In the UK I bought this phone for £599 with the free cover and pen just over a week ago.
Now just thought I'd check how much this bad boy is worth(trade in prices) ....oh dear....one place, offers £100, the rest......£50!!!!
What's going on?
I know there is problems between us and China.....but what the hell??!!?
Where do they sell the mate 20 x voor 100? I'd buy another one.

Don't you worry... It's still by far the best phone out there! Honestly where will you find a phone with the largest screen and battery, Infra red, mpen, the internals of the p30 pro, and a camera to die for?
Still cannot get over this beast of a device!
I paid £799 included the pen and case. It's an awesome phone, Hdr screen, stellar battery life and amazing speaker system... I've considered moving given the uncertainty with Huawei but I look at what's out there isn't a phone with the same specs. I'm not compromising on camera, sound or battery life. Therefore I'm keeping my little pocket rocket. And android 9.1 will be released from 27 June.

Here u can get it for 599€, I get one for 499€ and on ebay you can get one for about 400-450€.
This is the price for last 6 weeks.
But there is no way to get it <400€.
I really dont care, i could never ever even thinking to sell this phone.
Still nothing out there that can currently beat it, i just hope they sort out this Chinese ban or i'll be forced to get another phone as won't be able to use Huawei for a work phone.
I'm going to be selling my L29 this weekend with a 128gb nm card, a bunch of cases and I'm also bootloader unlocked.

Speakers are about the same with an ever so slight edge to the 20 X as they are slightly louder and have a little more highs but not by that much. So far the camera quality is the same to me but I haven't had the phone more than a few hours. I'll have to take some comparison shots tonight;
Update : I actually sold the phone to a friend, for £550 and got a note 9, but a week later, have got rid of that, and rebought mate 20x again

Note 9 is a sham mate it's an abomination. Way too heavy even for me with big hands and love heavy phones. It feels like a cheap Chinese phone with a Samsung badge stuck to it. Think Samsung pulled a fast one here. Note 10 will be innovative and futuristic but note 9 was terrible. This phone is a keeper. Sucks that development is so poor. Glad you came to your senses not even the op7 pro can touch this. This is the best phone I have ever had and I have had them all. XS Max and XR 8plus S10 plus Note 9 NEX S Max 3 Mix 3 to name a few.

Hi. Just wondering, as I'm not that familiar with Huawei products. In what ways do you think the Mate 7 would be disappointing? Regardless, I would hold out for Mate 8 - the Kirin 950 does sound impressive. Although I do not know much about the UI. Thanks!

My best smartphone in years! Lots of features for a very reasonable price (here in the Netherlands I paid eur 350 for), never ever had a battery better than this, going on w/o troubles for almost two days (unrooted, stock; heavy user), much much better than my LG g3 before (slow, terrible battery times).
With lollipop (manually updated couple of weeks ago) state of the art handset, would not trade for anything else right now!

Im moving from a Nexus 5x so would be very interested at your thoughts about this phone ? Screen, speed, quality, are the bezels that big, etc etc. Anything u can tell me....
Also, One main question: does it have a notification LED ? I contacted HTC support and they have said, yes it does but I cannot see this in the specs or pics.

Great phone for the price.
I have a T-Mobile version so it's not Android one software.
It has notification led. The phone is basically just like my 10 in size. The screen is only 1080p but it's great still.
Cameras are great. Battery and standby are great. It's a really great phone overall.

I literally just got back from T-Mobile to get the u11 Life. I set it up to my liking and everything is great so far. Touch response is great. Speed is great. I just wish it came with the USB-c to headphone adapter like most phones workout a headphone jack. But the free headphones are great.
Just having a little lag every so often with the finger print unlock.
I rebooted the phone and now the fp sensor works great. No complaints so far with this phone.
I've seen many reviews complaining about trouble with getting Edge Sense to register properly, but I've had no issues; I've actually found it to be very useful when using the short press for Google Assistant and the long press for the camera app. Can anyone confirm consistent issues with Edge Sense or a lack thereof; did the reviewers tend to roll poorly in the silicon lottery?
I have a U11 (Android One version, with 4 Gb RAM and 64 Gb storage) and everything works perfectly, including Edge Sense. This phone is amazing, takes vary nice pictures (and pics are OK in low light, not as good as on the U11 but for the price it's a great choice).
It's lighter and had more "grip" that the metal edges, at least for me it's not as slippery as big brother so I tend to enjoy it more without a case on !

He obviously got the 32GB version, wich is on sale since a week or so. The HTC website is the only place where you can get the 64 GB Version.

I was lucky to test the unit a few weeks before it was released (I am running the french blog www.monhtcone.com). I confirm this is the 4GB / 64 GB version.

Yes, the Android One (Europe) version of the U11 life comes with 8.0.0.

Not sure if this also applies to other countries but a little disappointing seeing how the 'regular' model is already available through several webshops here...
Not Great at all. Looks like another 2 weeks worth of wait, oh well, I do hope its a case of 'good things come to those who wait.'
Been reading reviews and although this is not a flagship phone the reviews do seem encouraging. Bring it on HTC...

Well, there are some in Germany who offer the small device already too, but none is shipped in a short time frame.

I've ordered 2 yesterday.
The black version seems to be available. The Blue version not. So expect delays when going for the blue version.
On a side note. Black Friday sale started yesterday, so the phone now costs around 341€

Firstly, I have simply loved so much about this phone. Camera, battery, screen etc! However, most importantly, the Huawei sanctions and walled garden that I, and others, have truly hated means that I will likely never recommend or use another Huawei after this ...
UNLESS THERE IS A CHANGE!
Please help send a message and reply to this message. Especially to my AL00 CN version brethren and sisters, but also the Western version users.
At any rate, my hope is that you can help and, together, we can make a statement... and that someone from Huawei reads this and S-T-O-P-S the bull****.
Of course, I could be a massive minority (would not surprise me). But I simply just wish for this company to allow users like myself the freedom to use their devices as we want.
Having said that, though, there will likely be other options on the horizon soon that spark our interest ----- and maybe that might just be the fun of it all.

The note 10+ is a a bit close to the price i'm selling my mate 20X, if i sell in this month, i'll maybe.. just maybe, buy Note 10+ or i'll wait for the Mi fold *this smart will be so ****ing beatifull*

I returned my note 10 plus and picked up this phone. I love it.
The Mate 20 series is quite capable but the fact you can't use a different launcher (on Chinese version which I own) among other things has me looking elsewhere. Interested in Samsung's folding phone. It apparently has been released in Korea and will soon be released in US...
i hace AL00 and I hope to find a phone with a 7-inch screen is the only thing I will miss my 20x mate. But I will never use Huawei again because I can't customize many things from the launcher and besides I need the code to do the unlock bootloader. I left the iPhone because it was very limited and Huawei is the Apple of Android. I guess I will buy a Xiaomi or maybe an Asplus or Nokia oneplus those are my options Samsung seems very expensive to me every time and I don't see much innovation.
I wish I could appeal to Huawei directly.

C'mon... I also am sticking with it for now... but the oneplus is screaming out louder and louder for those like me who don't want to be hemmed into EMUI world

The link I gave is the European model. The Netherlands got it much earlier. ? All models are the same from everything that I've read.
Belsimpel.nl offers sim free European model and deliver almost everywhere in Europe.

however it's a Chinese model. Most likely won't be able to flash Global ROM on it... but the price is very tempting!

I also didn't like the green too much, but the blue version looks amazing on all reviews no matter that on oneplus' webpage the picture of the blue looks ugly. For the camera I agree that probably it won't be the absolute best but I wouldn't look at Oneplus anyways if the camera was my top priority. However I think it will be updated and it will be top-of-the-line. Oneplus is the king of updates and UX. The screen is the best, stereo speakers, fastest wireless charging. I also like that they removed the motorized camera tbh(i know this is subjective, but still). The curve of the screen is not something that I appreciate, but also I get used to this( I had the Vivo Nex 3, Huawei Mate 30 Pro) and don't mind in the end.
Some things I like better on the Find X2 Pro(the back finish for example and the faster wired charging), but OnePlus 8 Pro gets my vote because the community is beyond comparison so we will get all kinds of things to play with over here at XDA. +good battery +fastest wireless charging +the best screen +great camera +Oxygen(btw Find X2 Pro is similar) +best updates.
In the end -> I placed my pre-order of the blue 256GB model and hopefully will get it by the end of next week.

Hi, sadly I don't. I waited for two weeks (6 days for it to be in stock) and they still didn't send it despite having it in stock (despite their adverts saying thar they send phones 7 days a week until 11pm etc) and I cancelled the order and bought a P40 Pro instead.
I’ve ordered the orange variant from Belsimpel.nl, shipped Friday so hope to receive sometime this week (UK). Took a few days to get through fraud check as I’m not in the Netherlands but appreciate that is for my safety also. By the time i got through the checks it said 2-4 days to get stock in but they actually shipped immediately. Not sure if they put one to the side for me but doubt it!

I've took the gamble too. Have just ordered the black from belsimpel.nl
Looked at all the alternatives, and although some of the China ones were cheaper, they were all just 256gb. I would have liked dual sim but the chance of the phone not supporting android auto and/or wifi calling (plus only one year warranty - and the possibility of customs charges etc) was too much of a gamble. None of the Chinese merchants would commit.
Hopefully, this will arrive swiftly... nice black 512Gb single SIM for just over €1,204 including shipping. Reckon that even when(if) it turns up in UK it'll be similar price for 512Gb.
Ordering, like you say, was a bit of a miff... but I'll take that for security purposes.

Just for info, the tracking on mine was stuck, it still said it was waiting to be picked up by the courier for 3 days after it 'shipped'. It wasn't though it was in transit and arrived within 3 working days
Arrived 2nd Day after shipping. Has Android Auto, WiFi calling (yet to test), so currently quite happy
do you think poco x3 will have custom rom support? what's your oppinion about this? i want to buy a new Phone, should i buy redmi note 9s (curtana) or poco x3 nfc for custom rom support?

Having a new CPU and a camera sensor used only in 15 devices surely does not help. Combine that with the fact that xiaomi products are more and more secure and bootloader unlock times tend to increase and also the fact that they are not easily release source code, I tend to think that it will be an obscure device regarding development. Or it could be the next poco f1. Or oneplus 1/3. I have hope I'm terribly wrong and the development will be great because I'm thinking about buying the device. But then again there are a lot of xiaomi devices left behind. Being a android 10 device also will not help regarding custom recoveryes like twrp.
Le: because of the above I'm reluctant buying another xiaomi device. And pocophone f1 still sounds like a good idea.

they're releasing code right away and its a beast of a phone so more people should have it
Just ordered my Poco X3. I think for the price, it's really an unbeatable package all things considered. Here's to hoping the custom development will be popular like Poco F1 is!
Really hope there will be roms like for x2.

After all the possible discounts I managed to get 128GB version for 152€ (180$) I think it's worth the risk...for the price it's a beast
The fact that it's getting a global release, including in India, bodes well for development. The launch has had a huge media campaign and the specs are unbeatable for the price. And kernel sources already released, hopefully without anything missing.

How did you get such a good price? I used a code to get 10 USD off but it is far from your price.
In additin, I agree with you, the low price make it a good gamble.
180 euro / 215 USD seems more right but even that is crazy low

I got some discounts for my AliExpress account + my bank has some good cashback for orders on Ali so after all that it was this.
It should arrive in about an hour according to tracking the shipping was crazy fast

Thay sounds awesome. Even for my discounted price I think it is a good deal.
My phone is not even shipped yet I do not think it will arrive within 7 days as promised.
Mine is not shipped as well yet
Since it is shipped to Israel from China I guess I have at least one month of waiting...
At least I hope there will be some nice roms by the time I will get it

No I ordered it from shopee during 9/9 flash sale and it is from global mi store China. According to my tracking number it is already shipped out

They only started shipping today, so unless you live in Spain, next to the warehouse it is nowhere remotely close to you!
i ordered mine from france at 148.01€ in 64gb and i hope that the recovery and roms are coming soon ! I like pixel experience rom !

Not true, I've got mine since yesterday. It was shipped on 9th of September.
I did order it from Ali and I did request it from the Spanish warehouse, I'm from Portugal.
Before have custom rom, I want root Step by Step
I will receive mine this monday, ship on mi store france
I already create group and channel for poco x3 if anyone want come but it's empty for now
