[Boot Animations] Joker/CM7 Red/ CM7 Red Landscape + more to come! [9/15/11]

Modded a couple of boot animations.
CM7 and Adam2010's NeoGlass_CM7
Thanks to the CM team and to Adam2010
I have created one bootanimation on my own now! It's called jokerandroid. It's not formatted 100% correctly but again, I'm still learning.
I am learning more than this in an effort to start creating themes including animations, icons etc... this was just the beginning of learning.

Anyone have suggestions and/or ideas of boot animations they'd like to see. I'm going to basically be ripping after effect videos from youtube and random things like that into boot animations. I can do tv show intro's (at least partial), sports related ones (which I might have to custom make) etc...
I think I'm going to start a nfl/ncaa type of deal.... not sure.

I reapplied this and it doesn't stop for me... you might try a cache wipe, dalvik... I can't see how that would matter but give it a whirl. Can anyone else confirm it works or doesn't?

you're welcome. I may do that one in landscape and clear it up a bit, extend it so it doesn't look so quickly...
I'm also going to go ahead and put together my sports team series for these... I plan to have a whole bunch over time...
I'm going to go in a random order but here's a preview of the first one... it's a rough-cut of what's to come but you get the idea... i made it with pixlr an online editor and so it's nowhere close to a finished product but again, just to give an idea....

don't think so, there is no script to tell it where to go included just raw folders in a stored state zip file. it's fairly easy to copy and paste them from the sdcard to the system/media directory though...

what do you mean so fast? As to say... it's not taking as long to load the homescreen of the phone? Or why is it fast in speed? The only one that is "fast" would be the joker one, and I need to fix it up a bit, extend it.

Yeah as in when i Reboot the phone it starts up faster than what it normally would. I mean it doesn't mean i dont like it just asking as to why do you think it might be doing that ?

I use a red theme for cm7, the red boot animation you made is awesome! Thanks.

Welcome guys, lately I've been fascinated by the all new Material Design content Google had introduced to us at the 2014 IO.
So I decided to do something different this time instead of creating a theme, instead I rebuilt, fixed and redesigned No Frills CPU.
Huge thanks to the developer of No Frills CPU Classic, you can view the applications source code here - Github.
The application contains under the hood features which aren't yet enabled, stay tuned for the next release. It'll be enabled.
So give the all new and redesigned CPU Control a try.

Multi core support means access to choose how many cores you have online min/max.
This is kernel dependant (ofc) but in most of the kernels you can choose for example: 1 core online min, 2,3 or 4 cores online max. This is regarded as a way to conserve a bit the battery life.

I believe so as you cant change the cpu with stock roms because the manufacturer doesnt like it.

A minor bug/problem :
When tapping the create new message button, the animation is missing. I know we need to be on Lollipop to have that cool animations, but there is no sort of feedback that u tapped the button. Even in new gmail app tapping on the create message button gives a feedback..

I think there nothung missing. According to AP wgen they reviewd. Messaging app is the one with thw lowest number of animations and gfx transitions. (I maybe wrong).. Compared yo gmail which is one of the most beautifully modified along with calendar

I see no emoji's when I click on the built in emoji icon. I use Switkey and the emoji iocn on the keyboard anyways so it isn't a big deal at all. Just mentioning it.

FAQ:
1) Does it work on Oreo beta? Yes, use OREO ONLY variant.
2) Does it work on Nougat? Yes, use NOUGAT ONLY variant.
3) "It doesn't work on latest oreo beta!1!11"
It works on latest oreo beta, but Samsung messed up a few Substratum things.
So the new procedure to apply is:
- install the overlay with substratum
- reboot and activate the overlay with substratum(not in the manager)
You'll need to do this procedure only once, next time it will apply fine.

This is great! Thank you for adding to the Samsung substratum community, something that is getting bigger every day but is still way too small. I installed your theme and checked out all the navbars. I'm curious about one thing:
My favorite is the pixel 2 one, largely because I love the animation. I noticed though that it's almost (and maybe is) identical to the one in the statusbars for substratum theme. I noticed you thanked him in the op, so was that something you worked on together? Or used the same source? Or maybe it's not actually the same at all and yours is different underneath ?
I'm also curious what your plans are for future updates. Plans for a donate version? (Id happily donate/buy a donate version as I do to support all Samsung sub developers). Particularly Samsung needs more actual system theme options for things like settings and the qs section, and we only have 1 other theme for statusbar and lockscreen mods. Curious to know where you are wanting to take this!

Well, the navbar is the same. A guy made it in my old thread, and then i colored the pngs for the animation on oreo and ohayoubaka added them to his theme.
For donations, i will add soon PayPal link and in the future i plan to put the theme on play store with a donate version too. I will theme for sure status bar and qs too

Been looking for something like this, but just to be correct I need to have substratum to install correctly on Oreo beta?

The Pixel 2 Oreo home navbar is low res when on a light background.

Hi Zaacc, I installed it via Substratum and andromeda. Worked ok for 1 day. My battery went flat and once it was charged, the nav bar disappeared. Now it suggested it has the latest version but it wont let me enable. Same applies with the status bar LTE. Any fixes? Its quite frustrating as theres nothing online on how to fix it.... Thanks.

*New Thread* Premium Themes + For LG G7 ThinQ

Hello again and welcome to my new thread in which I will be sharing Premium level themes for our LG G7. As a side project, I won't be charging for them so you can download them for free!
Notes: I closed the previous thread in order to start a new one with a cleaner presentation, description and information about the themes and their effects on the system user interface. Also, since my themes are free I will be taking my time to make sure they are as premium and worth our time as I can, I won't be rushing but they will come often.
Also: Keep an eye out for themes that you install from here, since they might be subjected to updates to either fix a ui-bugs, color oddities, ui-glitches and the adding of features such icons or certain apps support. They will have a revision number and a date of release to prevent confusions.
How To Apply: Download and Install apk file, once installed go Settings > Display > Wallpaper & Theme > Theme / And you will see it there, then apply it.

Great themes but I have one small problem. When I use your Dead Pixel theme, all my volume level decreases. It is system wide. Top volume level decreases everywhere. Just wanted to let you know.
