Is there an option to use septate apps if I click either the minutes or hours on the widget? Just curious, because I would love to be able to launch both my clinch app and my calendar from the same widget.
Other than that, it is an amazing app, and I thank you for taking the time to develop the free version. 8/10. Fantastic job, but don't give up just yet.

I was unable to add widgets to my home screen. I would go through the steps and the widget box would appear on my screen but it says problem loading widget. Aside from that it is working great on my Nook Touch

What are the differences between the free and paid versions? I already have the paid version, I'm just looking for a comparison.

I guess I can't read. I read those as features of the free version and there were "even more" features available in the pro version.

I'm guessing not, since that's listed as a feature of the Pro version and this thread is for the Free version.

I search many cities near my home but the app found nothing, I am disappointed...

I had an error about a week ago where it would not locate. I had to go to settings/location & security/ check the box use wireless networks. By these settings I meant phone settings not beweather settings.
Edit...I didn't realize this was the free version thread. I have way to many thread subscriptions lollll. I have the paid version. Not sure if my above suggestion will help.

and after 15 min of being installed is crashing on 3 min like: personal weather stoped working...

Yes google calenda is synced with caledar in galaxy s2. also made a test event on pc and in few seconds i saw it on my caledar on phone.

this one not even want to open. crash every time. Tested with WIFI on and also without WIFI (only 3G connection)

Interesting. I'm subscribed to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball calendar. Now, the calendar doesn't specify "United States" or a state at all, but it says things like "Citi Field, Flushing" or "Marlins Park, Miami" and for some reason, when I click on that entry, it just assumes I those places are in London.
Other than that, I like the idea. Had one FC so far, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Thanks for the help. A bunch of people reported the crashes and I just rolled out an update to fix it. The bug has gotten a hit to my overall ratings but I hope things move on smoothly from here on. Anyway, the update should be up in an hour or so

App updated with 5-day forecasts

A few critiques:
1. Not intuitive: Took me a while to figure out how to change the location or between F and C
2. Needs (GPS) location detection
3. Single digits for single digit temperatures. 8C should not be displayed as 08C
4. The forecast arrow or shortcut is difficult to "press" - takes several tries before the screen changes. Not sure if it's a deliberate delay or the arrow not sensitive enough or calibrated.
5. No temperature displayed in the forecast window.
6. The forecast icons should also include small details like precipitation and others.
That's all I can think of in the 2 minutes I used the app, but good start nonetheless. Needs a widget also.

Pardon me for asking, but why two apps? What are the major differences between the two, could you elaborate?

Same question as above, but also: what Android versions does this work on? Play Store says both are incompatible with my phone (running 4.3 ).

It doesn't qork for a lot of people. The reviews for the app are filled with this problem with location selection. Useless app if you can't put in a location.

I made Weatheroux⁺ first, however when I first released it, it was extremely buggy and did not work well across different devices. So a few months later I released Weatheroux², making use of material design. But then I realised it wasn't as attractive as Weatheroux⁺ so I decided to fully redesign and recode Weatheroux⁺ and roll out an update for it, so here we are!
As for big differences, Weatheroux² goes into more detail information wise. It provides latercasts and forecasts and even provides information on UV index hourly. Weatheroux⁺ provides more simplistic weather information and only shows a daily 5 day forecast.

Both the apps work on android 4.4 and above. I was thinking of making them 5.0 and above only, however that might restrict access to those who already had Weatheroux⁺ before I rolled out the update so I modified the code to cater to 4.4 users and 5.0 users accordingly.

It is a font known as Climacons. It's widely used in many weather applications.

In W+, if I choose metric and go back to the normal daily forecast and press back again it goes back to the temp settings. If I repeat it, it will never stop^^

The widgets for W+ are a work in progress, however I am in the midst of releasing a 4x1 widget for W2. So just be on the look out!

I was never a fan of gps tracking for weather apps. I implemented it in the older versions of W+ but I was not able to perfect it. So I guess gps tracking will not be implemented in the near future.

I haven't used WU, but I can say that I am not experiencing this with Weather Company.

Yes, I thought I had selected the wrong provider previously, but re checking now, and back on Accuweather.

I like this weather app, but - there's a big commercial in it, so I can't see why it should be any different from the free version?
I'd buy this app if the price was reasonable, but paying a monthly fee for a weather app is pushing it, it's beautiful though.

Anyone have problems with the app constantly using gyroscope and accelerometer? I did search the main thread to find someone had the same problem but no solution was given.

Yeah, I reported on this in the original thread a while back. It's still happening for me on the XDA edition as well.

I've done some digging around today and found out via logcat that the app is running a webview in the background. I've force stopped the webview and the sensor usage stops until it relaunches it again. Usually relaunching the app will also stop using the sensors. So far this seems to be a problem with Android 9 as I didn't have this on Android 8.

i have the issue with WU too, it always reverts to accuweather
