently...But in case of 8.1 it not happen.when I manually set network to tata for sim1 then in jio slot network setting it also change to tata and not stay at jio.
When developers look after deeply in network and sim setting then they easily figure out from where the problem occurs....But as of now everybody busy to bring a half backed Roms...But all Roms are useless if basic thing like call from both sim not happen.

A Huge shoutout to @Njishi for testing the ROM! Not having the device myself, he is the one who helped me out with everything!
So. The bugs(Present in LOS 14.1) are:-
1). Device force reboots after setting first fingerprint, no matter when.
2). Force reboot after toggling airplane mode (occasionally)(2/3 times)
3). Force reboot after soft reboot!
4). Flashlight works (1/2 times of total attempts).
5). Video recording force closes with stock camera application. You can use 3rd party apps (Open Camera working).
Fixed:-
1). VoLTE working.
2). Hotspot working.
3). Screen recorder working (Du recorder) (Az screen recorder still not working).
4). 4K videos 60Fps playing.

I have encountered a weird problem ..wheneven we try to unlock the phone via fingerprint scanner if it fails to match the fingerprint then it will not look for further prints ...so we have to match the prints in one go otherwise we cannot unlock the phone via fp scanner...
Is this attached screen shot from AOSP Extended, if yes then how to get the same in our phone.
Becoz i have install the AOSP Extended but i have not found this type of incall ui in our ROM.

remove fingerprints, then clear cache, dalvik cache reboot and reconfinger.

You have to install either stock or some gapps package with Google contacts app, phone dialer and phone call ui. You can use Gapps based on 7.1.1. arm 64 stock version. It will give you a feel of having a pixel.

Speaker always on issue
Yesterday I flashed my GM 5 plus with AospExtended and latest OpenGapps. ROM is great except one issue: When I phone somebody, or they call me, sound is always on loudspeaker, and I can not transfer it to regular earpiece. I did not any customization, it worked like that out of the box. I flashed back LineageOS, but I would flash AospExtended back if you need more troubleshooting.
One more thing: link for BeanGapps is leading to AospExtended download. Can you check it, too?

I'm happy this OS is feature-rich, but it's kind of sad that I can't call privately anymore (Calls always go on loudspeaker)... I'd be happy to use this version of AOSP once this gets resolved though. By far a great ROM!
Been using the ROM for longer than a week and unfortunately music too goes both via the speaker and headphones. I'm again happy to help debug and elaborate on any of the issues right now, I want to keep using this OS but it's kind of a drag I can't call or listen to music privately.
Will there be any update on the speaker problem? I'd much want to use AOSPextended as it's got just the features I need, and I'm kind of bummed I can't use it... Again, I'm freely available to help debug if any is needed. I very much wish to be able to call and play music properly on this ROM.

Reporting Bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

if any one else has got this error while changing the data from sim 1 to sim 2 and getting error unable to search network then the only possible solution is to irst root your phone .
then install network guru apk
then switch the data to sim 1
after that from the options menu select lock bands
then it will ask for gsm,wcdms,lte
select each one by one and enable all the bands which are unchecked.
now reboot the phone and your problem will be solved... this is the only working solution

Root access must be present in developers option else if not present then flash old twrp recovery with version after flashing this aosp rom and then u can flash the supersu

I have had problems with ROM. When the device is locked and you want to unlock it, the screen turns on but in a dark background. However, it is appreciated that it reacts to touches but there is no image on screen more than the dark background. I have the k33b36, any solution? :C

Yes, Brazil variant bugs no ROMs will work good on your variant because Lenovo provided an incomplete kernel source which misses some part of code of the panel variant which you have got
I'm trying my best to fix it, hold your horses for a while with stock ROM.

It's because I'm such a fan of this ROM, that I'm anxious to see everything working, it's going to be my 8.1. It was one of the best Nougat. From what I've tested, only these three most serious problems affect ROM, otherwise, it's perfect. Congratulations to the developers!

I did a clean flash and brightness slider is not working, it slides but brightness is always stuck at maximum. Also, navigation bar is disabled by default (I wonder why). Going back to AOSP

I am facing the same issue. Also ui is lagging sometimes.
Is magisk working on this new build?

Berriliyum ships prebuilt vendor but since we need vendor patches for Pie hence we won't be shipping prebuilt vendor. Let's hope XiaoMi releases Pie.

Is the feature list from Android Oreo or Pie? I'm asking because of DUI (fling/smartbar/pulse). It's on the feature list but I don't think its true.
@xdatman do we need to flash latest firmware before flashing the rom？
Everything is greate, but it has an issue. That is data sim switching bug. When i change my data sim from sim 1 to sim 2 then reboot device, it turn back to sim 1. Please fix soon.

Pie nav bar?
installed the ROM, feels very smooth, great work for now but I have a suggestion: can the default launcher be kind of a lawnchair one with the search bar on the bottom and recents with the same thing (search bar and suggested apps on the bottom)? I like the ROM but I've spent WAY too much time trying to get Lawnchair working well to have the launcher similar to the one in Pixel Experience..
p.s. if you need help with italian translation (I've noticed there are many things in english) I am very happy to help!
