OnePlus 5 "This device is corrupted" page showing even after bootloader lock. - General Questions and Answers

OnePlus 5 "This device is corrupted" page showing even after bootloader lock.
So I have been using a OnePlus 5 for over a year now. I had unlocked the bootloader and was using TWRP recovery and Magisk root. Recently, since I decided to sell the phone, I clean flashed the stock ROM and re-locked the bootloader. I didn't encounter any issues there.
However, despite a successful clean flash and re-lock of the bootloader, the screen showing "This deivce is corrupted and cannot be trusted" keeps popping up on every boot. I really need a way to make that screen go away, or else it will become difficult for me to sell the phone.
Any help is appreciated.

Find device storage corrupted

i unlocked my Note 7 pro's bootloader using the official unlocking method...flashed and tried couple of custom roms and wanted to get back to stock miui cause netflix wasn't working on unlocked bootloader...so flashed miui 10.3.13.0 latest rom using mi flash tool and clicked the button called "clean all and lock"...when booted up a mesaage is showing "Find device storage corrupted.Your device is unsafe now"...it's not showing me the screen where i used to give my mi account password(this device is associated with an existing mi account).......now i have to enter mi account password every time i reboot my phone and that message is poping up on bottom of the screen...no other hardware issue though.

I have two Redmi Note 7 Pro devices. (Global Devices - A.K.A Indian Variant)
first device is unlocked but no custom rom installed like ever
second device is unlocked with lots of custom rom history
While trying to relock my bootloader with MIFLASH (clean all and lock) and Global firmware 11.0.8
First device firmware flash worked perfectly and bootloader is set to lock state - (Widevine status is L1 )
Second device as stated in OP . Flashing success but device showing "SYSTEM HAS BEEN DESTROYED". If i unlock the bootloader of the device then it boots normally but device is in unlock state (widevine status L3)
I think some modifications might have happened to some system partitions which causes the VBMETA - SRCLIST check failure.
ANY DEVS PLEASE LOOKS INTO THIS ISSUE ...
Yeah someone out there I"m trying to relock bootloader bcoz to get access to my corporate mails , netflix HD content and GPAY
(On other hand magisk is having CTS profile check failure as google changed the approach to check the unmodified system)

If you wanna lock your bootloader then don't untick the option, use MiFlash along with lock devide option. That should give you stock ROM and a locked bootloader, but don't try this on a custom ROM.

There is no harm having unlocked bootloader with miui stock you still secured and still gets all updates pushed by Xiaomi.
I recently flashed rom miui by mi flash tool and with unlocked option on and as I started from fresh got latest update 11.8.0 hope so but you do one thing uninstall the mi flash tool and reinstall it then do the same steps again you will get successful

Yeah never said there's a problem..just that if you try it on a custom rom it will brick the device..

I have talked to some developers and they have said its happening to everybody due to some issue by Redmi side you cant rollback from anrdoid 10 custom rom to miui 11 android 9 based you have to wait till redmi releases miui 11 based on android 10 then you can lock the bootloader or you can use edl mode
Did you find any solution to this?

Even EDL mode isn't a solution.
One of my known violet user went to service center and they failed to revive the phone even from EDL flashing. At last they changed the mobo.
Hope this gets fixed after miui 12 with android 10 comes.
P.s : i lost all my hope of relocking the bootloader & i don't think so that android 10 update from Xiaomi will fix this.
Lets hope it gets fixed
I always use the fastboot method to restore original system. Works 100% of the time. It has scripts to flash stock without lock

How to relock the OnePlus 8 5G bootloader?

I upgraded to the Note 20 ultra and I want to relock my OnePlus 8 5G bootloader for resale. I did unlock the sim as it was originally for TMobile. But when I recently relocked the bootloader it basically was soft bricked, and wouldn't boot past some weird error message about something corrupt. When I unlocked the bootloader again that message went away and it booted fine. One issue is that it won't take an ota it keeps failing to even download. I've tried many times. Not sure what's up with it, but if there is a way to relock the bootloader and have it boot and update the ota I'd be much appreciative.

follow these steps:
1. backup your persist.img file
2. use unbrick tool to recover the phone to an orignal version
3. upgrade to the newest version through OTA
4a. if the fingerprint works, it works all done.
4b. if the fingerprint sensor is abnormal, unlock your phone and flash persist.img, then relock your phone. There will be a series of wiping data during your lock/unlock operation.

FRD-L09 running Openkirin, possible to unlock FRP?

Hello. I have a few old Android phones that I would like to reset to complete stock in case I want to use them in the future, first out was an old FRD-L09 but I have run into some trouble. I installed omnirom using Openkirin's guide a few years ago.
I have extracted the original partitions and all, but I am unable to flash it in fastboot due to the fact that the bootloader on the phone says FRP Lock. Phone Unlocked.
I have access to the phone running Omnirom from Openkirin. How can I proceed to remove the FRP lock so I can go ahead and flash the original system, recovery and kernel?

Samsung Note 3 SM-N9005 with twrp installed can't flash lineageOS android pie.

So I Was Trying To Unlock My Note's OEM By Flashing A custom rom, But TWRP Says Failed, Any Help?
What steps have you followed to unlock your bootloader?
Enabling the OEM Unlocking toggle is the first step. If you are unable to do this, the bootloader cannot be unlocked and flashing custom firmware is not possible.
I Still Haven't Unlocked It, But I Flashed It With Twrp And Rebooted Then LineageOS Wasn't Installed, Download Mode Hasn't Been Affected.
(UPDATE) Fixed The Failed Problem And Rebooted With Lineage Os, Download Mode Still Hasn't Been Affected
