I'm using this build for about 5-6 hour's , the main issue is the delay of 2-3 sec when u press the power button . random reboots . other then that the rom is good for daily use . I hope the CM-devs will fix this problem soon !

i'm not sure why i have this issue. I get to complete all the optimization, it doesn't boot and just turns off.

May I know which rom where u using before this? Did u try clean install ?

Had the same Problem, came from euphoria OS and had miui 7 installed before euphoria.
I flashed miui 6 stable Rom before RR and the Problem is gone

The delay is gone with the Sensor patch from Dh.Haralds CM12.1 Thread. Also adaptive brightness is working after the patch, without patch it was not working. Maybe you should link to the Sensor patch and update install instructions in OP regards

No , it was from dh.harald's kernel branch .
my next build will be from mi4i-dev . I will use the cm12.1-stable branch this time .

1. Backup your current rom.
2. Perform full wipe if you come from Miui Rom.
3. Flash the rom + gapps.
4. Reboot.
5. Enjoy the new rom.

If you have any problem flash the dev version of miui6 and then flash this rom .

Camera
Hey, thank you for a new ROM.
The problems I have right now are the camera which will not open at all and the fingerprint sensor which is not even an option in settings.
I had Resurection Remix Rom installed before I installed your ROM. Wiped everything as you said, twice, and the bugs are still here. If you need more info just tell me.

Try reflash the vendor zip.

Well this is an intial build,things will be clean in next build andplz provide logs if u can .Meanwhile u can try aoscp ,slim and other roms in my collection of roms thread.

steps what I do:
1. enter twrp
2.adwance wipe/select cache+dalvic+data
3. (first time reboot recovery, second no)
4.flash rom zip
5.flash pico gapps
6.(first time I format only cache, second time cache+dalvic) without luck
7.sorry maybe I make somewhere mistake :/

I skipped this blackscreen issue by Flashing Los 14.1 zip latest one HERE and flashed this(AospExtended ROM) over it , and it worked
and also no need to flash the vendor zip if you follow the above step.:good:

Hi, you didn't put any source link in OP. You are obliged to post at least kernel source link, but would be nice if you post also device and vendor tree link. I was also working on this ROM but since I don't own the device I was looking for testers.

As I think you already know, all the custom ROMs are based on OpemKirin device & vendor tree. Kernel may be also from OpenKirin, because not require any modification in order to boot on this ROM . With OpenKirin sources you can bring almost any custom ROM with slightly modifications.
But as you already said the OP need to link the source code as well !
Anyway we should wait a bit cause the ROM is pretty new

I'm an official AEX maintainer, so I know how it works. I also know about your team, really great work, based my custom kernel on yours. I asked because I have a device tree ready for building AEX for the honor 8 on a github org, and I though that he may have used mine without credits.

Anyway if there will be some custom ROMs without proper credit, then on the next Android O, there will be only OpenKirin custom ROMs , because I'm not going to release the new source code ( device & vendor tree) for building Android O .

FAQ:
1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

Sorry for asking same here ... how do we need to flash SuperSU in this? as I said earlier in ur other builds except Elite rom i had issues in flashing SU. Even if I flash the v2.82 Su icon or root permission doesnt exist.
Please advise. or give a work around. Without root permission Roms are not exiting to use.:cyclops:

if supersu app icon is present, go to it nd select default action to grant access,, then use any root app,,,

Exactly thats my problem. SU icon is not appearing even after flashing SU file and none of the apps gets root access (mainly Titanium backup).

lol,,,, sometimes data didnot gets mounted so app dont get installed,,, root with zip nd install app normally latest supersu app,, or get from supersu zip file,, its in common folder,,,

I didn't forget it but issue is, we are working on Aosp Oreo & LineageOS 15.1 as CodeOfHonor team... And we have fixed major bugs like wifi, bt, sound, display for Oreo Roms...

->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.

Are you sure you installing Pico gapps, check and tell how much free space you have in your system partition

Hi,
I am installing open gapps arm 9.0 pico 20181112,format SYSTEM space is about 871MB, after installing the ROM i get left with like 71MB. Then gapps flash fails :/

The error of the videos in whatsapp and instagram has no way of correcting or will it be corrected with next updates?

well, first of all you should start from the wiki of the microg project to get an understanding of what it is and how it works.
after that i suggest you to check nanodroid and its detailed documentation. this is probably the easiest way to get started on most roms and it's very well configured so, not only works mostly out of the box, but also has some "features" useful for beginners.

I know they are tagged as "not working" and "can't be fixed" but can I have some clues on why they are not working?
Even some links would be welcome!
Just want to know if it's indeed not fixable or if I may help with it some way

Don't know whether its fixable or not but I have found a way around for this. When status or videos aren't running close the app and clear it from recents then again open the app and now it should run fine.
Hope it will be helpful.
I will give logcat if @Allstargaurav needs...

It's an issue of the hardware all devices with these cpu's have this issue (msm8226-8610-8974) except the nexus 5,the devs from What I got they already know the cause of the error but haven't been able to do anything,they even tried porting fixes from the nexus 5 with no results

Best Pei ROM (so far).
But, Hotspot not working.
How to reproduce:
1. Open bar navigation.
2. Click in "Mobile data".
3. Click in "Hotspot".
Puf... in two seconds is disabled again.

For me most fluid launcher in Pie builds, fluid like previously used AOSP Extended V4.6 (7.1.2). But for me one problem:

App drawer bobbing up and down!
First of all: Many thanks to the developers for giving me the bang up to date Android release (Pie) to my 5 year old phone!
Why does the app drawer (at the bottom of the home screen) keep bobbing up and down until I touch it? I find it mega annoying!

Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

gapps never install..error 64... with arm version it's installed but never appears in the rom...google play sill absent...

The ROM install succesfull. Error 64 while installing opengapps64pico. The installer ask me for an "arm" gapps, not arm64.

I have vendor partition problem after try install this rom. I was able to install lineage os 16 many time ago, after that i have vendor partition error .... bah...

LineageOS installs perfectly, it is the opengapps that do not install ...

It s the same but After many times of install this rom my vendor partition crashed and now i dont know how restore It correctly.. without vendor partition operational i dont install aosp and lineage pie version....

Is it necessary to install stock gapps
Because i used nano version and after installation it got stuck in setting up my profile an all and it has a major bug its ui keeps restarting approx after 5 minutes...

I have only One problem... Audio recording in WhatsApp Is distorted muted randomly... I do not why...

It has a major bug screen lock is not getting locked many times
