I forgot that we dont have MTP for file copying to twrp. Can somebody explain me how to copy files through adb sideload to my oneplus 7 pro?

I have problem. I have B307 ROM (L12) and I wanted update to 4.12.16 ROM. I replace build.prop file but I did not replace local.prop file yet and after that by mistake I restart the phone. Now the phone stoped at the huawei logo screen. I can enter to fastboot mode (also I have connection via minimal adb) and to recovery mode. In recovery mode I can not mount SD card - can not reinstal B307 or instal 4.12.16 ROM.
Now I think, maybe I replace (restore) the build.prop file (I did backup this file and leave it in /system directory).
So how to enter to the /system directory and delate build.prop file and rename build.prop_old file to build.prop using recovery mode or minimal adb??
I have read about Multi-Tool.zip but I do not know how to use it via minimal adb?
Or can anyone write what else can I do?
p.s. the best would be do not loos settings and data (I do have backup but it is plenty of work)

Try qtadb to enter the /system directory and restore your build.prop file. It is a GUI program so you do not have to learn complicated adb commands to access your device.
I loast all data (I mean I need to get them from backup) but the phone is ok. I used minimal adb to recover system.img file (extracted with HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.8.0) and the emui started I updated than to 4.12.16 version. But now I need to do all settings.
good day, viper
I have a Honor 6 also and is boot looping. I can still access fastboot and use minimal ADB. When you said recover system.img, you mean flashing it into the phone?
Hello all.
I know there are many threads of this kind but nothing worked for me. So Please help!
I unlocked my bootloader, installed TWRP and flashed SuperSU binaries. Everything was working fine.
Then I wanted to flash cm12 nightly. So i downloaded the zip file and also the Gaaps.zip file. I transfered them to the phone and booted to recovery.
1. Then instead of wiping cache i wiped the whole system i.e factory data reset. So then i tried reboot it says NO OS INSTALLED! do you want to continue? After that "Your phone is not rooted. Install SuperSU? As i don't have the SuperSU files so it just reboots to the bootscreen and stays there. I can go to the recovery and fastboot mode.
2. then i booted to recovery and went to adb sideload. I have the ADB files on my desktop and pasted the ROM.zip file to the folder.
3. Then i tried the command adb sideload ROM.zip with my phone connected. But then a lot of coding appears in the cmd window and phone stays at adb sideload.
4. When i connect my phone to my pc in recovery It comes up as "One" in the disk drives. I open it and it has a folder named TWRP and inside thata file. Nothing else. The good thing is I have a nandroid backup of my device when it had SuperSU binaries.
*the "One disappears when I go to ADB sideload in my phone*
So can I transfer the backup to my phone in a separate folder named "Backups" and install it via restore in TWRP? Or do have to do something else?
Please help! Please! :crying:

Hey guys, I need assistance please. I was attempting to upgrade my Mi4 to Lollipop.. I downloaded Gapps and clockworkmod zip files as instructed to upgrade to Lollipop, however the asop ROM file asop-cancro-5.3.19 had not finished downloading when I started the update.
I got clock work mod R11 installed, however I do not have an asop Rom zip file downloaded to flash on the drive. I have the asop ROM file downloaded on my Macbook and on my PC, and I thought maybe the mounts and storage option would work if I hook the phone to the computers, however neither seems to recognize the phone, or Im not doing it right..... I'm basically stuck at the clock work mod screen, so how can I get the ASOP file over to the phone so I can flash it? unfortunately I did not do a backup before starting this process... The pic is where I am at.. Thanks to everyone in advance...
Is adb working in CWM recovery? "adb push FILENAME.zip /sdcard/" will upload file to phone internal memory (you need USB drivers and Android platform tools for this).
Full system recovery with mi-flash should at least work:

hey guys,
I was on stock 8.1 oxygen 5.1.8 rooted magisk with exposed installed, everything worked fine !
Untill I flashed https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony-themes-apps/8-0-8-1-t3822594 I flashed the first zip file (8.0-8.1 black theme), after restart the phone is stuck in the oxygen bootscreen. Just to be safe before flashing I also put the uninstall zip file, so I flashed the uninstall zip file, but the phone is still stuck in the oxygen boot screen.
The big problem is, I have some data on my phone which i which to retrieve, I can enter into twrp but when connecting to the pc, the pc does not find my op6 drive. How can I fix this, the data is really important on the op6 which i would like to retrieve to my pc.
I hope someone can help me out here.
TWRP doesn't support MTP for now. So use:
adb pull /sdcard
It will download all files from Your internal storage to Your PC.
Just make sure that You have minimal adb installed on Your PC, and then run that command in PowerShell/CMD or Terminal.

thnx for response, but could you just tell me in steps what I should do to retrieve my internal data without moving all the files from the phone to pc, the most important files are only the pictures and videos I shot. Is there a way to select specific folders that I would like to transport to my pc ?
There's an mtp enabled unofficial twrp version that you could boot from fastboot:

thnx but i am already transfering all the files from my 128gb through the adb pull, I already extracted around 55gb, I think in one hour it should be done.
Anyways, I am really gratefull for the help I received, I hope to see a stable twrp with mtp ^^,
I need to flash an os (currently dont have one) but the pc does not recognize the phone. I think it is because I renamed a folder in the firmware directory, not the verinfo. If someone can please tell me the original name of the other folder (notverinfo) in /firmware. Hopefully that IS the problem otherwise ill be buying an sd card to flash an os. Please and thank you.
All the drivers are up to date. Cannot adb push or sideload, not detected in fastboot & adb.
