I want to ask is that
Is it possible to to have switchable camera lens between normal and telephoto lens as telephoto lens would perform better in nightsight in Google camera.
As I took screenshots from engineer mode *#808#
Of normal camera and telephoto camera in low light where telephoto camera outstand in low light so if any developer can make switchable lens work for telephoto lens.
Normal camera in low light

Telephoto camera in low light
You can also see the difference
Go to engineer mode by *#808# and swipe left to camera and test both the camera in low light.
Lower camera is main camera and upper camera is telephoto you can check it by keeping fingers in camera lens
You already can with gcam, just enable auxiliary camera switch method.

I have been searching for this since I installed gcam. Which version are you using? The arnova latest version I'm using doesn't have the option for auxiliary cam

No. I don't use the secondary camera mode, nor do I care to debug it if I don't use it. You're better off asking @Arnova8G2, not me. You asked a simple can it be done and I answered.

for the tp2, the front has a proximity sensor, not a camera.
If you do have the evo, go into camera settings and at the very top there should be an option to choose which camera you wanna use.
Ok wot is this evo.
I my HTC Tp 2 i have in top left side LED information and proximity sensor next lower is second camera in right side.
And i did locking in settings camera but i do not see any options.
Thanks for interesting my problem

If you live in the US or not does'nt matter. What does, is where you bought your TP2. The Europian & Asian Market shipped the TP2 with both cameras. Only the US decided to have them taken out of the phone for their own reasons. So, if you have a TP2 that was from outside the US, call HTC Tech Support and ask them for help as on how to use the front camera.
Does the s6 has a hybrid stabilization (ois + software) on 1080p @30 ??

Ofcourse it does!. The Hybrid Stabilisation works only till 1080 @30,, anything beyond 1080p and 30 only makes use of OIS (hardware).

No, you're wrong. On S6, there's no hybrid stabilization.
If you enable EIS (named as "Video stabilization" on Samsung's camera app), OIS will be deactivated. So, only EIS will do the stabilization.
If you disable EIS (named as "Video stabilization" on Samsung's camera app), OIS will be activated. So, only OIS will do the stabilization.

You can't do macro shots with another sensor.
The macro sensor on the K30 has lenses that are able to focus within macro range (3-7 cm, if i remember correctly).
The sensors on the K30 Zoom do not have lenses with such a capability.

Such camera modules can make some good "close up shots" so to say, but neither of them will produce quality shots like dedicated macro camera lens.
Huawei can do that, Xiaomi can't.
Yo can do macro shots with the 'pro' mode of the K30 pro zoom version camera. But it hasn't a dedicated macro len, so results won't be like no zoom version, of course.View attachment 5049335

This is nothing compare to the macro shots from the F2 Pro.
The Zoom variant doesn’t have a macro lens, ergo it can’t take macro shots. *Some* *flagship* devices have a very-high-angle lens that has a Macro mode, because they can afford nicer lenses. Ex : the OnePlus 8 pro

Hi guys,
is there a solution for this problem? The focus doesn't work properly in 60FPS Video recording mode, always zooms in/out before focusing. I think the problem is known, but is there also a solution?
Thank you.

Sample video will be uploaded when I am back home.
Here is a short Video. You can see, that the focus always goes in/out before it finds the right spot.

Consider Focal Length
A short focal length, (or wide-angle lens) will usually have a deeper depth of field. You can see below as the lens gets longer, the image around the subject gets a bit blurrier. So keep your focal length short.
Shorter focal yields greater depth of field
Understanding Deep Depth of Field
This article answers what is deep depth of field by touching on depth of field and aperture. It focuses on how large depths of field create sharper images.
www.studiobinder.com
I think all video auto focusing does the same thing.
It needs to first detect between at least 2 samples to find out the good focus point.
And as the focus length changes, the picture will be zoom in/out.
The 1st and 2nd picture shows you the image height will change if the focus changes, which will zoom in/out. This is normal.
Solution ?...
Maybe lock the focus (if you can) and move your phone manually to find the best focus.
In GCam there's focus-tracking and some video stabilization methods, maybe it will help on focus a single object faster ?
Wenn thank you, but in 30FPS mode it works perfect. Also the 60FPS mode on my Note8Pro works fine, so it's just a problem on the X3 Pro... strange. I will give GCam another try.

GCam thread:
GCam for X3 Pro
Hi, For those with the POCO X3 Pro, what is the best GCam that is currently available to use - most stable, with better quality, etc.... I have tested some GCams from X3 NFC, but is a shot in the dark - some work, but i think is room to improve...
forum.xda-developers.com
There's some xml files to set for GCam on Poco X3 Pro for better performance. Use the GCam in the thread.
There's also Telegram group for Poco X3 Pro, you can ask there as well. Might be more photo/video experts there to answer and deal with this problem.
As you know, 12S Ultra has 3 camera sensors on the back.
The main sensor is IMX989, which is known as 1-inch sensor and it has best quality.
For ultra-wide and telephoto, it uses 1/2" IMX586.
When using default (Xiaomi) camera app, it uses IMX989 for wide, IMX 586 for ultra wide, telephoto, and macro.
This is normal. Nothing to be special.
But the problem starts when you're using 3rd party applications.
If application uses Android standard camera API, they will not utilize the main sensor.
Instead of a huge 1-inch IMX989, they will use IMX586 on the ultra wide.
You will get normal wide focal length (NOT ultra wide), but It will be noisier, less dynamic range, less resolution.
Maybe ultra wide sensor has two mode - full sensor readout for ultra wide, and pixel binning/cropping for macro and normal focal length.
This can be disappointment for some people, and huge minus for some nerdy professionals who using 3rd party apps like Filmic Pro.
You can test this by blocking MIDDLE lens on the back.
As far as I checked, Lightroom, Instagram, MotionCam, was not able to use Main sensor.
UPDATE : after clean installation of MIUI 13.0.7 with factory reset, problems are now fixed.

Thit is very weird, so I put it to the test.
The above apps you are saying you tried are working fine with the main sensor on mine phone.
I tried few more camera apps and they all use the main sensor too.
13.0.7 stable
I do confirm using main sensor on Lightroom.
However on lightroom it has only two camera modes, rear and front facing, and when you use the rear mode it first uses main sensor but when you are close to an object or you cover the laser sensor at the top, it automatically switches to ultrawide for macro.
version 13.0.7
Okay. I made factory reset / clean installation with MIUI 13.0.7 and its fixed now.
Maybe it was an bug on MIUI 13.0.4 or temporal error.
Thanks for checking.

yeah update note for 13.0.7 includes camera stuff, perhaps it included a fix to that problem in 13.0.4
well I'm glad it works for you now!
Have you tested motioncam / mcpro24fps? Are all sensors available, and what are the possible resolutions / framerates?
Considering a 12s Pro if the compatibility is there.
I‘ve tested MotionCam 4K at 30fps, 24fps. Only main sensor works.
But system will auto switch to macro (ultra-wide sensor) when you focus to close objects.
