Coming from a Samsung S8+ Im missing several features that I really enjoyed. Maybe an app can bring some of these options back?
I took my first time lapse video with the OP 7P and it turned an 8 minute recording into a 1min 50 second video. I thought it would be like 10-15 seconds? Kind of worthless. Am I missing a setting to change the speed?
Is there any chance of us getting a software update to allow "live" pictures like Samsung/Apple do? Records a 1 -2 second video for every pic? I miss that a lot
Would be nice if Videos started to play automatically in the Gallery without clicking the play button. Samsung had an un-mute button near the bottom to turn on sound.
Also what is up with image previews being cut off on Windows computers? The bottom half of the image is missing in pics 1, 2 and 4 below. Pic 3 was taken with GCam. This is in a folder on my desktop computer

This application is built to enhance the photo quality stored in the Android contact. Android system only supports contact photo in the resolution of 200 x 200. It is not good enough to be displayed in full screen when users are using add-in incoming call screens such as Answer Calls by Gesture (ACG).
HDC can capture high quality photo from the phone camera or existing image files in your device. As usual, you are able to crop the photo before setting to the contact. The photo resolution is chosen for you automatically according to your device. No worry on wasting storage spaces on over-high quality image.

Approaching 200 downloads just after initial released for 1.5 days. Give it a try. Just have it updated. Now users can choose half screen resolution for their entry level devices. Better performance to use with Answer Call by Gesture (ACG).
I discovered that I can upload videos longer than 10 seconds up on snapchat. I uploaded a video from snapprefs from my gallery, it was actually a screen recording of a song on apple music. I was just on the playback UI on apple music and recorded the screen for almost 3.41 minutes. then I went to the file, and shared it to snapprefs and waited to start snapchat, snapprefs changes the snap then I sent it to my story as well as my friends it was sent successfully sent.
So its kinda basically seeing the seek bar moving and listening to the song but the single video is longer than 10 seconds.
anyone interested to test it, please add me on snapchat and ask me to send a video longer than 10 seconds.
AOSP kitkat rom, snapchat version- 9.21.1.0 (only this version was able to record video from camera sucsessfully on my vivo 4/gionee s5.5. planning to but nexus 6p this week, so could test last version of snapprefs too), Snapprefs-1.6.5

Good day Sirs
I would just like to ask if there are any of you guys that has encountered this issue/bug on s8+'s back camera using Pro mode and high shutter speed settings (as you move the shutter speed to high)
the issue usually presents itself when I go to Pro mode and use high shutter speed settings which is 1/500 and up and usually indoors
got to test this on two demo units and only 1 also has this
could you any of you guys post your images with the said settings or if you guys had it replicated...
the issue/bug is already right there at the preview screen
so what you see on my images is also what i see on my screen... the only difference is the dark lines are moving sideways on the preview screen
please help me on this Sirs
will bring my unit at the service center this weekend
btw, I have the S8+ exynos version
here are the shots

Download: Adobe Photoshop Camera (preview) for Android is now live!
Please download, install & feedback what you guys think about it with sample photos etc.
I installed on Samsung Note 8 working for now haven't hit any crashes yet.
Will upload samples when I done shooting with the app.
Crashes after taking a photo on my Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with Miui 10.3.5 (Pie).
But the most frustrating thing is that, except for the filters and so, the options are extremely poor: only 2 picture sizes, no panorama, no ... Nothing.
I am going to uninstall it.
It is preview, I do not expect it to work or work well.
See where it goes.
Installed and works on Xperia 1 Android 10 but no gallery? There is no option to choose storage?
I don't know where it stores the pictures, the share button works though.
Kind of cool but the edge detection needs work. I imagine stability and storage options would improve with device specific inclusions.
Hi there,
I'm a new owner and the OOS11 upgrade was available for me out-of-the-box so I've been using that since day one. After first setting up the phone and loading my apps full screen worked as expected and respected the camera notch setting (show/hide). I have it set to show the camera hole so apps should all work full screen.
Everything was working as expected until I picked the phone up the other morning and full screen is broken. It's now some hybrid combination of show/hide. It works perfectly if I hide the camera but now, with the camera showing my apps don't go full screen, see the screen shots below.
With the camera hidden WhatsApp displays correctly:

}
With the camera not hidden WhatsApp doesn't render properly full screen:
With the camera hidden Asphalt 8 displays correctly:
With the camera shown Asphalt 8 renders incorrectly:
This occurs for all apps and prior to this all apps were working as expected full screen. I've toggled just about every setting I can find and even removed some software/apps to see what might be the problem but I have run out of ideas.
Short of a factory reset, does anybody have any insight or suggestions?
TIA
Bump.
Surely I'm not the only one?
