Can somebody please extract the apk file of the weather and time widget.
Moto phones have the best weather/clock widgets available. I am using an older version (from Moto z play) and would appreciate if somebody can provide the newest version of the widget. Thanks.

Would I be able to do this using Adb? If so with some instruction I would like to help!

Thanks for your response. Honestly, i am not aware of the possibility of extracting an APK file through adb. Usually i use a file extract/share app like airdroid. I will wait a bit and keep checking apkmirror

sorry guys, noob question, but how do I boot my r800x into recovery? Im stock rooted so wondering if it will even work for me. would love this instead of using quicker.

You need to install ClockworkMod.
To enter recovery, you reboot your phone. When the "sony ericsson" screen comes on press the volume down button continuously.
Works great on my r800x. CDMA locked bootloader. I am glad to find things like this for us locked BL's. Thanks man!

normB8s, You need to go to Q&A section for 1 and search those kind of Q's. You need CWM or freexperia recovery. Easily found in SEARCH.
Thanks for the install of CWM. I had to find the driver for the xperia play than everything worked. Also thanks for leading me to the Q and A forums. I actually learned some things about my phone i didnt even know. Now im ready to install some cool roms. this is the best thing since DVR...I heard they have a rom for us with locked bootloaders. Im all Geeked up now....

Agreed Blanksr. You did an exceptional job with giving us xperia play users something that should have came stock. I So appreciate it. I have one problem though and that is my menus are all white and the letters are unredable

No, there just docks for Launcher Pro or similar. Extract them with WinRAR

now I want to insall it on my new device, but unfortunately I can't.

I've tried it and it's not the same as the full one I've sent.
Any way, Thx again for your effort and I'll try to find another software that does what I need from this one.

I don't know what the issue is. That apk is straight from my stock s7 edge with btu firmware.

My phone is stock and unrooted so I can't get the apk from system /priv-app. I used this app instead to backup the apk:

How are you running this? As an install or moving it to priv and putting in the relevant permissions to it?

Link goes to a malicious website with a download button. Pressed the button and it wanted to install a mp3song.apk like file. I cancelled and pressed again (living on the edge ) and then it would send me messages,I obvious blocked it.
Or something went completely wrong with your link or this is a scam.
Why don't you download the zip yourself, Put it on your gdrive and share it with us

can you help me locate the .jpg/.png./.qmg files or whateva that make up the fingerprint icon on the lockscreen? Can we mod it? or at least just delete those to have a clean looking lockscreen? It looks so basic and disgusting to me... I'm surprised and sad that no one else tried and theme that part of our S10 Series device.

I have thought to look for this too. Both the fingerprint icon and the weird wave effect afterword are very tacky. I'd assume it's buried in the system somewhere but it could be themable.

doesn't seem like it or I just couldn't find it in those apk's but found something in the BiometricSetting.apk. But i guess those are just for the setup process and not those ones used on the actual lockscreen.
