[MOD(s)] Lunie's Junkyard Thread for CHT 2.0

Here are some things i dropped that didn't quite make it into my new theme.
Give any feedback these are made for eye candy if anything is not of efficiency i do apologize as these were inspired by some ideas from my favorite artists.

I know this wasn't originally planned but I had made this thread hoping to seek some beta testers. Luckily I did so thank you guys and thanks for all the beta testers. XDA is such a great community I really enjoy the help and support you have given me so umm thx ^///^'
If you are interested in the full theme refer back to my link in my sig. I'll organize it but my theme is in the Windows Mobile Theme section.
Also to make it clear these are made from scratch though I did happen to trace some things and evidently used Photoshop to cut it out and modify it but still at least 99 percent of the icons are made from scratch ^^' (in PS terms of course >.>)
If you need any mirrors for downloading request them. I'll upload them to hotfile first then mediafire.

I. Docks/Softkeys
Well these are some things I dropped during the making of my theme. I think some of you will like it which is why im uploading. Some are an icon pack for the softkeys and some are standalone docks. Be sure to download the right ones you can always uninstall it by choosing the .cab again and it'll go right to the default one you had before.

I'm not a MIUI fan but this looks pretty freaking sweet! Congrats dude, I bet it took you a good while to get everything exactly the way you wanted it but everything looks great!
If you ever make it to the CM7 side, I would love to see what you could do!

i was actually thinking about some other colors but i want to get every thing i want changed first then start othe colors the .9 images are to long and complicated to change the colors right now or at least until i get a better understanding of them lol

Awesome! I'm also looking into modifying an .mtz theme for MIUI. Can I ask you how long it took you to completely edit the theme/colors? What softare are you using and is there a way to run a batch edit for multiple files at the same time? I'm using Gimp 2.0 for Windows. Any details you can shed would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and keep up the great work!

honestly i love the stock themes just hated the orange so i kinda cheated hah
i used apk manager to decompile the apks then went it mad the color edits i wanted via gimp and then recompiled the apks and unzipped the images to a .mtz zip i made what that does it lets you change the colors of .9 images without having to redo the whole bs

looks awesome. Will have to test out

[DUMP]Sidekick 4G- with T-Mo Theme Engine + goodies

Hey guys,
Haven't seen this posted anywhere else, which really surprised me (Chucking it in the Vibrant forum because this has Vibrant-suitable goodies). After seeing pics of the Sidekick 4G, I was really taken by its neat fonts, and was hanging out for a system dump. Found one Here, at AndroidCentral, with no replies after a week - weird it didn't make news.
So I decided to download the de-yaffs'd dump and have a poke around. Found some very interesting things. But first, the basics:

It's a 2.2.1 ROM, and it's TouchWiz, but it just happens to contain the T-Mobile Theme Engine, which AFAIK is not yet available outside of CM7. With this as a factor, it may not be terribly hard to jig a port together. Non-CM7 Vibrant ROM with T-Mo theme engine is the place I wanna be.
Unfortunately, I'm a development noob and suck at useful things like deodexing. Will give it a shot, though - posting this up in the hopes others who're more experienced can have a looksee too.

Sony Xperia Play - with my own tweaked theme.

Wish I didn't have to work today - this dump looks pretty doable. Getting ready to flash it now. Will tell you what I find and what will need to be fixed like haptic, signal etc. Will also test wifi calling. IF IT FLASHES THAT IS.

No new Live Wallpapers - I'm currently copying the framework pngs to Bionix's framework to see what a theme would look like.
EDIT: Big waste of time. Taskbar is stock, only cool things are the tickboxes and teal pop-up windows.

I havent developed a standard install for it yet since it includes adding new resources to the framework so right now it is only available on Bojs5. Working on a tutorial for it though.
As far as this dump goes, I screwed up the symlinks and needed to get headed to work. I will fix and flash tonight. I did pull some pretty sweet things from it though.

Can I just stick the ringtones and notification sounds in the /system/media/audio? Are they the same file type ?

There are two versions now. One is the stand alone keyboard which doesn't replace your current keyboard.
The second version is flashable and it includes VOICE SEARCH! This one will replace your current keyboard. It is tested on Gingerbread and Froyo.

The Facebook mod is really excellent but the (orange keyboard) is really funky. It's squashed down at the bottom of the screen (like the bottom 1/8) in landscape & the portrait is even worse as besides being squashed it also use the same layout as the landscape.

It's because the settings are not meant for milestone, extract your keyboard for me and attach it here so I can see what settings you have, I have a nexus one so can't predict

I' using a flashable Gingerbread keyboard I got somewhere here on XDA. I've been playing with trying to change the letters to orange but haven't figured out what need to be changed yet. This is my first android phone & there is a lot to learn. BTW your theming guides have been really helpful too.

i will give this a try.

Please do not quote an entire op as it wastes space, accomplishes nothing, and is bad forum etiquette. A simple @ingoljosh works the same as a quote.

Wastes space?
I think its all about personal preference, its just easier to hit the "reply" button. I say to each his own,
If you had Forum etiquette you would have Private Messaged me instead of posting something off topic on this thread and throwing me under the buss like that was not proper etiquette either.
I think you posting that was waste of space and time.

Go quote an op in a ROM thread that is five times as large as this and see how much flamming you get from it, I could care less.
Most devs do not like the op to be quoted because if there are changes made to the op, and people come in and just read your quote, it is not updated to reflect it.
I was much nicer about my post then I usually am, but stay defensive/mad if you'd like too, again I could care less. Regardless, I've nothing more to say about this topic.

I have been waiting a long time for something like this! I installed the red theme and a few extra apps. I am on the aeon flex kit Kat and unfortunately the theming must not work on flex based roms.

yeah not sure bout that its for rooted people on like cm,aokp, slimkat etc..

Sorry, I must have missed the part in the op that this was for aosp roms.

It's ok, i didnt lose anything by trying. I wish someone would do some theming like this for lg based roms.
