Hardware version B and C - ASUS ZenFone 6 (2019) Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
Anyone knows wherr to get the Version B or C of the phone?
Thr LTE bands in these versions are essential for use in Canada.
I looked and asked on Aliexpress, and they only have the Version A.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!

Wait until early July. It's coming to U.S so it might support yours.

So i assume everyone is using version A at the moment?

They haven't been released yet as far as I've heard (rumors) it's out in July

Yes, that's correct. They can't make two forums based on region.

Not fully true, there's a thread in this forum where someone got a copy from ASUS USA (review/preview device?) and based off the manual appeared to be a version C.

lost Software upgrades

Hello All,
I have an unlocked AT&T LG G3 phone which I used with AT&T number till April 2015. Later, I left the country and now using it with Airtel.
After I left AT&T, there were 2 software upgrades for the phone, I received none.
I checked with AT&T, they said they will not support now, contact LG.
LG said, I will get updates when it is available, but no luck.
Can someone help ?? Thanks.

Marshmallow 6.0 Update Coming in December

Though I had been told verbally from a Samsung engineer that our Note 5 would get the update in December, This is the 1st written confirmation from the U.K Times via phoneareana
So, basically we are about 4 weeks +/- from receiving our update ....... good news !!
http://http://www.phonearena.com/news/Roadmap-reveals-when-certain-Samsung-Galaxy-devices-will-be-updated-to-Marshmallow_id75779
Our note 5 as in tmobile note 5? Or as in international and it is being sent to tmobile to do their thing?
sorry link isn't working for me v.v

I think the written document is regarding the unlocked Note 5. However, T-mobile is pretty quick about their updates. I have hope we'll still get it in December.
Link isn't working for me either but I did see a notification stating the N920T will have a Marshmellow upgrade for sure. As much as I like to run the latest & geatest, the Marshmellow update is one that I will not be jumping on right away until I hear plenty of feedback on it.

What the hell you talking about? Not implying he was lying. Just wanted to see what it looks like & what the firmware version was so I can search for a download cause OTA is not an option for me. Sheesh

it could be for next month
The RUUNhad been up for a few days. i updated my Sprint A9 last week. 6.0.1 running good here.
Ok, wow they put out an entire RUU for that version...thanks. But, this is just apparently the 7.0_g version, which the Unlocked US Users have had for about nearly a month already from what I can tell, with Sprint's bloatware added of course.
Not sure what is different between this and the US unlocked 1.56.617.1?
Not everyone has the unlock version

Idk man. I've been dying to flash the beta, but no firmware links for my phone seem to exist. Are you enrolled in the beta and if so can you create a link? I'm not exactly sure how it works but if possible let me know.

Sorry, but I'm in the same boat as you. They said that Unlocked US variant should get the beta but the sign up option in the members app doesn't appear at all for me. So either I missed it somehow or they delayed it for the Unlocked variant.
If I do end up getting access I'll be sure to post it here for others to download.

Mod, please move this to general section. Apologies
That's great news, was a bit worried about security update coming back to Samsung.
I think the battery is acceptable 4 to 5 hours screen on time, no dark mode and on high brightness.

Now let's get updating!

It was released in Ireland, but it typically releases for the unlocked variants before the carriers.

In my experience, AT&T will be the last US carrier to upgrade. Just use Frija and get the latest built from another US carrier, like TMB for example.

True. TMB does have a very slightly newer build (AUGB) than what came on the AT&T version but it still has the July security patch.
