FLASH THE LASTEST FIRMWARE FROM SAMMOBILE/UPDATO BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ROM.

0. ALWAYS BACKUP(esp EFS)
1. Download the C5 ROM and copy to SD card.
__ Download Samsung SM-C5000 TWRP Files and extract it (EXTRACT ONLY THE TWRP zip once nothing else)
2. Install CROM Service APK (inside the TWRP zip) to unlock crom lock in download mode.(note there is 2 version of the crom.apk if one doesnt work install the other)
3. Disable locks ( disable all FINGERPRINT LOCKs, and OEM lock ). OEM unlock found in developer options, tap build number 7 times to unlock
4. Reboot into download mode. (Make sure CROM Service is unlocked and FRP lock is off.)
5. Using Odin (Inside TWRP zip) Click AP and Select "C5000-TWRP-TEST.tar" from the extracted files
--after flashing the device will reboot itself
6. Turn off device and Reboot into TWRP custom recovery. (by pressing power, home, and volume up button)
7. In TWRP go to WIPE-> select System,Data, Cache, Dalvik ART and wipe them (DO NOT WIPE SD CARD, or internal storage)
8. In TWRP go to INSTALL-> and select the C5 rom and install it
9 . Reboot and wait 7-10 minutes for first boot. (don't panic, only the first boot takes that long, because the ROM is deodexed.)

Installed fine, had an issue with "Checking connection screen" on first boot, took forever. Solution was to eject sim card and try again.
But wifi wont connect, can't turn it on. I had this issue with one other ROM.
Any idea?

here is a bug after flash of ur rom i dont have root as some app like Dr.fone and GT recovery said ur device is not rooted but for other apps like titanium backup grant su permission strange problem please help

Hey Umair, First of all you have to downgrade your bootloader to C5000ZHU1API2 .. ANd then do the rest of the process. It will work

Cannot open TWRP mode
Hi guys. I am using Baseband version of C5000ZCU1AQC1.
I have already disabled FRP and CROM. And I flashed TWRP using Odin(success) But right now when I follow key sequence and try to boot into TWRP...
It brings me into Recovery.
I cannot access the TWRP.
What is wrong?
At this point should I wipe cache partition & data and then try updating the custom ROM using sdcard? Because if I try to click 'update from sdcard' it shows me that it is not possible.
Also. How to backup everything without TWRP??? This is so confusing. Since I don't have the same firmware version should I just not risk it? Please tell me.
If it's not possible in anyway I would break this phone in two if not.

[STF-L09C432] How to install Oreo on your H9

So when it comes to the newly released EMUI8 for Honor 9 things get a little bit tricky, as we don't have any official update for our region yet (only for C900 and AL variants - chinese).
Every file i provided have been built during the way finding how stuff works on oreo - and alot of stuff changed EDIT: Official update is out for C432 - i recommend to not use the provided TWRP for daily, reliable usage.
PART 1
0. download the B360a zip from my mega folder
1. read README.txt from fw zip and follow the steps carefully (easy install)
2. have fun with official oreo
Rollback instructions
1. copy the rollback zip and nocheck recovery (!!oreo version!!) to the root of your MicroSD card
2. enable usb debugging in developer options
3. connect your phone to your computer, start an adb shell and issue the following commands:

dd if=/storage/sdcard1/STF_RECOVERY_OREO_NoCheck.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/erecovery_ramdisk

4. last but not least reboot recovery, again in adb shell:

5. your device should start to flash a chinese version of nougat (EMUI 5.1)
hint: if you get an error during the installation, just press the reboot button, it still boots.
device crashes during boot? do a low-level data partition format, boot into erecovery when you get asked to.
6. prepare the MicroSD (8gb atleast, exFAT formatted)
download the C432 firmware and extract it
copy the dload folder you extracted to the root of your MicroSD
7. if required unlock your bootloader
8. flash the nocheck recovery (nougat version) to recovery and recovery2 partition using fastboot

9. boot your device into force dload mode (keep vol+, vol- and power pressed until the installation starts)
10. you should boot into a fresh L09C432B100 installation

To fix the file manager, open your root file explorer and follow the steps carefully:
1. create a folder called "normal" in /cust/hw
2. create a second folder in the previously created one, name it "app"
3. now move HwCloudDrive_Local folder from /cust/hw/eu/app to /cust/hw/normal/app
4. reboot

After I done the factory reset my themes lost again, and the boot animation too...and the apps....
I mean, I done everithing what you said and the themes come back...but after i relocked the bootloader its gone....like if i didn't do anithing :S (sorry for my bad English)

thats normal, your phone is still running c432, this is just a ui thing, if it disturbs you i can post the path where the version is beeing set

I have NTFS system files on my SD card and i can't mount this card in TWRP.

Hi! And first of all, thanks a lot for this guide as you just gave hopeless H9 owners a bit of light...
Now I haven't gone through the process yet but I got a bit confused as of part.3 (that is recommended but not needed), should we unroot BEFORE flashing Ramdisk and Recovery Ramdisk? I then have an old UnSu script by Osmosis, would it work or the "Full Unroot" option from the SuperSu app is okay?

Install huawei services from play store but it won't help ;P
Because online themes is disabled by default

After reading this I was hoping that you could steer me in the right direction. I have a C9 Pro and it wont boot up properly. It remains at the samsung screen and then shuts down. I went on www.sammobile.com to search the firmware variants but could not find one for Canada. I know how to use Odin and I know how to flash my phone, so that isn't my concern. my concern is that I am unable to find the variant I need. The one for China that I found says its "open market" but that only means for China that it is open right? or can I use that over here in Canada? Also once I flash the phone with Odin would you suggest that I use TWRP as well?

I have not tested it

How to root using this tool? I select root after flashing the recovery but it just flashes the recovery and boots into it. What's the next step?

Have you choose the magisk version? Can you see when you are in TWRP the device is recognized in adb mode?

I was busy for a while and I tested it.
Cannot install apks as bulk (30+ apks) by selecting all. I tried to install 68 apks at time, failed, again tried half of it, failed.
No issues with 20-25 apks.
Please do have a note of it and try to fix it.

No response after selecting the apks. Usually a command window should open, but not in this case. Installing is shown only for a fraction of second and then it disappears and back to "Install selected Apks".

No issues with 25+ apks. Try with 50+apks.

Downloaded the files, Root the phone and installed the TWRP but I could not get the Gapps to work with both Google Installer and recovery. Any suggestions on how to make Google Apps work?

but twrp gapps.zip flash problem ( problem system folder space low )
now you copy your OS version google gapps folders (4 folder )
copy boot/system/priv-app
and press folders and select
right up corner 3 dot
permisions press
enter octal "0755"
and click 2 check box area.
say yes
and reboot.
enjoy it.

You can install the pico version of gapps as it fits in the system partition but for Android 9 you need to mount system_root.

I've selected the backup and after the installation my apps and data were still the same.
I' ve only lost the root and had to reinstall the play store.

i am having the same problem. not fixed ı try other android device sync after bluetooth sending my contracts.

you don't know why the bootloader locks itself after unlocking the bootloader and then restarting it? what commands should I use to be permanently unlocked? I can't install xposed by following Magisk

The answer to the first question is still not found.

Please have exact commands for adb unlocking the bootloader?
i enter: adb / adb devices
********************** adb / adb reboot bootloader
********************** adb / fastboot nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX616J
********************** adb / fastboot nubia_unlock_critical NUBIA_NX616J_CRITICAL
and exit the program.
Is it right?
