problem in quick settings tiles.... - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

There's an empty space above 1st row of quick settings tiles.
Everything was perfect but suddenly that empty space appeared n I'm unable to get rid of it.
I'm using renovate ice 4.0.
Have no substratum theme altering with quick settings.
I've tried uninstalling renovate ice module.
Tried wiping cache.
Tried rebooting.
After rebooting, it's all good as it's supposed to be but for couple of seconds. Then again, the gap appears.
Anyone has any solution to this problem???

Green guy on my lockscreen

I downloaded and installed a clear lockscreen with the green android guy on it. I'm trying to switch it back to the full clear lock screen, and I seem to be having trouble.
i downloaded and installed the clearlock 1.1 from fresh, and he's still there!!
can anybody help? thanks.
Check out the pre-kitchen package, it has a utility to purge the lock screen cache.

Just reflash the Rom. You'll keep all your settings and it should be all clear.
That should do the trick
The fix: grab the new clear lock screen. Noj made the android guy green lock, and he also made a couple of clear locks to wipe it: http://geekfor.me/kitchen/lockscreens/

Clock In Notification Bar Not Updating...

Hi all,
Just flashed Revolution HD 3.6.5, installed all my apps and got everything the way I like it and ive just noticed that the clock in the notification bar doesn't seem to update in line with all the other clocks on the phone.
Once I reboot it updates to the correct time but then lags behind again. Tried clearing data but no luck.
I want to try and avoid a factory reset if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Chrome to Phone - Black Screen on Setup

Anyone else having issues with Chrome to Phone on the Skyrocket? After connecting to my account in the app, it goes to a black screen with only the status bar visible and freezes. I have to press home multiple times and wait a few seconds for it to catch up before it lets me exit. I have wiped data and re-installed to no success.
This is on boneSTOCKeteer, (deodexed Rogers Stock).
Thanks.
It's worked fine for me on multiple ROM's. Currently SkyICS.
Try clearing program cache and a reboot?
Could be a problem on your Google end of things too. Check out your Google Chrome settings page.
No such luck. Now it seems to even have issues communicating with Google.

[Q] Launcher keeps crashing, icons frozen

After about 4 months of being rock solid, my Transformer has started acting up this past week. After about a day of use, the homescreen will freeze up, stop responding to touch, and then have to be force-closed. After Launcher restarts, it will immediately crash again. During this crash cycle, I am unable to launch any new apps - however, I can switch between my already open apps using the "Recent Apps" button, no problem - they will even run perfectly for hours. But to launch new apps, I have to reboot. (NOTE: this is different than the well-known issue where the homescreen icons disappear, but swiping/touching still works. In my case, the icons and widgets are just "stuck" there.)
Things I have tried: Cold boot, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, change to static wallpaper. (problem still recurs)
I am using the same ROM/kernel/OC/UV settings that I always have (1.2 GHz, -25 mV on all).
I'm stumped. Anyone else see this?
I have the same kind of issue since 3 days ago. Launcher crashing, no icons on desktop but can switch between empty desktop. "Recent Apps" available. Cold reboot helps but problem will recurs. Stock Asus ROM, Android 4.0.3, kernel 2.6.39.4.
Hi slybin, yours is actually the more common issue - disappearing icons, but swipe/touch works. Mine is the opposite - the icons are visible, but swipe/touch does NOT work.
I'm guessing you are on stock kernel? Disappearing icons is fixed with Guevor's kernel, or possibly others.
Im on team eos JB and never faced any of the issues you mentioned above.. try flashing a different ROM after wiping everything...

zAlbee: Yes, I'm on a stock kernel. I just find it strange that it suddenly started Monday without any new kernel update from Asus.
udupa82: I saw that EOS is developed on the Xoom, did you had any other issue with that ROM? Which build did you use?

[Q] Hyperdrive RLS14 Settings FCs adding Lockscreen Shortcuts

Cannot get the lock screen shortcuts to work with hyperdrive rom.
Noticed the issue, thought possibly got a bad flash. So I did another triple wipe/cache clear and installed the rom again. Still the same issue.
You can get as far as moving around the preset shortcuts, but when you try to click the (+) to add more the screen goes black before it pops up a message that settings has stopped. Tried rebooting the phone and adjusting several other related setting and nothing would change.
If there is a known work around like a cfg or something that keeps track of the lock screen short cuts that would do the trick.
Thanks

Known issue for Hyperdrive 14. It is being fixed for 15. In the mean time, start reading here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106830&highlight=lockscreen+shortcuts&page=462 for a way to fix it.
Thank you.
Let's hope I can figure this out.
Edit:
So I downloaded RLS13 and extracted the SecSettings.apk.
The question I have is do I simply overwrite the old one and reboot the phone, or should I zip the extracted file up and install it in TWRP?
