Also downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile.com/firmware
The firmware consists of a .tar.m5 file of size around 350mb.
but now they ask me to browse to the CSC, PDA AND PHONE files.
Which are these? and where can I get those?
Thanks.

Flash firmware on new Galaxy S7 G930F

Hello everyone, my name is Andrea and i got a new Galaxy S7. I bought it from Hong Kong and it came with some Spanish Vodafone apps and one of them can't be removed. I was thinking of flashing a different firmware so I could get rid of these branded apps, but my concern is: will this void the warranty/trip the KNOX?
I would download the firmware from sammobile and using odin to flash it.
BTW I live in Australia, but I would be happy to install any firmware as long as it is not branded.
Thanks for your help.
Andrea
nope it doesn't trip knox..

What do you mean by "system untouched "?
I ment to ask if let's say Italian or UK firmware have more updates or developing.
Also, if flashing a stock rom doesn't flag the knox, is there a way manifacture or shop can know I have installed a different from original?
Thank you

Hi
untouched system is when is 100% stock (odin) or stock with systemless root ( phone thinks is still 100% stock) or with systemless xposed in either case you will still get OTA
Flashing stock roms with odin will not trip the knox bit , rooting yes
European rom may get updates earlier than Australians but i do think by much , they will not care if you flash a rom from a different country and if you worry about it you can always flash back the original firmware .....they will not know what you had before

Sammobile has a little guide:
Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Also you can read this thread is a little different because they use 4 files instead of one but basically the same

Hi MAX 404! I've flashed the new firmware. I opted for the Italian one and all the unwanted apps are gone. Thank you for your help, it was very easy!

It all depends on what you want to do or need to do , flashing CSC may imply a factory reset , some times you do not want to do that.....AP will update the OS only
For a clean restore of phone all 4 parts flashing is recomended

Odin is the only way.
Try these troubleshooting steps for a failed Odin flash.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-t2345831
Odin can still flash the device while in the "encountered an issue, connect to Kies" screen.

There should be a 3 letter code that represents the country/region/carrier for each firmware version.
Find the newest version for your model number that matches your country/region/mobile carrier.

I usually recommend a version of Odin that was released shortly after the device was released because those versions were updated to be compatible with the device, whereas newer versions of Odin are less compatible with devices that were released a year or more before it.

The custom ROM that you tried to flash, was it for your model number? Or was it for a different device?
Try different USB ports, try a different PC, try a different cord.
If all else fails, try finding a copy of your device's PIT file and flash that in Odin along with the stock firmware. Place the firmware where it goes then place the PIT in the pit tab in odin, make sure the "re-partition" option is checked in Odin then start.

Hello, This could be kind of weird but
Download the Unified Android tool kit
Do a copy of the frimware you want to flash
remove the .md5 extension from the file name of the new file
the image file should now transfer into a zip file
extract it in the Unified Android tool kit INPUT folder
Run the ToolKit
it will do an update check
now type 99 and press enter
a list of choices will appear choose the " create tar files from image files" it's maybe number 8 as i remember
now choose to make a separate tar files of each image file
once done , the tar files will be placed in the OUTPUT folder
try to flash System tar file alone without the other partitions.

Here is a brief guide -
1 - Download the firmware of the CSC you want.
2 - Open Odin and put the firmware, but don't put HOME_CSC, you need to use CSC, and remember to flash all the files, so add the AP, BL etc.
3 - When the phone boots after flashing, it will ask you to reset the device, so reset it. (If you click the wrong button, just reboot to recovery, and reset)

Failed Root Z flip 4 brick & recovery..now what

So long story short was trying to root went to sammobile they didn't have my vzw sm-f721u and I updated flip to 13 while prior. Bricked because I was high and forgot to do the Magick trick before flashing then had to take sammobiles f721u1 vzw 12 and flashed but still at 13 didn't downgrade , unbricked, tried Magick patch for sha256 fix but didn't work. No root. Sammobiles f721u1 is slower than my og f721u ..bvka which can only find for sale and shady at sammfrew.com
