Hello Guys
I'm having Problems with the most of my apps.. They keep closing after opening. If I update the work fine again, but I can't access the Google Play Store, cause he is also one of the affected apps..
I think its something with Permissions or something, but found nothing which repaired it..
I'm running on Oxygen OS 9.5.8, with TWRP and Magisk installed.
I only have this issue with some apps, such as Twitter or Home. Everything else is fine for me.
Ive had that problem, had to uninstall the affected apps and install from Play store. Expecting same again when I transfer from my OP5 to OP7 Pro this weekend.
Cant remember if I tried installing app from play store but then restore app's data only from TiBu. Might be worth a try.

Yeah I know I could do that, but the Google Play Store is one of the affected apps and I didn't even recovered his data..
Are you restoring system data - not recommended.

first off i have the HTC wildfire and i put gingerbread onto it, and as soon as i got it on everything worked except that google play wasn't there so i downloaded the .apk of the web but when i click of the app, it opens but it comes up with a box saying
"you must add an account to the device to continue. do you want to add one now?"
and no matter what i click on whether it is yes or no, the application just closes.
any ideas as to what i could do
have you tried deleting data and cache of the play store app? maybe that's all you need to do. afaik there's also another system app that's connected to the play store and which could help if you delete data and cache of it.

Something like this happened to my N7. What I did to fix the problem was go into Settings > Accounts & Sync: Then remove your account, (1*) reboot, then add your Google account with the Accounts & Sync Page.
1*
It might be worth it to wipe the Google play data after you remove your account.
Also, I think that raShMan777 was referring to both Google Play Services, and Google Services Framework. You should try and wipe there data as well.

yes, that's what i meant.
What gapps baked into the rom that you installed? Make sure that you have the right version. If all else fails, download and reflash gapps before you wipe and reflash the entire rom.

I resolved the problem on my cell by deleting the Play Store's app data with Titanium Backup.
Hi,
i've got a noob question so please be patient.
i have installed jellytime R27 and want to upgrade (with full wipe) to R29.
now i'm not sure, if the apps i installed on the R27 jellytime rom from the gapps store will be automatically redownloaded after i installed the gapps store on the new R29 rom.
do i have to enable some setting or is it impossible cause the play store would not recognize the phone with the new rom?
the "similar threads" did't answer my question and titanium backup seams not to be recommended with jellytime.
thx for your time

I have titanium backup but is there anyway to freshly download all your apps from Play all at once?
I have tried to let google backup my device but it never works that great. Just wondering beccause Ive been restoring from backups for al ong time and my phone is getting pretty laggy lately and I would kind of just like to start fresh
thanks
You could always restore just the apk without data with titanium. The play store will detect which apps require updating. It's just the same as downloading them.

when apps update in the play store to your device, do they reinstall the app everytime with the updated one or just do incremental updates of files in the app?

Hmm, not sure about that...I'd have thought it would always update with the most updated version but what if the newest version isn't compatible with your phone? (it happened to me a couple of times).
Update you apps. Erase backup in tb. Backup updated apps using backup apps only. Now you have a new backup of all your updated apps.

i would backup your data, then do a factory reset. if that doesn't fix it, then something is broken in the system and you will need to re-flash the stock firmware.

It will wipe all of your data, but your contacts and apps should sync back when you put your gmail back in after wiping.
If you are rooted, you can use an app like titanium backup to save app data and messages if you wish.

Thats all I can suggest, and I can't guarantee it will work.
You are always welcome to wait and see if anyone else makes a better suggestion for you.

Had to reinstall all other apps also because it made other apps stopped but reinstalling will solve it

I'm running DH's Lollipop ROM and the Play store has been giving me -505 errors when I try to install certain applications. It is not during the download period, just when the app attempts to install itself. This happens with APKs as well. Is it an issue of Lollipop compatibility? I'm trying to download Chronus in particular.

Make sure that you did a clean install of the rom. If you were in TWRP there is a advanced wiping tab. Try wiping internal data (that does not wipe external sd card). This is probably a fix. If using some other recovery it should come with a similar feature. Hope this helped

Thanks, I tried that but still no luck so I just restored a nandroid. I've been digging around the N5 forums because they've had Lollipop for a while and it looks like it's a common thing with 5.0.

I had the same issue. Just curious, but did you try and use Titanium Backup at all? I did, and it failed. Must have broke something. A clean flash did the trick for me.
I had the same issue but only with apps that I attempted to restore with Titanium. I had to do a full data wipe and reflash to be able to install those apps again.

Yea I did and it just hangs up on that restore until I FC the app and deselect from restore. With the ROM I'm using Chronus (for example) is an optionally app to be installed and it installs that way but isn't the most up to date version and the update from the Play Store doesn't install either. Weird issues for sure.

Clean flash Lollipop and DO NOT use TiBu. It must not be fully working on 5.9 yet. I had the exact same thing happen. Just let Google restore your apps.

I have flashed the ROM and love it except this issue that I am also experiencing. I also have TiBu but did not use it for the app restore. Rather I used Google Play and it failed to install Any.do. I have tried manually and read extensively online and the problem appears to be related to Adobe air not being Lollipop compatible. I finally email Anydo and they are aware of the issue and are providing me with a link to their upcoming lollipop beta. My point is I don't believe reflashing, re-restoring, or rummaging around in the data/data folder will fix the 505 error.

After reading further I decided to uninstall ALL Task apps, which included Chaos-Control. I was then able to install Any.DO. It was a permission issue and it conflicted with Chaos-Control. Lollipop is confusing app permissions. Find the like app, uninstall, and then install the app you want. That worked for me.
